Masala in Havering

We ordered the Tuesday special but upsized to get the house specialties. Food was excellent as was the service. The waiter spent time explaining the menu ad offering suggestions and being a Tuesday and early in the evening the owner spent some time talking to us and giving a bit of history. I highly recommend this as one of the best I have been to in quite a while.

Ordered a takeaway this evening. The chicken madras, tandoori king prawn jalfrezi, samosas, rice, onion bhaji, bombay potato, naan bread, partha, garlic chili lamb bhuna, chicken tikka were all perfectly cooked, delicious and hot. Worst customer service ever. Old man was very rude. I asked him for recommendations but seemed like he didn’t even want to take my order. The way the old man was speaking was soo rude. Wish I could give it 0 stars for customer service. Will never be returning.

Wonderful food. Had a butter tikka chicken korma, pilau rice and keema nan bread. 5 star

Had dinner here for my dad’s birthday in December and never again would I eat in there, restaurant was cold, service slow and it was empty! was like we were a problem being there, food very poor and not cheap!
