Massala in Milton Keynes

Finding this place is like finding the pot of Gold at the end of the rainbow! I have had Indian takeaway from the Grange on Grange Farm for at least 12 years and I just wasnt enjoying them. My son suggested we try the Massala for a change. WOW! I realised I have been eating bland and boring food all this time, no wonder I wasnt enjoying the meals. Massala has reminded me of what true Indian food is really like and my tastebuds are alive again. I have tried several dishes all of which have been amazing but today I had the Chicken with Garlic and Button mushrooms. blimey! It was astounding! I cannot believe i have been missing out all this time. Dont waste time going elsewhere because this is THE place to go

Just wanted a home delivery tonight and thought we'd try somewhere different. Really tastey, best Indian takeout we've had in a long while. We didn't order anything exotic, just good old lamb pasanda and chicken biriani and it was spot on.

Just took delivery of 30 quids worth of bin filler. Don't bother unless you like onion bahjis the rest of is not worth it

Absolutely shocking service as a family that’s self isolating I thought I would treat us. Waited a hour-fine they r busy during this I get it. First driver absolutely adhered to the social distancing unfortunately it was the wrong order.... I phoned massala to be told oh I’m so sorry it’s a new driver I’ll have a your order cooked fresh and sent out. 15 mins later another driver turned up absolutely disregarded the social distancing regulations with the missing items?!! Not a fresh order......once again I phoned massala to be told well what do you want me to do you have your order just in staggered stages.... I asked for a refund to be told no sorry you paid by card (as per the government advise) we can’t refund card payments.... I’ll send a driver with your cash meanwhile this telephone conversation was going on the delivery driver was very close to my personal space giving me abuse. Do not use at any cost 1 u get the wrong food sent 2 they do not adhere to the current government guidelines regarding social distancing. Finally another driver came with my cash refund and I was forced to take the money from his ungloved potentially unclean Hand!!! And a pound short just to put the icing on the cake!

Great tasty food of a consistent quality. Have ordered three times as yet prompt service with speedy and courteous service. Excellent all round!!

Ordered food for the family as we have done for many time before.Order arrived in good time but two of the dishes we ordered had so much grease floating on the top it was disgusting.Phoned them and they said it has to be cooked in oil and what did we want them to do about it.I understand most things need cooking in oil but we don't want half a bottle floating on top of our meal.They did change it asap but won't be ordering from there again.

Greasy, cold food... pretty tasteless too! I don’t know if the chef has changed as it used to be too notch!

Have ordered from here twice now through just eat. Have to say both times the food was great and arrived piping hot and by a very polite and friendly delivery driver. Great value and good portion sizes. This is my favourite new takeaway restaurant. Thanks Massala

We have used this takeaway for many many years. I think it must have changed hands recently as the time before this we ordered, we said we would collect and when we turned up, the man behind the counter firstly said that there was no order and was not that helpful, then another man arrived to say he was on the way to our house to deliver it and then realised it was a collection !!! So we did get our meal, although the food was not as good as previous times. We thought we would give it another go tonight. I rang to check if there was any deals as stated on the paper menu but there was not. I placed the order online as I have done many times, received a confirmation email and waited. I rang to see when we could expect it as it had been 50 minutes already and then there was great confusion. Nothing found under my address, I offered the online order number but he seemed to not want that, then ask did we order through "just eat" no, online, to cut a very long conversation short, he didn't have my order. So we ended the phonecall with no food. Then we get a phonecall back, he found my order which totalled £18.75 and said at first he would do it for £10 and then quickly changed it to £15 but would still be another 45 mins. Needless to say we haven't bothered. End of an era of ordering from Massala Peartree Bridge. We had already had a drink so cannot go out so have tried another takeaway but will have to wait 45 mins again so 21.30 eta....... disappointed start to the weekend.

I was staying in a nearby hotel so walked round and gave it a try, they were busy with takeaway orders but I did not have to wait to long. It’s a small menu but there some good options and the food was nicely cooked and tasty. It may not be the best indian in england but if you are nearby call in and give it a try

We ordered as i explained how good it has been on past experiences and today i was disappointed. No offer of the extras that is advertised. The poppadoms were poor and not very crispy. I was only saying how good the food was, so i believe a one time bad one has to happen. But not as good as we have had.

Had a really good chicken tikka jalfrezi from here. Great value for money and good customer service. Will definitely use again.

We have been there several times and we appreciated good food and, low prices and very kind people there.

I have ordered from here a couple of times and the food has been average but I refuse to use them any more because the staff are rude and the food doesn't always turn up when it supposed to. Yet another MK business that has forgotten that their only source of money is from customers.

I go to massala everytime it is the best I've never had a bad meal from there and all the staff are welcoming and nice I live close by and I never ever wait to long for my food .the food is worth every penny .keep it up guys.

We have an Indian probably possibly 5 times a year, so we are not regulars by any stretch of the imagination! However, we have received today a fridge magnet and brand new menu from Massala.

I ordered a Chicken tikka masala, plain rice and a garlic naan bread. Very good and hot food. This is a take away restaurant, no sit in places.

Certainly wouldn't order again. Positive delivered within hour ....only just, food barely warm chicken tikka passanda and marsala very bland the passanda was like chicken in cream no flavour. Bombay potatoes also no flavour. Feel like I wasted £30 never again .

Everything Reasonably priced with extra food thrown in if you spend a certain amount, friendly staff taking the order, food ready quickly and really tasty. Took card payments too

Ordered from Massala 22 June 2016 The food was excellent and as we like it spicy. Unfortunately they left our Nan of the order but offered to deliver it immediately. Will use them again.
