Maxim House in Wyre

Cooked to quick. I only ever eat sweet n sour chicken cantonese/honk Kong style. This had to be the worse. Cooked in few mins, chicken texture wasn't right, squidgy, not much taste.

Recently had a Take Away from Maxims and the quality of the food was exceptional. I had Beef with Water Chesnuts, Bamboo Shoots and Extra Mushrooms and my wife had House Special Chop Suey and we had chips to share. Huge portions, good prices and friendly service we would highly recommend you try this Takeaway.

ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE. Had a friend send a whole meal back a few weeks back as it was greasy & she wasn’t happy. Which is exactly what customers are entitled to do. I myself decided to place an order this evening as I enjoyed the last meal personally. When I called I heard the receptionist SLAGGING me off in the back ground & refusing to deliver because my friend had returned her meal a few months ago. Appalling as I have used this Chinese for years. Absolutely completely vile way to treat a loyal customer.

My parents have been ordering from here for over 25 years! We’ve never had a bad meal! Tonight was our anniversary and the few extra things on the house made it extra special! We had a really lovely meal- thank you so much Maxim house…

We changed our favourite Chinese away from Maxim House for a time. However we have recently started ordering from Maxim House again and we will definatley not be changing again!!!!! The service, the food and the price all superb!!!!!! We will be back...

I find we usually tend to stick to the same-old, same-old takeaways but for New Years Day thought we'd break that and try somewhere new. Maxim was recommended by a friend and so glad that I broke the mold. The food was ready for collection in 10 mins, plentiful portion ( some left for my lunch today ) and absolutely delicious. Will definitely be calling again

We ordered from maxim when we stayed at cala gran holiday Park. Everything we ordered was lovely,fresh and tasty. Singapore noodles, chicken curry extra hot , salt n chilli chips / chicken ,fried rice and prawn crackers. Portions were great . We thougherly enjoyed our meals and would highly recommend.

Last night ordered the House Special Chop Suey and Salt and Pepper Chicken and chips and both me and my wife thought it was the best Chinese food we had tasted in years either Take Away or Restaurant. Portions were huge and really tasty. Good friendly delivery service and very reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend as we've never had a bad meal from here.

Noodles were crispy asif they was microwaved from the night before. The salt & chilli chips were just chips with chopped up carrot? Food bank serves better

Easy ordering via telephone. Super fast delivery. Paid via debit card when they delivered which was incredibly handy. Beef with mushrooms delicious. Massive portion of chicken fried rice. Lovely prawn toast & dip. Will definitely be visiting again.

Tonight ordered takeaway set meal combo ribs overdone and very small curry very bland and chicken not as shown on menu very disappointing

We have been regular customers for years but have noticed recently our meals are not up to the standard they usually are. We have had two meals recently( chicken in black bean sauce and chicken chow mein) and both times , we couldn’t eat them as they were so extremely salty. Don’t know if they’ve changed their supplier either, but the chicken which was once tender is now tough. A very disappointed Saturday night takeaway!

We’ve moved away from area but as local Chinese have proved disappointing we decided to go little further here and glad we did the food was amazing as always.Keep up good work

My Wife and I regularly have Take aways from here and the food has always been good value tasty and hot. they are very quick on delivery and the staff are really pleasant. Would recommend it especially having tried many others in the area and have not always been happy.Please carry on as you are. .

Very simple menu for a Chinese not complicated nor overpriced and good fast efficient service and great food

Comida fantástica, bien preparado, muy sabroso y con mucha variedad.Comida para llevar que sabe tan bien como un restaurante decente.No tuvimos que esperar mucho y la comida estaba empaquetada.No puedo recomendar lo suficiente.También hacer entrega local en cuanto a cargos ️ Poulton ☺ entrega se aplicaría, pero tengo que decir que sería bien vale la pena!

We regularly have "Take Aways" from Maxim House and have done for several years. The food is great, the staff are pleasant. Can't ask for more can you?

Yo soy un gran fan de Maxims. La comida es fácilmente el más cercano que puedes llegar a la comida cantonesa en esta zona. Mis favoritos son el ajo y chili chili de cerdo, sal y nada (costillas, alitas de pollo), cualquiera de los platos de tallarines arroz/especial y el primer plato mixto. Están hechos a la perfección y en muy buena cantidad. Los precios también son razonables. El propietario, Sarah, y su familia son grandes dueños de negocios y quiere cuidar de sus clientes! Maxims siempre recibirá mi negocio por encima de cualquier otro Chino en llevar Cleveleys. Si nunca lo has probado antes debes Maxims. . No te arrepentirás.

He estado yendo a casa de maxin'& durante años. En el pasado he trabajado mi camino a través de los menú bastante, pero ahora tienden a restringirnos a mis favoritos, me encanta el gambas con cebolla y jengibre, glaseado con miel alitas de pollo, y algunos otros. Red hot, siempre siempre coherente y buena relación calidad-precio.

We order every sat night and it's fabulous would not go anywhere else it's our favourite Chinese 😀😀 well cooked and will always use for our takeaway Well done guys!!

Always very good food and service and reasonable price. The chicken curry is lovely along with salt n chilli chips. Best Chinese takeaway for miles around.

Fast friendly service, very varied menu and excellent ingredients make this my regular chinese take-away..

Had no issues here, service fast, (free prawn crackers while you wait, and a pack given with the meal also ). I like the Singapore noodles. Basic dishes to suit the English taste. Prices reasonable, so OK for a takeaway.Dr Malc

Some food is really bland,the curry is not good at all,but the salt and chilli chicken wings are fab! they are so tasty,the only thing that worrys me about this takeaway is the food is done way to quickly! they offer free prawn crackers whilst you wait.
