Mazee's Place in Barking and Dagenham

Place is never open when I go past at different times of the day the shutters are always down. Don't look that welcoming from the outside either

They serve rubbish, only fat as beef.

The owners have taken steps to avoid contamination; they were cleaning and trying to Social distance as much as possible. And take-away seafood-okra was awesomely tasty. Thank u Mazees kitchen.

Compare to other restaurant in Essex, it is the best and will always be the best beyond reasonable doubt. Well refurbished now

The environment needs a facelift, service was poor, the food arrived late but tasted nice. The toilet was quite dirty with no working hand dryer or napkins available.

I had great pepper soup. They also have good African dishes. Several soups that are good for the body. A good place to eat

The owner will fight you over car park meant for customers. he claim the car park is meant for his favourite customers. what a shame. wouldn't recommend the restuarant to my enemies. insufficient stuffs, poor customer service, dirty staffs, toilet is a no go area. The restaurant uses a power supply generator. edf cut off the power supply because they can't pay their bills. shame. no point argiung with the owner because if you do, he will slap you like he did to me... never again

Nice jollof rice, first time was crazy spicy (put me off) but the second attempt craving jollof rice was much better. Pepper soup looks good, will return.

Don't bother ordering food before hand and expecting to pick it up and find it ready. Order food at 7:50pm over the phone gave my name to ensure my food was not given away as it had happened to me in the past. I was told my food would be ready in 15 minutes. Called again at 8:15 to say I was on my way and that I was running late, I was told no problem and that my food was ready. Arrived expecting to pick up my food and found myself waiting 40 minutes. If the food was for me alone I would have left. Poor poor poor.

It was my first time at this restaurant and the service was brilliant. Friendly environment and easy to access. Not sure if the facility has parking space so I used McDonald's just across the road.

I love their grilled fish with dundun and dodo... The staff are always friendly... Have I mentioned that I love their grilled fish?

The restaurant needs to take advantage of it unique location and position being the only African restaurant in the area to improve its decor and facilities. The food in general is good quality.

Excellent service delivered here

Rudeness of staff was beyond belief. We were not greeted or shown to a table. There were six of us and the waitress dropped two menus on the table and walked off. Needless to say we stood up and left. 0 customer service = loss of business.

Be sure to wait 3 hours for your delivery considering we ordered 14 mins away. Why do Nigerian restaurants bring their very poor customer service with them from Nigeria.
