Masigo in Islington

We found this en route to a gig in Camden. Absolutely everything we ordered was delicious - we had the sticky chicken, kimchi pancake (oh my god!), chicken dumplings and a beef bulgogi - the only problem was that we ate so much of it that we could barely move for the rest of the evening! Service was amazing and the food exceptional, go if you can!

Best meal I've ever had in my entire life. I've been here twice within a week. Everything is so good. I want to marry this place

Excellent small, local, family restaurant with friendly service and delicious food. They helped us choose and everything was excellent! Always a queue out the door which is well deserved. Well worth the wait and will return. Try it!

Found this amazing little restaurant during our stay in London just round the corner from our hotel. Called in at 7.30pm on a Saturday and managed to get a table. We ordered the Korean bbq with a couple of sides. It was beautiful. The staff were so very friendly. Would definitely recommend

The highlight of this meal was the sundubu jjigae, deeply satisfying with a tasty seafood broth. Rice was very good and so was the fresh kimchi. Service was friendly but not exceptional. The tofu starter was also delicious, complimented by a sweet and tangy sauce. Finally, the table for two was too small for all the dishes and the k bbq this didn’t allow us to fully enjoy our meal.

Small Korean restaurant, came later in the evening and everything tasted perfect and had good portion sizes . Would definitely recommend !

Only had food from here as takeaway (during the pandemic/lockdown) but it was incredible. Great meat options, kimchi, other sides. And good value for money - we had a small feast for not too much expense.

Cheap, delicious and authentic Korean food- best in Angel! Family run restaurant with nice friendly service

We went at a weird time of 1430 on a Saturday. We have wanted to try it since we moved to the area over a year ago. It was completely worth and wait and more. The service was exceptional and the food came so quickly, and so piping hot, so welcoming and the portion so large for starters, that we just got stuck in. And apart from rude, orgasmic sounds that should not be really uttered in polite company, I don't think that we spoke another word to each other until every plate and bowl in front of us were empty. We had the Chicken Mandu, Tukbokki, Kim Mari, Hamuel Pajeon to start. The portions were quite large for starters, but it was not a problem with such delicious food. Then my friend had the spicy beef stew with glass noodles and I had the not spicy one- since we as a rule never order the same things to try as many different things as possible. The stew was clearer and lighter in consistency, they are more what I would think of as broth, and the depth of flavour was most extraordinary. The noodle bowls also came with a little bowl of rice, and again, it proved not to be a problem to finish it all. I am excited to know that such a lovely establishment is so close to me doing such good business- which would mean that they will stay! And I am already looking up the menu for my next visit which hopefully will be in one week's time.

All menu items authentic and good quality with reasonable price. Family run with excellent and friendly service.

Lovely meal with my son. We were tired and hungry but were soon made welcome and enjoyed a delicious meal with Soju to drink. Busy spot with pleasant staff. Good value

The most authentic Korean restaurant I've been to in London! My favourite was the seafood pancake – crispy and fluffy but not too oily. Staff were welcoming and didn't make us feel like we had to leave after finishing. Can't wait to visit again

Really guys five stars? The worst meat I have ever eat in my whole life disgusting. Maybe u go in another restaurant that the one that I go. I don't know how u gave five starts for this disgusting food . sorry

I’m not an expert on Korean food but could tell that the kimchi was fresh and well flavoured. Staff were lovely and welcoming and it was very reasonably priced.

Only my second time in a Korean restaurant. The staff was most helpful and friendly, the place is neat and welcoming and the food is amazing. The smell of the food alone was a treat. As a starter we had "Kim Mari" Rice noodles wrapped in seaweed and deep fried, absolute must. I ordered "Dolst Bibimbap" by mistake as it is a vegetarian dish and I am a carnivore but the waiter laughed and agreed to bring me a plate with beef to add to my delicious rice, egg and vegetables My friend had the "Jeyuk Bokkeum" which is korean spiced (not spicy) stir fried pork with vegetables and rice. Absolutely delicious. They also serve wine and although the choice is limited, it is good and like the food, very reasonably priced. The whole experience was delightful.

I took my 9 year old k-pop obsessed daughter for dinner here. She’s vegetarian and quite discerning. She really wanted to try new things and the japchae dish was something she really wanted to try. BTS like this dish - apparently! She, and I loved the experience and I was delighted to see her enjoy new food. The dishes were lovely. I’ll definitely return and explore further dishes.

We had a very nice lunch at this restaurant. The food is good, the service is good, the place in clean and well kept, plus it is not as expensive as other places you usually find in London. High recommended

Masigo served authentic Korean dishes. The spiciness and quality of the bibimbap is so Korean. I thought the Asian food in London will be towards more westerner; ie less spicy and milky. But Masigo is great! Try it

This place still seems so under the radar but its an unbelievably good korean restaurant with huge portions at a great price. I couldnt recommend it enough! Offer a very good lunch deal too!

My boyfriend and I found this gem near our house! We love to eat Korean cuisine, so we tried different k-restaurants in London. This is the best so far. The food was absolutely amazing and tasty! Highly recommend!!!! Young and friendly staff also! Still awaiting...

This is absolutely the best Korean restaurant in London! Me and my friend ordered 4 dishes including 김밥, 떡볶이, 김치찌개 and 부대찌개. We are just two of us and ordered 4 dishes because we never thought the portions will be this big with this price...

I've been three times to Masigo and every time have walked away a satisfied customer :) Rice dishes, bibimbap and seafood soup were all delicious and the staff and always super friends and welcoming. Bing cash and BYOB whilst they are wwaiting on their licence.

Relatively cheap, and excellent selection on the brunch menu. Can get a huge portion for approx. £7. I had the beef stew, which was so large i couldn't finish it but it was perfect for the cold snowy weather. polite and quick service.

Truly delicious food, with fantastic service, and at a great price. We will absolutely be going there regularly. The Bibimbap was the best I've had in London, and my other half had the Bulgogi, which she wouldn't even share with me. Go and eat there....
