Such nice food. Fries were crispy and the chicken fillet burger is exceptional for the price. Highly recommend!!

It’s not Spice Hut anymore, Disappointed after travelling a long way .

Went here yesterday thinking it would be a nice spice hut, but i was mistaken. I ordered 6 creamy naga wings with 2 extra wings so it was £6+£2 for the 2 extra wings, i was thinking the wings would be the same size as they need to be. But my 2 extra wings ended up being 1.5 inches long, very small and there was 2 wings that was like this!! Avoid, Wings were cold, they didnt even bother to heat them ! another customer had the same cold problem.

Not the best spice hut due to its extortionate price, otherwise the flavours are good and there are good options, but like I mentioned the prices are way too high

I posted a review last time about the mistake of leaving out vegetables, and I was asked to come back again. I like that the feedback is quick. On my return visit, Sham was at the counter. They treated me kindly and made me a burger again as an apology for my past mistake. As expected, if there are no mistakes, this is the most delicious chicken burger in Camden for the price. It was full of lettuce and it was really delicious :) Past review_ I like the chicken burgers here, so I go here often and get takeout... but there isn't a single piece of lettuce in the two chicken burgers I bought today? This isn't a mistake, I can only see it as not being included on purpose... it's too much.

Worst portion size bad quality food

When I opened my spicy dipped burger box and saw that my spicy dipped burgers filling wasn’t red, I felt like killing myself. I’ve never regretted such a decision in my life and that decision being buying from spice hut Camden. Absolutely atrocious.

I came here yesterday for lunch with my work colleague. We both ordered a smash burger meal 1 double and 1 single. I have to say £22 was a bit steep for these meals considering it’s just a burger. Wasn’t the best and very standard burger with hardly any salad just some onions, lettuce and burger sauce.. chips was fresh but not a good size. I won’t recommend this place unfortunately and won’t be coming back here, the service is shocking never a person in side and they all hang out in the back.

This isn't super busy at lunch time. I kinda like that. Catch up and have a good conversation with my colleague.Burgers are quite nice. Normally go for the chicken supreme burger

Not having one in our local area we had wanted to try a Spice Hut especially the Naga doner We ordered the Naga Doner meal and Sham (Who is a lovey guy, we found out his name later on) asked if we had tried Naga before as it is V Hot, we assured him of our Spice handling credentials as he told us tales of the people that had ordered previously without knowing what naga is whilst we showed him photos of our Kebab spit at home. As I said Sham was such a nice person and his concern over his customers and the food he serves was a nice touch, all in all great service The Naga Doner was Lovely, nicely hot with lots of flavour, it certainly didn’t disappoint (next time I’ll try the hotter one 😊 ) Would recommend and if I'm back in Camden again i will certainly be back

Stuff unbothered to serve ready food

Customer service was good but food was nasty! donner gave me and my friend a belly ace and the wings whats the point selling them that small lol. So tiny and dry i could fit all 4 in one go 😅. 2/10 for me sorry guys

I ordered lamb doner and it was really great. The service was lovely and staff were very friendly and hospitable.

I order two mix Doner kebab and 4 wings and chips for my kids and collected order from them. Their service is not welcoming. Food was disgusting. They gave me 5 wings they are really old and dry. Before I realised it my child had some of it. It tased as if it is rotten. Disgusting people selling this kids of food for money. I go to other spice hut branches . They are not as bed as Camden one. Please do not buy food from them. Disgusting Disgusting Disgusting. They charge me £23 pounds I paid cash so they give me 10% discount and charge me £20.30.

Terrible food. Rice and chicken was covered in horrible tasting sauce. I had to throw it all away. The amount of chicken given is also meagre compared to other places. It was only one chicken strip. Further, the chicken was overcooked and dry. Edit: In relation to the response, I should state it was 1 strip cut up. The branch wad Camden Spice Hut.

