Great independent pub, closest to co op arena and large for the arena/events. Staff very welcoming and a great pint! If you going to a gig or the football, it’s a must stop across the road!

Parked at Mary D’s last night for an event at Co-Op live. We travelled from Hull and traffic around the arena/stadium had been a nightmare so a couple of friendly faces were a welcome sight. Really helpful and very secure parking. Honest Johnny even lent us an umbrella as we’d forgotten to bring coats. Lovely guy 😊 Thank you!

Fantastic Pitstop for our trip to the Arena. Cheap secure parking, and they let us use the chippy attached to the Bar infact the chippy delivered the meal to our table.

Great bar went to watch England match while wife and daughter at coop arena for Liam G concert . U can go to chippy next door and take food in. Fantastic atmosphere. Very friendly staff.

A good old fashioned proper spit and sawdust pub with loads atmosphere and character. Shame they served pints in plastic cups but I understand why!

Really great local pub, used the parking to go to Co Op Arena, close to the venue and manned all evening to keep cars safe. Drinks reasonably priced and really friendly staff. Huge bonus being able to bring food in from the chippy next door🙌🏼🙌🏼will be coming again

Only place to go before a concert at new Co-Op live arena, it's a 8 min walk away. Drinks all served in plastic around £4-£5 per drink. Food from chippy next door can be consumed in the pub too

We ended up here when visiting the coop arena for Take That and because the place we’d booked we couldn’t find… the guy on the car park was so helpful and friendly and parking was just £10 and close to the venue (cannot get closer really). The same guy was on the gate when we returned so it was safe. Could use the toilets at the venue too which is perfect and the toilets were spotless! Highly recommend.

This is THE Man City supporters bar after the game. It is one of a kind. It gives off a community center vibe but you can tell generations of fans have come through here. It's authentic and the people there are fun and authentic. We had a drink and then chatted. Check it out. It's a proper supports bar.

If you're a City fan then on match days ghis is the place to be. Atmosphere is electric. Staff are brilliant and the dj really gets you in the mood. Love it

Mary D’s is the place to go before a match. Go in the back room if you want a sing song with the DJ and have some banter. The lounge is also very comfortable if you want a sit down. One of the best things about the venue is that they allow you to take food into the premises to eat whilst you have a drink. I also recommend the souvenir shop near the toilets, where you can buy pin badges, hats, scarves etc.

Bar staff was un welcoming unfriendly. Didn't want to be there. Also scoffing a pie behind the bar. Each time I went to bar she was sat down with a couple. She had T shirt saying here to Help? Which she didn't. I won't be going back

Always been on match day and it is always rammed full. Not been when there is no mcfc game on. Very good night there.

Although it has a great atmosphere, extremely friendly people it was extremely disappointing today go travel all the way there pay £10 to park and then after a few drinks find out at kickoff they are not showing the match. Premier league Cup final. Its supposed to be a city pub and right next to the ground. A lot of people who were running around trying to find somewhere to watch the match

It's a JW Lee's bar if you want to go have a pint. However the price went up from £3 a pint to £4. In the same afternoon ???

Enjoyed it in here, no frills pre-match drink up. Clearly has a bit of history judging by the old photos on the walls. Would go again!

Best place to enjoy a pint before the game, back room is always rocking and gets your vocals in perfect tune for the terraces and they certainly know how to serve beer super quick.
