Amazing food, with brilliant & friendly staff. Me & my partner had Chicken Shish, which was lovely. Also we got a complimentary dessert to try, again was amazing. Would highly recommend and will be visiting again.

A DISGRACE!!!!! we waited 2 hours for our dinner which is absolutely appalling. the chef didnt seem to care and waitresses were not helpful. everyone else in teh restaurant( 2 other familys) also complained which is beyond a joke. the chef told us that it was very busy tonight but there wasnt even anyone else in the restaurant which is ridiculous. we had a whole evening planned out for us which we didnt get to do due to the food delay . NEVER COME HERE UNLESS U WANT TO WASTE UR MONEY!!!!🤬🤬🤬when we tried to speak to the waiters they ran away from us which is very unprofessional. extremely disappointed and disrespectful. i just wanted a nice dinner with my family. my daughter is traumatised and might have to consider therapy.

Came here with family on a Saturday early evening. Surprised that the restaurant had changed its name and now was a Mediterranean Restaurant. But it was a very good surprise. A great choice of dishes. Lots of lamb dishes as well which was nice to see. Although, it was pretty quiet for a Saturday (only us in), the food was incredible. We inhaled it honestly beautiful. The waitress was friendly but needed a bit of training. Nothing that can’t be learnt but overall a beautiful restaurant even nicer now since the change. I think it does need better advertisement though as still named Martinos on many social platforms incl Google and here. I would definitely recommend, fairly priced as well.

We came here expecting an Italian, so were a little shocked to find it had changed hands and become a Mediterranean restaurant The menu had lots of options, and were really pleased with our food We came midweek and it was very quiet so got a very personal service with the owner A very friendly chap, I will certainly be returning in the future

I booked a table for four on Saturday morning We arrived on time and there was a table of 12 already in the restaurant, the waitress brought the menus and took a drinks order the drinks arrived swiftly and we ordered our food. The starters arrived we had a hot mezi for three and a bruschetta all the starters arrived swiftly and where fantastic, we then waited about an hour for the main course which although was very nice some of the food was only Luke warm. We tried to order more drinks only to be told they only had one beer left Efes and had run out off all the other beers. The waitresses where a credit to the establishment. Unfortunately the wait for the main course was unacceptable Sorry but we will not be coming back

Only go if your patient! Table next to us (12) people waited two hours for mains. Not happy. We had starters really quickly but the mains took about an hour. The food was lovely some not so hot but tasted great. They ran out of bottled beers during our meal. There were only the table of 12 and us 4 and they ran out of beer!!! The staff were lovely but couldn’t help the delays. We will not go again. A shame really cos the food was realty nice

We visited for dinner after not being for a while. It is now under new ownership. The food was delicious and the new owner, Yuko was so friendly. He previously ran The Stuffed Olive in Chesterfield so the menu is a combination of Greek, Turkish and Italian. Everything freshly made to order. Highly recommend a visit for a lovely dining experience.

Booked over the phone for a family meal, we went about 5 weeks ago on a Sunday and it was lovely so thought we’d go again, first of all after we’d ordered our drinks we asked if it was still half price pizza and pasta and was told NO it’s now a Turkish restaurant and has been took over but he never bothered telling us on the phone when booking and again the day before when I changed the amount of people who were coming or I’d have cancelled then if I’d known!! We stayed just because we were there food was ok but when the bill came out we were charged for an extra beer that we had to ask for again cos she never brought it out with the rest, the manager was very rude about it, the waitress didn’t really have a clue what she was doing, with the kids meal they didn’t bring a drink out with it but charged full price. Can understand why it was empty once we left and we for certain won’t be going again!!!

I visited this restaurant on Thursday for a family meal and I ordered Pasticcio al Forno a pasta dish with penne pasta and chicken. I can honestly say it was the worst main meal I have ever eaten in any Italian restaurant. It cost £14.95 and it was absolutely tasteless. It was basically boiled pasta with a bit of melted cheese over the top. The meal for the family cost £90 and I was disgusted by the amount of money that we spent on such a poor quality meal.

Really disappointing meal out with family. Baked chicken pasta dish was tasteless, basically just plain boiled pasta with the occasional piece of bland chicken with grated cheese on top. Pizzas very ordinary, bases tasted like shop bought pre-made ones.

Had a really lovely evening tonight Service was fantastic the staff were lovely. Food was very good and good value for money. Will definitely be visiting again

Just arrived home after an excellent meal . Service staff n food were fabulous .Starter and main course delicious .Mushroom soup and calzone perfect and very tasty . Staff very friendly

This was our first visit but it will not be our last. The service was good, we did not wait for drinks. The young waitresses were polite and professional. Our food was very good, 4 of us dining, we had both starters and mains. We dine out regularly and we did not have any complaints at this establishment. We will be returning.

We came here as a large party for a birthday meal. Full oh high expectations, we were sorely disappointed. The lighting is so poor you needed your mobile phone torch to read the menu. Ordering drinks was a nightmare, one member of the party waited an hour for her drink. They missed off starters on the order, brought a wrong starter, and burnt the requested medium rare steak to the point it was black. When advised about the steak, the owner came out and was very rude, argumentative and condescending - referring to me as "darling" The bill was another nightmare, they didn't take off the steak, nor the 70 pound deposit paid. The excuse was a staff shortage, yet there were 5 waitress gossiping at the bar for most of the night. This is huge disappointment and we certainly will not go again

Just been to Martinos for the second time. Fantastic tasty food served by an exceptional Turkish host. Can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. The restaurant is spotlessly clean, decorated to a very high standard and the food is absolutely delightful. Can’t wait to visit again.

Friendly greeting. Restaurant immaculately clean. Food was amazing, red hot, fresh and extremely fast. Portions generous. Two courses more than enough so no room for dessert but will definitely try main and sweet next time. Waiter very attentive but not intrusive. Will definitely be back.
