Bengal Spice Bletchley in Milton Keynes

Was a regular here until I recently reviewed their 0 hygiene rating and actually feel sick that I have continued to eat from here.

Very good food as usual. Hot and freshly cooked. Not too spicy just right. You could tell the narn had just been cooked.

We’ve ordered food from this place several times. Usually I’d say it was really great but WOW what a decline in standards!!! The food we had this evening was pretty much inedible. It’s like it’s not even the same restaurant any more. Having been a regular here previously, I can safely say I will not be eating here ever again. Genuinely stunned that someone thought it okay to serve the food that I received. DREADFUL!!!!

2 hour wait on take away ! Called multiple times . Apparently their app was down , this wasn’t communicated and no good will given.

The worst Indian food I ever had! The curries were so sweet like dessert. Meat not cooked properly. Biriyani was too oily and tasteless. Not to mention that we found a hair in the food. Very poor quality food, everything was too oily and sweet. The people who gave good reviews for this restaurant obviously have not had good Indian food before. Waste of money. Paneer was so hard and not fresh. Had to throw away most of it. Highly disappointed. Delivery was too fast, like they probably cooked all this in just couple of minutes. Definitely avoid this place

Unfortunately very disappointing. Money badly spent. I had burnt onion bhajis, chewy chicken, raita instead of mint sauce, overcooked naan. Popadoms were good! All in all won’t be ordering again

I tried this takeaway on Saturday night (6 20 pm) and decided to try the Chicken Dhansak, pillau rice and a plain nan. I could see that they were busy doing deliveries however my food came within 15 minutes. The Dhansak was hot and quite tasty however the plain nan was too doughy and luke warm. The pillau rice was ok. Overall I found this to be an average t/away and am not sure if I would revisit.

Best food in Mk! Fast delivery, lovely staff on the phone. Foods amazing every time we order. Glad we Found them and been obsessed with food from them ever since, highly recommend them.

Ordered from just eat arrived fast. Delivery fee high but worth it as only 2 deliver to my area. Very very happy with my order and food is of high quality, especially the fact they offer quorn options. Definitely will be ordering again

Naan was burnt and inedible. Otherwise the food was decent.

I hadn't had any problems from here, then one time they randomly gave me a mild and miserable curry, having ordered a medium / hot. I definately didn't ask for chicken tikka, so no idea what the muppet on the phone was doing, they seemed to speak English well enough. Maybe they don't like people calling, but this was just disappointing

First time we have used the bengal spice in bletchley and I would just like to say a great curry was hot and the delivery man was very nice will be back for more well done to all

This place has quickly become my favourite take away. Food really tasty and hot. Great service and good value for money.

Had a delivery so can't rate service or atmosphere but the food was really good, well spiced and balanced, well cooked and clean, have tried various Indians in area since moving here a year ago, definitely the best we've ttied, 5 star

Brilliant food good delivery service always hot and polite staff

I’ve tried a few different Indian takeaways locally and this could well be my new favourite. Food well seasoned, plenty of variety and well presented. Curry not greasy, as many can be and spicy, as it should be. Bengal naan recommended. Delivery arrives piping hot.

Had the quorn tikka Fantastic vegetarian option Will have again most impressed ,if your looking for a vegetarian curry with quorn then you have to give it go.

Excellent food reasonably priced and not greasy at all. My only feedback is you can't order the Wednesday night banquet through the app pr the website, forces people to go through just eat where it can be problematic.

Ordered 3 types of Briyani. Everything straight to the bin . Horrible food . This what they delivered never even stand next to Briyani. Lamb meat was like a chewing gum not fresh aswell . No correct spices was used . Rice same as instant one from Tesco . Avoid at any costs. £40 landed in the bin . Shame .

Have only ordered via their app for home delivery. I have nothing negative to say. Menu has lots of options Delivery is quick (but not too quick) Notes on delivery are actually paid attention to (I like a creamy curry made Madras hot) Food is great quality Delivered hot and I live out of area.

Ordered for the first time tonight after reading consistant postive reviews. The food was very good, Meats were succulant and the sauces all had very good flavours. Service was also very good. Will be returning customer for sure 🤙🏼

Very very good. I only used this restaurant as I see it was new on just eat. But after ordering. The food turned up really fast and the attention to detail with every dish was outstanding! The roasted garlic in the battered prawns was a really good touch! Just shows that they really care about the food that they are producing. It's soooo good to see a takeaway ensure every dish was on point! They also give us free poppadoms. I thought I was getting my Indian takeaways from the best place in mk but now I'm not sure now I've ordered from here. The only thing I would change is no coconut in the saag paneer. But that's being picky. I would massively recommend getting a meal from here and I'm a very fussy foodie. Carry on doing what you are doing! Great job!

