Nice coffee. Pastie was very dry as though had been sat under the lamps for a large part of the day - we got there around noon on a Sunday. Tasted nice though.

Very poorly managed and some dodgy practices. Food is very average and fairly expensive. Virtually nothing is priced so you have no idea what anything costs apart from sandwiches and drinks.when buying your food they ask if you would like coleslaw, they don't tell you it's extra and it's almost £1 for a desertspoonful. But there is not much choice here at the Gretna Gateway so they don't have to try too hard.

The staff were extremely friendly. The coffee was excellent. Sadly the food not to my taste. The bacon in the toasty was very fatty, salad covered in loads of dressing.

Baguettes were doughy and tasteless and slapped on a plate after being cut in half with a knife while still wrapped up...paper and cellophane still on them when delivered to the table. Coffee not great either. Very slow service even in mid afternoon. Two stars given just because staff were friendly. Won't be back.

The worst place I’ve ever eaten. On arrival 3 members of staff behind the counter, not one asked what we would like. Eventually a member of staff came out of the kitchen and after repeating my order it was finally taken. There were plenty empty tables not one had been cleaned. I had to return to counter to get serviettes to be rudely asked did I need that many. I replied it was to wipe the table to be rudely told “we have been busy you know “ I didn’t know you had been busy and it was amazing to see 3 of you suddenly go and clean tables. I would not recommend this place to anyone

Service is dreadful when busy. Very disorganised and the cracks show. Would love to organise them. Poor management

Was not happy with sandwiches we had my partner was sick after we left .we found the lettuce was going brown and the bread was hard and out of date .sorry to say we won't be eating there again

Bad attitude from staff. Asked for a toastie which was sitting on counter to be told they were for tomorrow so asked for a ham baguette to be told they were also for tomorrow. Freshly made I think not! Asked for a Pepsi to get offered a Pepsi max and asked if that would do. Decided it was time to leave. Such a shame as last time I was there service was good. I don’t really want to buy sandwiches made the day before when it was only about 3pm and they had freshly made sandwiches sitting in front of me!

Slow to serve,sells stale scones, slow to refund.Just left !

Very nice place to visit but not if you are in a hurry. Took between 15 and 20 mins to get to till and there was only two couples before us. However coffee was brilliant and baked potato with filling and salad scrumptious. Sausage roll looked home made and popular. Need to get service quicker especially when busier or you will lose custom.

The best scone I've ever had! White chocolate and cranberry. Lovely flat bread. Reasonably priced.

Had cappuccino with toasted teacake, delicious, service was excellent and very efficient plus tables kept clean, all in all a lovely place to sit and chill after a days shopping.

Very good hot chocolate. One of the best in area, came hot. Grilled panini and assorted cakes very good. Staff very friendly and one of the few venues that don't do chip's.

It's a coffee shop in a retail outlet centre. Does food, but we only stopped for coffee. It was OK.

Mon.30/7/18 at around 2.35pm. Piping hot lovely coffee which i like & top ups for only £1. Asked for or requested a cheese & onion toasy which was not on the menu & the pleasent woman made one up for each of us along with lettuce, coleslaw & a few crisps which tasted very good. Well worth checking out & u wont be disappointed.

Visiting Gretna Gateway Outlet you should consider Massarella's Coffee Shop for essential break from retail therapy. Pleasant surroundings with good food and drinks. The helpful staff are the icing on the cake.

Extremely nice food, and pleasant friendly staff

Great selection of hot and cold food, while you have to order it at the counter your hot food is delivered to your table. Staff were helpful and polite. Food was great quality and good portions. Would also say that compared to the cafes at each end this was the least busy.

Definitely the worst scone I have ever purchased, or attempted to eat. The trades discrimination act could question if in fact it was a scone. There were pictures of scones in the cafe but what was on offer looked nothing like the pictures. The proof was in the eating, or at least the attempt to eat. Only thing worse than the scone was the assistant's reaction. "I baked it myself this morning". If that was true he was brave admitting it.