Really disappointing that this branch does not do fried wings!! There are other, better branches. Opted for the peri peri wings but was very disappointed to see the bones are very dark in colour - the chicken used is old. Service is amazing and the staff here are friendly. But this is a very average branch.

Farkin amazing place. Best naan I've had, topped with generous portion of tasty lamb doner and salad. Best kebab in Camden by far. Bonus that the Royal Dalton does not take a pounding in the morning.

On arriving to eat here I wasn’t thinking too much about quality of food, it just looked good from the outside and I’ve only being eating at the East London Spice Hut ever so often for the last 20 years. I did notice that they don’t have the same menu, some things like fried wings was not on the Menu like East London shops but they had grilled wings do I thought I’d try that out with their lamb doner meal and creamy Naga doner which is unique to this shop. I ordered three meals plus a portion of grilled wings and after sitting down I decided to check their google reviews. I have a habit for checking negative reviews or low reviews first, I usually find that low reviews offers a more elaborate depth to the overall experience. But after reading the low reviews instantly became worried, because there were mentions about the quality of food and small portion and price being too high. What do I do now? I’ve just brought two relatives of mines to eat here and I want to make sure they enjoy the food and be satisfied. I decided to tell them about the reviews when staff were not present and told them not to expect generous portions and quality may not be as good as the East London shop. I got served the food by a friendly staff and the place was clean and plates and cutlery,,,,, but wait a sec?? How on earth did they just serve me such us a huge portion for each meal? I mean I’m a big eater, I always eat big and I always eat double but this seems like a massive portion of kebab and a generous portion of chips and the wings are Jumbo Wings… I’m looking and thinking, I’m going to struggle finishing this. And then I taste the food, the Creamy Naga was creamy and tasty, perfectly blended and original doner tastes real quality too. So now my relatives are looking at me and saying that the portion is very generous. We ate until we couldn’t eat no more, I ate 2/3 of my kebab but I couldn’t finish it and my relatives did the same. We finished our meal praising the portion, quality and service and then we enjoyed their desert Firni which was incredibly too. Now I understand their price is a couple pound more than East London and this is an average price in Central London, as rent and living cost here is among the highest in London, therefore looking at it from that perspective it’s not expensive food at all. I write this review as a very happy customer who had a fantastic experience on 28th October 2023, after 9pm. Thank you

I had a chicken doner and 6 chicken wings. By far the best chicken doner and wings I’ve had in London. The chicken meat was so fresh and tasty. The meat came off the wing well and also had a kick to it. Service was very good the guys behind the counter were very helpful and nice. I’d 100% recommend trying the chicken doner and wings.

Spice Hut shatkora lamb doner is one of my favourites. Glad I don't have to drive all the way to East London anymore! Clean place, friendly staff and the food hits the spot every time without fail. The only thing I will say is that the drink selection needs improving

Ordered the Naga Wings and Hot Wings with peri-peri Chips! Juicy As the name says "Spice Hut" it truly isn't ! Downhill from original post. Using sub standard ingredients.

I don’t understand why this branch does not sell Fried Hot Wings or Fried Burgers like every other Spice Hut! This is the iconic food and taste for Spice Hut and there is no Orange Chilli Sauce/ Red Sweet Sauce like regular Spice Hut shops. This is quite a shame and disappointing and the prices are higher than normal. Everything tasted so below average. Only gave 2 stars because at least you still sell Doner Meat like normal. Please bring back fried wings and regular foods sold in other Spice Huts! Customers would appreciate. Thanks

I had ordered the Smash Burger and it did not miss to impress. The burger was made well and was not dry. Would definitely recommend. Also ordered the Grand Slam Burger and it was really good. Would recommend if your a fan of turkey bacon. It really hit the spot. Reasonable prices for the amount that you are getting. Great customer service. Will come back and order again!

Really horrible. Burgers are all slop and they don’t follow simple instructions. Surprised they even make business. Honestly suggest people eat elsewhere.

