I would not normally visit or rate a wine bar being a real ale drinker but Boothroyd noticed they had one handpump serving Goose Eye Brewery Chinook. For my wine drinking better half it was heaven. Asked for a dry rosé and offered sampler. She was thus very happy and so was Booth and I. Entry via a fire door so we were a little confused as to how to get in,..but you can get there through the well stocked shop. Pleasant airey interior. They offer Spanish tapas style food to go with the large wine selection...and a good Port selection. In the last three weeks we have been to Banbury, Bicester and Bingley. Bingley wins easily. Nice hidden snug behind the bar..home to the accessible toilet.

Great choice of wines to suit all tastes plus beers,cider and Gin.

The food platter (jamón serrano) was very nice and big portion. We also enjoyed the drinks and Mila Lee’s jazz music!

Solid place. Amazing venue. Staff are always welcoming and chatty, and they serve a wonderful pint of Chinook.

Of the rounds of drinks we had in Bingley last night this was the most expensive by far; £20 for 2 pints of beer, half lager and a glass of red.

What an amazing wine bar! We visited after having a meal in Bingley. You walk into a dimly lit room which I felt was perfect for a wintery evening. The gin I had was delicious and the red wine that they chose for me was perfect! We also bought a bottle of wine from the shop (just a door away) which we're saving for Christmas. We'll definitely be visiting again.

Busy little wine bar and shop. Excellent selection of wines and a couple of decent beers on draft as well as a well stocked beer fridge. The shop is a treasure trove of wine and beers. Food is tapas and everything I have tried so far has been nice. Atmosphere is buzzy, without being too loud. Highly recommend this bar.

Brilliant place for a Wednesday night! Popped in to catch up with a few friends and it was the perfect place for that. We had some great gins & wines, followed by a brilliant coffee & churros. Brilliant atmosphere and the live music was great as well, would really recommend.

Nice little wine bar, funky decor and a good size for a small party. Convenient location and plenty of street parking as well as a very reasonably priced parking lot over the road.

Enjoyed my visit here with my wife. Had couple of glasses of an excellent Primitivo and booked in for next week's cheese and wine evening.

We've always enjoyed getting our wine from Martinez - they're a class act, with helpful staff, an amazing selection of wines, and during the lockdown, a terrific delivery service. This time, to our amazement, we've got double the quantity we ordered, for the same price! What a reward! We certainly won't be going anywhere else for our booze. They've got plans for other offers in the pipeline, so keep an eye out. Highly recommended!

Recently discovered this gem of this wine bar, tapas bar and shop. Wine selection simply outstanding, particularly enjoyed sampling the finer wines served by the glass, served by highly knowledgeable and personable staff. Tapas simple and delicious accompaniment to the wine. The shop is extensively stocked, free local delivery service on offer as well. Would 100% recommend this establishment to anyone who is a fan of wine 🍷

Tremendous range. Knowledgeable friendly helpful staff. Plus some of the products are available to sample in the bar next door. This is not for everyday wines. This is for special wines and spirits and you are never disappointed. The prices reflect the quality. Use the staff because they really know what they are talking about

Amazing customer service. I had no idea what I wanted. I went in just knowing I wanted a decent bottle of wine 😂 the guy there (didn't get his name) was very friendly, chatty and knowledgable. And now I have a very nice bottle of rosé for the weekend! I'm sure I shall be back. Thank you!

Nice place for a few drinks with friends. Quiet enough to talk. Friendly professional stag. £11.60 for 2 fancy/nice lagers and a medium glass of a nice sauvignon blanc. Good decor- bare bricks and chalk boards type stuff. Excellent wines. Food smelled good but I didn't eat there.

Just had cold tapas for two and bottle of wine the wife is usually very picky but even she was impressed and had a try of all of it very impressed and very nice.

A huge selection of wines....with helpful and knowledgeable staff to pick one that fits your mood. A real fire sets a beautiful mood, especially with Christmas approaching- really warming and great lighting. They also served tapas here which was some of best I've ever had. Overall a chilled and relaxed vibe perfect for friends and family weather you're ducking in for a quick drink or dress up for a night out.
