Good to see this Sam Smith's pub has reopened and not been spoilt. Its been refurbished but not been turned into one of those soulless open planned pubs that are becoming more common. Good beer and lager. Ample free parking and beer garden,Shame dogs aren't allowed inside.

Just refurbished but not great. Outdated look and feel and only Sam Smith's ale's. Can't see this staying open for long unfortunately. The brewery have failed to move with the times

I had another love-in at the MquisG yesterday with a fellow SamSmith nut. It was a freezing cold afternoon, the fire was roaring, the boss was welcoming and chatty. The pub was fairly busy and the atmos was great (no kids, no dogs (beer garden ok), no tv, no music, and no slots). The beer was delicious with the best quality/price numbers in the area ..... if not the world.

Called in here yesterday as its a Sam Smiths pub (love the beer). The service was second to none and the beer, as usual was perfect. To me, this is a proper pub and I highly recommend a visit.

It's been closed for over a year now. They have just finished a refurbishment but it's still borded up months later. Maybe they can't find anyone to run it?

Cheap drinks. £2.08 a pint. Good classic pub. Good beer garden out the back. Spacious inside with a few draughts on tap. Quick service. Unfortunately no contactless so bring cash. Locals are nice and dog friendly in the beer garden. Huge car park out the back.

Disappointed My vegetarian curry was mainly carrots and sprouts never had sprouts in a curry before. No spices very bland. Vegetable bhuna a very disappointing dish. I must say the chips were good The lamb madras was short of meat but the rice was ok . I hadn’t visited in a while because last time the sag aloo was my main dish and it was disappointing also. How ever before these visits we use to really enjoy our food here , don’t know what has happened ?

Fav pizza place. The reason it had 2 stars is because menu says it's closed Monday, they stated they were open Tuesday, placed order online, took money, for them not to even be open, the website stated they were open and taking orders. So have to wait for refund going in

A good takeaway other than unruly juveniles running about outside. Not the fault of the owners. Doesn't take cards. Cash only which is outdated and inconvenient.