Possibly the best doner wrap I've ever had They've got something going here in Spice hut. I got the creamy naga doner wrap. That thick naan charred and chewy withstanding the donner filled inside. Donner that's been cooked in a sauce thats that good spicy way. Full of flavour but spicy enough to leave a slight numbing feeling. Crispy little chips squeezed down with garlic mayo to bring it all together. From the way the guys spoke about cooking in the back to the food provided, These guys clearly care about the food they're putting out and it shows. Friendly service and a good price compared to some of the other places round Camden.

If I could give 0 stars I would , anyone who’s likes this place has no taste buds. I went in when it wasn’t even busy so can someone explain why my chips came cold lol? Also wings looked like they were sat there for years. Hard & dry. Donner had no flavour.

The food is really good value and we really enjoy having this place to go to after work and unwind with good food. Cannot rate it more.

Ordered a large take away today, the chips tasted disgusting and I couldn’t eat. It seemed like it was cooked in 10 year oil.

Was recommended by a friend to try spice hut, nearest one was Camden so I came. The Naga doner was so nice and the portion was big and tasty. Got two with a friend and we couldn't even finish the first 1, had to take home. The best masala fries I've had in my life. The service was amazing, he was very nice and asked us about our food as well. Cleanliness was not a problem, very clean establishment, very underrated food spot.

I used to order from here loads until one day i had mouldy pitta bread with my doner. I then done some research and saw they only have 2 star hygiene and saw a comment where they needed help with pest infestation which has really put me off ever ordering again. I hope they can sort out the pests and get a 5 star hygiene rating and maybe ill order in the future

Unpleasant Camden fast food venue frequentd by undesirable clientele . Alot of rubbish and grease appears on the footpaths.

This place was awful. I have never had such a bad chicken fillet burger and chips! How can you get it so horribly wrong?! The chips tasted like they’d been fried in ridiculously old oil. Never have experienced that before from any other chicken shops. Even the ketchup and Mayonnaise was rank!! It’s like someone made this food at home, and used cheap old sauces from the cupboard! Sorry but this was horrid. AVOID. Plenty of other shops you can go to! And Spice Hut need to sort out their oil changes and sauces 🤮

Out of the 100s of places i have had doner kebab from, Spice Hut is by far the best i have ever had! The Shatkora lamb kebab was just amazing 10/10 flavour was just perfect. The creamy naga wings was just amazing! The fries was cooked perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Customer service is also 10/10 really friendly staff members, very approachable. I would definitely recommend. Without a doubt this is the best place to get doner from in london!

The worse food I have ever had! As I was actually craving for fried chicken wings, so I ordered chicken wings for my dinner tonight through Uber Eat. The chicken wings were extremely dry, soggy and tasteless. It was actually left over tandoori chicken wings, they just did not want to throw them away, instead they marinated them into fried chicken marination which I have clearly seen and tasted and also It was a size of pigeon wings. Food quality was extremely disgusting and horrible! I’ll not ever order food from Spice Hut Camden.

No garlic sauce,slightly above average quality doner meat no pitta and their idea of salad is a few limp pieces of lettuce with a slice of lemon? fries are ok but not suited to doner more suited to the wings and fried chicken. as they are very skinny and get cold quickly.The burgers are better. service was friendly. Will go again if Archway Kebab run out of meat again. Overall good and finished everything but with a couple of minor tweaks they could improve things further!

Delicious fast food at a very affordable price. Worth trying their double cheeseburger ! Totally recommended

This business is fly tipping all their rubbish inside our estate illegally with no respect for our residents and our space. Arrogant business with no respect for their neighbours. AVOID. Further action will be taken with the council and Veolia.

Tasty food Smash Burger tastes exactly like Chicos in Ilford, Donners are always on point asked for Hot got a Medium i can understand its busy during Iftar but will be back to try there Grill menu if it ever launches.

