Mayling Chinese in Camden

Said it was open on google at 1530 Sunday called no answer. Turned up at 1600 Sunday not open. Complete waste of time.

Be aware not safe to dine in with children or Elderly as can be isolated with psychos around you picking fights. Hindsight should have went for a meal in Drummond Street with our elderly visitor and my two children under 5. A druggy single male customer launched a verbal attack on us stating I was a gold digger etc and more weird insults about my clothes etc and status. Staff no backbone. Need security services. Had to walk out half eaten meal. Disgrace

Good portions well presented I had special chow mien ,beef in black bean sauce,egg fried rice and chicken sweet and sour Hong Kong style absolutely delicious

Friendly staff member on the phone when we had a question! Chicken chow mien was very nice but the Singapore spicy chicken noodles was very bland unfortunately; got a slight hint of curry powder possibly? But not much flavour. Good prices also. I will order again and give it another try 👍

Found pieces of sharp shell in the special fried noodles. Could of choked. Food was not good quality wont be ordering again :(

I recommend this restaurant 100%. You won't be disappointed, the service and the food are simply amazing. The owner is so friendly and gives excellent recommendations. They're also willing to adapt the dishes to preferences and dietary restrictions. As for the food, is so delicious!!! Aunthentic Chinese flavors. My personal favourites were the BBQ ribs and the fried rice soooo tasty! Definitely I'll go back each time I have the chance!!!

Best asian restaurant in zone 1 for its friendly staff and owner from Hong Kong, affordable price and tasty food. Highly recommend trying it out by taking the Northern line and stop at Mornington Crescent station

I have nothing to say but wow! If you are looking for an amazing resturant with homely service this is the place to go to. Walked in 15 minutes before close and was treated with amazing service. And the food..... Wow un beatable in NW!

Poor quality. Ordered a takeaway and was disappointed by the quality. We ordered the salt and pepper ribs and pork fried rice but both meats were very dry and tasted frozen. The rest of the dish just tasted of MSG. The prices were reasonable however but wished I was able to pay more for better quality

First time trying Mayling and will most definitely return in the future. Ordered chicken chow mein (7/10), beef fried rice (8/10), salt & pepper squid (8/10) & prawn butterfly (7/10). No fancy business or dolled up food just good old Chinese food cooked fresh and proper. Customer service was excellent and food arrived within 10mins of ordering piping hot. Recommend getting a pot of black bean sauce to pour over your chow mein or fried rice as it’s delicious!

Delicious food for takeaway, with variety healthy vegetables in different cuisine. It’s a bit sugary for Chinese, overall highly recommended.

I've been a customer for four years now at Mayling so that should be testament to their food. Delicious, tasty and spicy - getting a good spicy option from South Asian restaurants seems limited so it's definitely a plus point. I've started using their delivery service a lot more recently and always get a prompt service with no issues ( long may that continue). Mayling have a system in place that recognises your number and matches it to your address. If you can upgrade that system to remember the last order that would improve what is already a really good service! Regards and looking forward to hearing.... Is that, Flat 2 - chicken, spring onion, oyster sauce and.....😉

I've been eating at Mayling for a few years now, and would highly recommend to anyone in the area. The Black Bean Curry is my personal favourite. Priced at £7.20 (fantastic), you can add a variety of vegetables for just a few extra quid to have the complete meal. Healthy dinner, good service and reasonable cost. Just make sure you can handle a bit of spice if you go for the Black Bean Curry!

Came across this takeaway on a recent visit to London. The staff were very pleasant and cooked my food exactly as I requested, not too spicy. I had the crispy chilli beef with rice and it was one of the best takeaway dishes I have had. Definitely worth a visit.

Well priced Chinese. I can recommend the salt and pepper squid, crispy beef or Shanghai noodles. Service is friendly and fast.

Food is alright, it’s more a take away restaurant , you can eat in as they do have some tables, not that bad. Had a beef in ginger and spring onion + rice and soft drink £10.50 They are a take away and restaurant, so they are busy doing the take away orders. Rice is descent, staff are nice.

Worse delivery service ever even via ubereats

Ordered food 3 or 4 times from this place and it has been great, I gave it a 4 star rating because their delivery drivers are not always polite and nice which spoils the whole experience. I wish they could do something about it,

One of the worst chinese restaurants I've eaten at. The chicken skewers was squishy and watery. I ordered four dishes and none of them was great.

Basically tastes like a frozen Chinese from Aldi. Then again, good Chinese food is a rarity in London for delivery and this is standard. Bit overpriced if you're by yourself but the potions are fairly big. It's all about location

Tasty food and great portions! The only downside is that quality is sometimes inconsistent. But overall great value for money and definitely recommended

Brought the Tofu Sweet and sour Hong Kong style for takeaway and its terrible, hard and chewy , peppers tasted stale and pineapple was tasteless, I didn't even finish this dish. The delivery driver was also rude and snatched the money out of my hand Overall a disappointment , would have been better of ordering from a fast food restaurant.

A good place for quick cheap eats. A little on the greasy side but it is a traditional Chinese takeaway so it’s what to expect! Staff are friendly.

Authentic Chinese cuisine done hong kong style (and close enough to the south east asian style) Hard to find Chinese food that is not too salty and not too oily! Cheap and cheerful order-at-the-counter takeaway which also doubles as an eat-in canteen. I used to work across the road and frequently hopped in for a quick lunch. Food is served up amazingly fast, and the crispy noodles are the equal of any I've tried in China Town. Be warned- they don't seem to have discovered central heating so eating in during winter can be chilly.
