Shocking Never ever again Looks nice and clean staff friendly but food was shocking had a mixed donner that I would not have fed to a pig

Really nice halal food, fresh and delicious. The mixed special platter grill was bursting with flavours and great service too.Highly recommend this place. Next time I’ll be back for the karahi!

First time at masala passed at the morning and smelt the curry cooking so called back for lunch and boy was I glad we did the food and the servers was very friendly. We had a mixture of dishes and shared the them absolutely amazing curry and rice we will certainly pay you a visit on our next trip to blackpool

Tucked on a side street is this indian take away try the chicken tikka melt - chicken tikka in a flattened nan with melted cheese. all food is freshly cooked there is a wait but worth it Also had the chicken tikka with nan

Authentic home made Indian food as well as the kebab side All excellent food Little cafe attached if you want to eat in rather than take away If you like excellent food here is a gem

On visiting the area one weekday afternoon for a very small amount of time, I got off the train at Blackpool north and found this small eatery in one of the streets behind the main seafront. On first glance you could just walk past this unassuming small shopfront but seriously...... You wouldn't want to do that! On going inside the fantastic smell of the food being cooked hits you and the nicest husband and wife run the place who go above and beyond by being so friendly. Quick takeaway order for me consisted of chicken tikka wrapped in a freshly baked naan bread with salad and sauce and boy was it tasty. Will definitely return when I'm in the area again but next time it'll be for a sit down meal instead. Thanks once again from the guy with the 5 hour drive ahead of him (the lady will remember who I am).

Just had to pay Masala a visit on the back of so many food reviews and so glad we did First thing I’ve got to mention is how polite the son who worked the counter was with every single customer The food is cooked by his mother & father and I’ve got to say the Mixed Grill Special which includes Lamb Chops, Seek Kebab, Wings and Herb Chicken layered on a Freshly naked Naan with fresh salad was to die for We also had 2 of their special curries of the day. The rice was a dish I could have eaten alone it was that tasty We made a 100 mile round trip to visit Masala and it was worth every penny because they the owners made the experience even better If your reading this guys thanks for some amazing foods from Craig & Barry See you again soon

Sadly they were out of the original food we wanted to order (it’s Friday lunch time) Apparently they don’t replenish their stocks of food throughout the week. However, what each of us did order was amazing in taste and quantity. Reasonably priced. A constant stream of takeaway orders and people dining in (it’s not a restaurant but more like a cafe) I would certainly go again and recommend to others to try for lunchtime treats. Next time I go will be a Monday

Following recommendations we tried this place out. Initial thoughts that we had walked into a takeaway but we saw 3 or 4 tables. We ordered at the counter and were given a shout when our order was ready. I had a chicken curry and my wife had a chicken tikka. We had a coke each and a portion of chips to share. Fresh, tasty food will for £14! A good idea for a lunchtime great with friendly service.

Masala very near Blackpool Central library was a fantastic day time find. Freshly cooked food to eat in or out prepared whilst you wait. Reasonable prices too.

Went to this establishment as it was recommended to us for its home style cooking. We arrived 4.30 Saturday afternoon and despite there being 3 staff around we stood at the counter and no one paid any attention to us. Finally someone asked what we wanted, and on asking what vegetarian options there were we were told they had nothing.... They make a certain amount and when it runs out they don't make anymore....So be warned, they don't go out of their way to accommodate customers. I wouldn't have left a review as I cannot comment about the food but the guy who dealt with us was so unhelpful and more interested in the football on the TV than us....

Called in by chance and so glad we did the family who run this takeaway are so pleasant and genuine... The food is freshly made and amazing never have I tasted a curry as good .. I also asked for some little cartons of the chutneys oh they were unbelievably so tasty especially the onion chutney.... I live 45 mins from there but guess what I will be going back to buy a few to freeze xxx

What a place this is! Food is so tasty and fresh, everything has amazing flavour. Value for money is great, only downside is it shuts so early!

Family of three ordered the Masala jumbo platter. While waiting for the food to cook they gave us poppadoms and chutney the food is very flavoursome and tasty. Highly recommend to anyone that likes homemade tasty food.

Absolutely amazing, come here at least once a week and I’ve never been disappointed yet, one of the best Indian takeaways in Blackpool by far, the food is authentic Indian and cooked by proper Indians using proper ingredients and expensive meat cuts,one to try would-be the lamb on the bone curry or lamb chops you will not be disappointed, well worth a try

Not too many words to say about this place. brilliant, yummy, fantastic and please could you open later. Best food I’ve had in ages. And the bonus on top is that the wife loves it too.

This restaurant is amazing. All the food is prepared freshly and to such a high standard. I can’t speak highly enough about it. The portions are generous but really good value for money. Never had a bad meal from here and the owners are also really friendly. Highly recommend. It doesn’t get the praise is deserves!!!!!! (Also wish is was open abit later so we could go at night!!!)

Perfect food, whatever these guys marinade their chicken, lamb & kebab meat in is just perfect! Really friendly owners too. Would more than highly recommend!

Eaten here many times, and when it was Spice Lounge. Food is always fresh, tasty and you know that it’s got that family recipe feel when you receive it. As good a curry that you will get in Manchester or Bradford (I have eaten many!). Highly recommended. Very generous portions for the price.

This Indian takeaway is the original Spice lounge that was on 3 Birley Street in Blackpool for the ones who knew it. It is even better then before. The food is of an exceptional quality and value and well worth a visit if you like authentic Indian curries and starters. And the owners who are the chefs in the same time are very friendly and kind. Me and my family visit this place EVERY time we are visiting Blackpool.