Ordered a week ago on Thursday via the website and they cancelled the order and still took my money since the workers didn't know how to refund. It's now the following week Friday and it has been over a week and I still haven't received my refund. Will have to call the bank to issue a charge back since they cannot comply! Thieves!

East London spice hut is much better.... deal wise and portion wise... but worth a try...

Portion size no where as big enough as sister branches, can understand the price will be more for location, but not cutting back on the amount served.

Great place, Great service, Great food Ordered Smash burger, best I’ve had in a while (brioche bun , quality meat and out of the ordinary sauces) Naga Lamb chops (so yummy and succulent) How can I fault a Great experience Only downside is I expected salad with the lamb chops but Never got any. They should add that or maybe they forgot. Either way I can’t complain about quality/taste/service would be 4.9 star out of 5!!! You guys did a wonderful job with the decorating and design(felt more like an up scale restaurant, maybe a bit of music for ambience? ) Thank you and see you again soon!!!

As a loyal Mile End Spice hut customer, i was sceptical to eat here. My friend said theres loads of them now lets try this one. We came here, pleasantly surprised with the decor, it was fresh, morden and airy. We ordered our food (naga doner, tasted amazing but underestimated the spice, its not for the faint hearted) We sat down and the area was clean and fresh. We got our food and have to say it was lovely. The wings were really nice, they didn't taste like other hot wings i have had before, they have added something different and it was a real winner. Food was great, arrived within good time and the dining experience was pleasant. I must add, There is something that this spice hut has that the other one doesn't. That is the customer focused service that we received. The guys were polite, passionate about their business, passionate about asking us how the food was. They took pride in what they did and that was amazing. They really made us feel welcome and comfortable. I would have given this place 4*’s but the guys and their demeanour is what gives them the 5*. Keep that customer service vibe that you have guys, thats what sets you apart!!!!!

Brand new spice hut, clean with plesabr staff. Donner was decent but star of the show for me was the smash burger, so good I forgot to take a picture. Definitely worth a visit if local, I'll be returning fir the burger!

I had my first lamb Donner here, the Bengali style and it was delicious. Fresh and juicy. I am always a little worried about the salads but here again it was fresh and the lettuce was crispy. The portion was a great size, how much more can you fit on a plate. The price was very reasonable and on par with other Spice Huts. This is a five star clean restaurant, highly recommend a visit, try the Naga Donner, dare you to!! lol

Last customer there looking for a late night munch a friend told me about this place a while ago, told me about the Smash Burger and got some spice hut donners Boy oh Boy that smash burger was something else had many burgers but didn't expect this from spice hut well done Spice Hut. Are we really doing this? Another Asian inspired chicken shop with RIDICULOUS portion size and prices? Please reflect the price with the portion size given. Stinginess is one of the ugliest traits and hopefully this is the start of your downfall. I want to support Asian businesses a much as I can, but with WHAT reason? So disappointed in the amount of chips/kebab etc given, not to mention.. those creamy wings that I paid extortion for? dry as hell. Those bland over spiced naga wings. When asking for sauce pots, the stinge is TOP TIER. Please everyone, if you have a car, drive to East London, go to Stroudley PFC, or KHF in Mile End. Drop these stingy places.

The food is lush, especially the smash burger.

Portion sizes are hideous for the expensive price you pay. Dont go here unless you have a toddler's appetite. If you do encouter the same problem please do write a review like this so they actually do something about it.

This place is a hit and miss and can’t not mention their re-fried chips. For £7/8 a donner meal you would expect a little more quality from this spice hut considering how busy and well known their counterparts in East London are doing for less than half the price for the same meal. I must say their naga range is lovely but this is defo a spice hut you would go to if you couldn’t be bothered to drive to east. The chips were double fried to an inch of their life. Seeing as it’s not so busy and takes so long to prepare the food, they should consider frying fresh chips for their customers instead of serving up old cold food.
