Very disappointing Kabli pilau , tasted like few days old, rice was mushy,lamb had gone tough with obsorbing fat and dark in colour, absolutely tasteless and waste of money. The whole peri chicken was not cooked long enough and tasted like it had bern marinating for a few days....tasted like day after leftovers. Both items were the worst ever that I have tasted !!! This branch not reccomended.

Food is disgusting and arrived cold

I placed a catering order for a party. Food was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. Excellent customer service and will use again.

Made a large order for a family event, which consisted of Large platters and mix grills. The food was ready on time and tasted great. Flavours and spices were on point, meats were well cooked and tender and prices are reasonable considering the portion size.

an hour after ordering got told they had no lamb so can we have chicken. got a message on the app to say it had left just after 9pm. we are 15 mins max from the shop called at half 9 said the driver will be there in a minute. 10pm app says enjoy your food but no food had been delivered. called them again they say answer the door his there. at 10.05pm yes he was there apologised his bike broke down. fair enough but why not just tell us that.

Good food, was really well packaged, lovely and clean packaging. Good service and friendly people. Good temperature but the delivery took a little long, however the wait was worth it. Their chilli sauce they give for chips is really nice!

Dont believe the reviews. I used to order here regular and my bills were high too. They changed owners since 2022 I think and they are so over priced you can eat at a restaurant with the money you will spend! I had a new baby and throughout pregnancy I used to order food it was never perfect and I used to wonder why? As they used to be different. So, they are nice to first time customers. who order in awhile may be but don’t appreciate long term customers and customers who spend and order a lot they don’t want to make money. Stingy and portion so disgusting! For an example they took the mick ones when they offered me over the phone to take kabuli pulao as they had ran out of pilau rice. I used to order directly and normally other restaurants give to you for the same price if something ain’t available or let you know on the phone it will be extra. read further: And the owners are now Afghans! Stingy as hell and don't know how to cook. One of the guys oferred me on the phone once that they ran out of pilau rice and he goes to me I can give you Afghan pilau if you like. - it was twice the price higher and normally other restaurants when they run out of abything they offer you the replacement items for the same price or free. These are people from a different country and took over who can't even cook the food. There is hardly any meat in any of the biryani dishes they sre nice to first time customers but once you become a regular they dont even bother but take your money like greedy nasty people. And dont even think of ordering directly! I used to order a lot from them even later when these nasty greedy people took over but after my last order i had enough. Filthy liars!!! Namak Haram not Namak Halal. The skinny guy is still nice but the one who dresses like young guy with glasses is so stingy

I can't enjoy my food as is stipulated as it has not been delivered yet. Even though the app says it has. Seems to be a regular Occupancy with just eat lately. This is why we have stopped have takeaways.

Arrived very late but the quality was not so bad. Sauce should had not been mixed inside doner, salad and naan bread. It was all very soggy and cold when arrived.

Restaurant called me up to say items they didn't have. Not a good start. Ordered the Kofte and lamb chops. Both extremely bland. They need to up their stock and flavours if they want better honest reviews.

First they call me we donot have traka daal and kabuli pilau. But we send you chicken biryani and mash daal these are our best. I accept it. Delivery came 20 mins late. Food was disgusting. Fully cold food as they take it out from freezer. Naans are like made by wood and totally burn. Daal mash is worst ever i see and eat. I throw whole food and order from somewhere else. Becareful donot waste your money and time.

Today, I purchased chicken tikka and kebabs. The tikka was overpriced, and it lacked flavor, leaving me with the impression that I was chewing on over-salted, boiled chicken.

Very poor. There are good take aways on the high road. This is not one of them. Very disappointed. Lamb incinerated. Chicken dry. I was hungry. Otherwise it would have gone in the bin

Tasty biryani at reasonable price

I ordered a triple lamb Sheek kebab roll. Tasted fabulous and not the usual Pakistani kebab rolls. Freshly made unlike some other places where they just bulk make it and then essentially reheat and place in fresh naan.