I ordered for the first time yesterday after looking at the reviews. The food was delivered on time and was hot. I ordered lamb sondia curry and bengal nan. Both were very yummy. Lamb sondia was yummy but a little spicy which I like, so if anyone want's a little less spicy better to put a comment when ordering. The bengal naan was yummy but as with any other naan don't keep it for very long eat it hot as soon as possible. will definitely order.

Ordered a take away through Just Eat from this relatively new Indian restaurant. The food was very average. Sadly, I wouldn't order from them again.

Delightful owner who was very courteous. Recommended the lamb Sondia with naan and it tasted excellent. Would highly recommend the dish if you can handle some heat in your curry.

I have had many Indian take aways from various restaurants around Milton Keynes, but none as good as this one. I have often found when ordering take out, it arrives swimming in oil... NOT this one. The food is just amazing, I have had a couple of different lamb dishes and both were delicious. I would highly recommend the Bengal Naan too. First time using this establishment and the food was banging. Good variety of dishes from classics to some I never heard of. Staff were gr8 would recommend to family and friends and will be defo be back for more.

I used to order when it was Blue Coriander and I am delighted the name change has not led to any deterioration in food quality, service or taste. Meal for three last night was delivered 15mins ahead of schedule, hot and delicious. My go to Indian for home delivery.

The food was terrible, the worst I’ve had in a long while. The vegetarian korma looked like mashed potato, and the portions were quite small. The food was freezing cold, despite living a 3 minute drive from the store.

First time using as I've been a long standing customer with a different restaurant. so was hard to try somewhere new, so glad we did, from phone call to delivery the service was perfect, even with how fussy of an eater I am they were more than happy to cater for me, we got the same food we normally get to compare with our usual and I can confirm there food was great, it was that good I over indulged and suffered, every thing came hot, packaged nicely, and tasted just as good if not better than our usual. Thank you will defo order again

Just had our first curry from here and wow!! Genuinely the nicest curry we've ever had delivered! The food was so fragrant, the taste was even better, a real understanding of spices is obvious! With generous portions, the lamb was tender and the vegetables tasted fresh, this is easily now our favourite, superb effort 👌

Even though I haven't finished my meal yet, I felt the urge to leave a review. BARAKALLAHU FIKH! Just by smelling the food, I could tell it was going to be a hit! The portion sizes are remarkable and well-packaged. I choose the Lamb Sondia, the Garlic Nan, the Begun and Potato Bhaji, and the Chicken Tikka Biriyani. Delicious menu items all. Not to mention the helpful customer service.

We went to the opening of Bengal Spice in Bletchley and had a great first experience. The menu has a variety of meals to choose from ranging from mild to hot. The food was delicious and fresh. The staff here were friendly and very welcoming. Our order was prepared & ready quick so we didn’t have to wait long. We will definitely be ordering from here again.

New vibrant Indian Takeaway just on the side street of Bletchley Town Centre at Oliver Road (behind Brunnel Centre/Sainsburys). On placing My order I encountered very friendly service from the front staff; approachable with smiles and clear communication, didn't wait for long at all, food was ready swiftly. Food was delicious and full of flavour, will definitely order again and I highly recommend it for the Indian food lovers.

Fantastic food - especially lamb birtani and onion bhajee

I have lived in Bletchley for 2 years and this is by far the best take away curry I have had. Everything from the service to the food was amazing! It was hot and fresh. The onion bhajis were perfectly cooked. It wasn’t greasy and oily at all. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family.

Amazing food and really quick delivery! On arrival our large bottle of Sprite was missing from the order, the driver was very apologetic and came back within 5 minutes with the bottle and also gave us a complimentary large bottle of Fanta Orange aswell! Would definitely recommend, great service!

Takeaway arrived within 40 mins, we ordered lamb sashlick, dahl, peshwari nan and lamb saag, all delicous!! highly recommend.

Great addition to the area, definitely the best curry in Bletchley and i've done extensive research if you know what I mean. The Biryani was exceptional best i've had in the UK, my partner had Tandoori King Prawn's they where cooked too perfection. Food was delivered on time, piping hot and clearly freshly prepared. 10/10 Highly Recommended.
