Ordered a combo platter the food was served as if I was buying a doggy bag. When I phoned up to give feedback the rude woman started shouting and said if I don’t like the way it is served don’t come back. I’ve been buying from them for years I can’t believe the rudeness

Wasn’t happy at all with the food , rice was tasteless , I’m sure one of my portions should of been a large but come in the same tub as the normal size dish ! Haven’t ordered from here in ages and now I know why ! Sorry to leave the review BUT I just wasn’t happy , i understand everyone uses different seasoning, but the rice was plan and boring

Very rude!!!! They lack customer service. Stopped patronising them for many years. Last night because of time decided to patronise them again! When checking my change she rudely asked me what’s the problem? I thought to myself I think this is it!! Will never patronise this shop again. Food wasn’t great. Will never recommend this place.

I ordered from here as they had the highest rating, but not until I started to eat did I realise the had a 1* hygiene rating 🤢… if they have that low of a score they shouldn’t be allowed to operate.

Food was delicious and arrived quickly. Best Chinese I’ve had in a long time. The vegetarian options, especially the tofu were so flavoursome. The portion sizes are smaller than I’m used to but definitely made up for that in flavour. Our special instructions for our food were followed as well. Very impressed! As a vegan I often struggle finding good options and places that will accommodate my dietary requirements so I was apprehensive to try somewhere new but Lotus House didn’t let me down.

I actually love this restaurants food however since their hygiene rating dropped from a 5 to a 1, I don’t think I’ll be able to trust it. I just hope it increases again soon.

Delivered earlier than stated, great as we were all hungry! Fresh, piping hot & tasty. We have ordered from here on a few occasions & never had a bad meal, the best Chinese we've had in a long time. Shame its only got 1 star for hygiene tho 🫤

Absolutely awful, everything was literally dripping in oil. Went into the bin. Ignored notes and very small portions for a very large price. First order and def will not be returning. How do they have such good reviews? 🤔

I received notification at 18:35 saying my order was on its way. It arrived at 19:25 which was 1/2hour later than the latest arrival time of 18:55. I rang the restaurant at 19:00 for an update & was told order was on its way. When I said I had been notified of this 25 minutes ago they said they was calling the driver & call me back. I never heard back. Very poor delivery service. Very poor customer service & cold food.

Uses this place twice now, will definitely be our new regular

Not as nice as usual. The satay chicken had a hint of lemon to it. Think it may be a different chef than usual! But always arrives on time or early and piping hot!

Always order from here. There the best Chinese we have had. Even when I ust to live at my mums she ust to order from there too so it's going back a good few years 😊

Very very bad customer service that is why rice hut is 4 doors away and way more busier! Girl between 30-40 at reception very rude un helping and forced me out when I only asked for my food to have extra salt and chillin when i was willing to pay extra obviously 🤦‍♂️ very very very bad Chinese and rude staff wouldn’t be surprised if they have Labradors and Rats around the place

Would not use again. One item of my order was missing. Called Lotus House who confirmed that it was there mistake and they would refund this - no refund has been issued !

Have order for here for years but the last few time I have been very disappointed with the food. Today what I received was tasteless, the prawn balls were over cooked, hard crispy batter, not doey like normal. Also the price has really increased over the past year and you don’t even get free prawn crackers anymore. Sad to say will have to find a new Chinese takeaway

FIRST and LAST time ordering from this place. The 'beef' in the set meal for 1 was very stringy and chewy. No flavour in it or the sauce whatsoever. I have never experienced such awful tasting food from any Chinese takeaway ever. Very upsetting. I want the chef to read this and up his/her game pronto. Nothing about my order was satisfactory. £24 odd down the drain. The dumplings were way tooooo doughy as well. The chicken balls were like processed chicken. The sesame prawn toast was just ok. Gosh, terrible experience. I give them NO STARS at all for the bland food that was delivered. You must Do Better. I was treating myself last night (knowing today is payday), but it was a total waste of money and patience waiting to be wowed. Wish I had just followed my mind and made a 3 minute packet of noodles instead. Now they're tasty!

Delivery was in time but the food was bland, too salty, and not edible. The chicken spring roll was full of mushrooms, other veg, so almost no chicken and so saltyyyy !!! the fried lamb in spicy sauce was nothing than bland food, it was not fried but very soft ! The Singapore style fried was just basically like Cantonese rice (yellow rice, mixed with meat and sea food ). Really I did not enjoy none of the items ordered. I will not order again.

Placed an order tonight with a very Angry lady ..got angry because I asked how much order come to as she has very strong accent I didnt understand her so politely asked again she turned angry aggressive and shouted "I told you 3 time" asked why the attitude she said " I tell you 3 time" when food arrived wasn't up to usual standard you could tell it wasn't fresh and had been warmed up.i phoned to let them know.will miss delivery man Ali his ALWAYS POLITE. they have lost a good regular customer tonight.no need for bad attitude from staff.

Placed an order for delivery tonight and had the misfortune of speaking to a very rude lady her attitude was terrible spoke very rudely iv been a customer for years but safe to say wont to using this take away again NOT while this lady is taking the orders.food was warmed up not fresh if this is how they treat loyal customers I dread to think how new customers will be treated.

Disappointed with the chicken chowmein last night. It was very dry, like the noodles had just been boiled and not fried, hardly any onions or beansprouts. Took it to my aunt's, a 5 minute walk away, and the food was just luke warm. Will not be buying again.