First and last time ordering from here. Tried their Nihari, Chana and Lamb Curry. All three were completely bland, even though I asked them to make it extra spicy. Nihari tasted off and was not fresh. Chana did not look like chana at all - it was basically the canned chickpeas in very runny watery gravy (try to soak your chana properly to soften them because they were very hard and make a proper gravy with tomatoes and onions instead of only water!). Lastly, medium lamb curry had no flavour, had 7 small pieces of lamb and did not taste good. You really need a new chef. Will be sticking to Kebabish Original down the road for quality food each and every time.

It's wasting of time and money such a harmfull food and serving food which was. Cook 6 days before. Shame. The owner is so rude with customer and no sense how to talk. Pls check his kitchen situation very dirty I saw mouse in the kitchen Un tidy kitchen. They don't use gloves. Food department should take action against him

Git a take away from here for iftar and it was fabulous.

The chicken donar at Essex Kebabish is very oily, they served with bits of chicken skin. Avoid this particular dish from their menu. The chicken skin and the excessive oil spoilt it.

Great food and quick delivery service

Ordered takeaway at midday expecting the food to be freshly made seeing how early in the day it was. Sadly food appeared as though had been heated up and didn’t taste fresh. Pakoras were old and stale which I had to heat up. Give the time of day I’d love cover freshly fried crispy ones. Fried fish did not appear as expected Fast service though and they added some free sweets.

Overall not a place I'd recommend going to unless every other place is unavailable. Dined in but regretted doing so. Noticed the table's were still not cleared. Yet despite sitting down the staff did not bother cleaning down the area. Another table was being used as a dumping ground for used plates and cutlery directly in front of where I was sitting. So yeah. In terms of cleanliness and general hygiene, it's not great at all. The food was just ok. I ordered a half chicken and rice. The chicken was just about seasoned. I ordered extra hot but it was bland as can be. No heat at all. The chicken was not rubbery but still quite dry. The skin was not the good crispy but very thin and yellowish. The rice was bland, serving no purpose other than getting carbs into your diet. Finally price. It costs £7 for the meal which is not bad, however i came in having seen them put out a board with the price reduced to £6. So they don't seem to know or care what prices they're charging their customers.

This place are scammers ordered 2 shish kebabs and got 1 bread and 1 salad and 2 lots of chicken with rice. The kebab shop next door to this is much better don't waste your money on these scammers!

Poor quality and portion of food. First time I ordered food, they left out a naan bread, portion was so small compared to what I paid! The worse is, the quality of the food was VERY poor! Honestly, never had such bad quality, tasteless food from outside! Will never order from there again

Good Kebabish overall. The full chicken and 3 naans for £1 you can't go wrong really. But the kebab roll wasn't the best and the chicken donnar & chips at the KO Seven Kings is much better too, but its like double the price. But still a good option and definitely better than than the KO down the road opposite the Mayfair Banquet venue.

I'd give them 0 stars if I could, these people are so tight with their food it was absolutely embarrassing! If I'm paying the full price for a dish, I expect a full dish, not one third! The food is ok, but needless to say that I will never be going back there again! Avoid like the plague!

Too much expensive and small portions. Be aware they charge extra in total.make sure of you got what you pay for. I ordered first time from Kebabish. Oh my goodness. Wow. The food was hot and spicy and on time and super tasty and actually for the price i paid it was worth the value. I had so much food. I fed 6 people under 40 pounds. My no1 place to get a decent munch from. Thank you to the team who cooked and delivered this 🙌

One of the best pakistani/desi food i have ever tried. Their nihari is so good. Chicken tikka, seekh kebab , biryani everything tastes so good. The staff is very hospitable. Got complimentary gulab jamun as well. Definitely recommended

Awful food, all these positive reviews really, these people probably never been to a decent place to compare the food? The guy in the front was rude had to wait 30 min for my order and what I was told don’t order if you can’t wait. Well tell people about it that it is long wait. I might go elsewhere. Well to be confirmed it was yesterday Saturday evening.

Tried their food today. Excellent service and the Food is worth it. Bbq Grill was worth trying, including lamb curry, fish tikka and lamb chops. Will definitely try other things from menu next time. Highly Recommend this place. Good luck guys👍🏻
