McCallan's Coffee and deli shop in Bradford

Average food which we both found fairly tasteless, bizarre meal combinations and our clothes smelt heavily of fat after being there for less than 10 minutes. Not the best.

We had McCallam for our party food last week. Everybody enjoyed the food a lot. There was plenty to choose from we can only recommend their service and food.

We have passed this cafe many times during walks and decided to call in for brunch today. I was expecting a traditional little cafe but it's so much more. There's a great menu and all very reasonably priced. My husband had a small breakfast with an extra egg and said it was perfect, especially the eggs. My toasted teacake was also great. I was almost tempted by the lovely looking Danish pastries. It was really busy when we visited and the staff work flat out while remaining friendly. Overall excellent value for money and we look forward to calling again.

This cafe also does superb catering for events. Thank you McCallans for the fantastic warm buffet your served for my Mum’s wake. A superb savoury spread including veggie options and a delicious range of cakes and exotic desserts. Could not have been better. And thank you for the flow of cups of tea and soft drinks that you served our guests throughout the afternoon. Everything was 110%, I cannot recommend this catering firm and the staff highly enough.

The cafe is nicely decorated and immaculately clean. About 2 miles from the centre of Shipley. I had a small breakfast + orange juice + coffee. The total was about £7. The (presumably) owners were pleasant and attentive. Open on a Sunday +++

Stopped for a quick bite. Had an Americano and a sandwich. Both very good. Quick friendly service. Busy, clean and efficient. Prices very good.

Called for lunch on the way to owlcotes after being recommended by friends and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the produce and the friendly atmosphere. Is quite small and while we were there there seamed a lot of people coming to collect takeaways but well worth the visit

This place is a gem. The staff are friendly so even going alone you are made to feel welcome and like a friend. The food is amazing with so much choice from a sandwich to Lasagne. They have a selection of sweet treats too that go lovely with one of their coffees.

Popped in here for lunch with a friend. Lunch was popping hot and delicious. The coffee was in a giant mug, brilliant. Tried the green night recently.... totally enjoyed that too.

really nice cafe. impressed with the staff in uniforms, good compact menu with plenty of choices, pleasant decor good service and well-cooked food at very modest prices.

Popped in for lunch with a friend. The place was rammed (good to see). Had a very lovely coffee and a panini.....mmm....Will so be going back there.

My daughter and I recently visited for the first time one afternoon, it was around 3pm. We were made very welcome. We found a table and perused the menu. We expected to go to the counter and order, but a lovely lady came and took our order. We didn't wait very long before our hot beef baguette with gravy came out. We were amazed the bread was delicious the food piping hot and a wonderful salad on the side. The coffee was excellent. I had a glass of wine which I was given a choice too. The whole experience was excellent. This will now be our go to place instead of one of the well known coffee shops, cheaper and better value all round. Good place to go.

Visited one week day morning for breakfast and believe me it waz well worth it... Beautiful cooked breakfast with unlimited tea and toast.. Do drop in and enjoy the place...

I have been to this coffee shop on numerous occasions and have always found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The food is great and reasonably priced. Although the coffee shop is small (seats about 20 I think) the service is usually very quick. The shop is right on to the main road where usually you will find some parking but be careful this road is very busy. The only negative I have is that the music they play tends to be very loud making it hard for you to talk and hear what your companion is saying. It is only supposed to be background music not disco!!

Friendly staff, warm welcome and great food! Such good value for money. 2 paninis, with salad on the side 2 coffees all for under £10! It was so tasty too and healthy portions.

Had coffee and a slice of Coffee & Walnut cake. Delicious. The place was lovely and clean, the staff were very nice and even the other customers were nice too. It's a great wee cafe, worth a visit.

Called in here on my way home, the coffee was great and the cake was even better.... The next time I am in I will ask for less foam on my coffee.?... Great place.

Does what it says on the tin on Leeds Road near Thackley Corner. Perfect place for a coffee and food. Food is hot or cold and the cakes are great. If you fancy a quick coffee either with friends or on your own the staff are so welcoming. Takeaway or eat in definitely try it

What a lovely little coffee house! Been here for breakfast with my family which was lush and had coffee and cake with friends. Both times have excellent and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The service is always with smile and they go out of there way to make sure you have everything you need. Only downside is you can be a bit squashed in but I can live with that!

We have there excellent coffee every morning and there's an arrangement of teas.

i have visited this little cafe pretty often in the last few months and have to say the food is top notch. the food is always fresh and tasty and the cakes especially the lemon drizzle are gorgeous. we have begun to know the owner and the ladies who work there and they are lovely, helpful and very efficient. we needed a nice cafe here in thackley and this place fits the job nicely. they make lots of different food starting with full english, toast or sandwiches or later on i usually get a salad bowl which to be honest is massive so im not always able to finish off. they have a variety of cakes and buns too which we sometimes get wrapped up. often they are busy and the tables are full but usually there is not long to wait for a table and its worth the wait. its spotless too which makes all the difference. due to its nearness to thackley primary it has become a meeting place for us mums and grandmas. i would recommend this place to others and many are hooked now too. thanks ladies you do an excellant job.
