Fabulous dinner last night, we had two types of hummus it was so good. The salad was to die for then the chicken kabobs were so good, so much food . The chef sent us a new flavor hummus to try, so wonderful. Also the wine the waiter suggest complemented the food. I highly recommend this restaurant, it’s very popular so you might need a reservation on the weekend.

What can I say, not out first time here. We’ve eaten in all of them on ‘the maroosh corner’ and it never fails us. I’d go to the more cafe style place, same food less stuffy and better price point. Fantastic, cheers

I regularly go to this restaurant. The food is clean not all mucked up. The grilled chicken is great. The appetizers are excellent. You should go if you want well prepared clean food.

This Lebanese restaurant is fabulous! The fire burning on two sides of the entrance is welcoming from the cold streets of London. We had to wait for table but it was well worth it. It is located adjacent to Debenhams on oxford street and serves amazing food. We ordered an open shawarma, sheesh kebab & humus with pita. My toddler who hadnt been eating much on our holiday simply loved the meat which was soo flavourful. A definite visit if you enjoy Lebanese cuisine.

Generally good and reliable like the rest of the chain; they did try and fob us off with some substandard food that had been sitting around last time we went - but were very much aware of it and changed it swiftly. but that doesn't excuse trying to fob off poor quality food on your customers! apart from that, a generally good and reliable place!

The food is delicious, fresh and very reasonable but the best part was the enthusiastic table service provided by Ricardo. He even brought us multiple rounds of delicious baklava and fruits free of charge at the end of the meal.

The restaurant was nice but lots of things were just overpriced .When you compare to the Turkish restaurnts, you get much more there for what you pay then what you would get in the Lebanese restaurants. The portions are tiny and it was OK but will stick with the Turkish restaurants in future.

We were staying in a nearby hotel and had intended to eat in the restaurant. Unfortunately our sone was feeling unwell so we decided to stay at the hotel and rest but to order take away instead. The hotel was a 5 minute walk from the restaurant so I ordered in person and waited whilst the food was cooked. The restaurant is clearly very popular and was extremely busy. During the 15 minutes I waited for my food at least 20 takeaway orders were processed. The system in place at the restaurant seemed a little chaotic at times - but credit to the staff, they seemed to know exactly what they were doing even if no-one else could be confident that they did!We ordered Houmous, Tabboleh, Vine leave, Mixed grill, Lamb cutlets and rice and bread. The food was absolutely delicious. We ate it back at our suite in the hotel and even after a 5 minute walk back the food was still hot, fresh and succulent.

Went to the Edgware Road restaurant for lunch with my wife on her birthday. Food average, staff sullen, service poor. Worst of all was the Green side salad we ordered, it was full of grit, when we informed the staff, they took it away, gave it a perfunctory rinse and brought it back to us with the salad dripping water and grit visible in the bottom of the plate! We showed it to the staff who shrugged and said, "it is fresh salad" and walked away from us to continue their chatting; we were the only people in the restaurant!!

Have been here twice. First with colleagues (8 of us) which was fine as the manager said he will bring a bit of everything for us and we did enjoy tasting everything and there was enough food for us all. Cannot comment re. service or price as I don't remember much about it due to being in a large group and having drinks. Second time was with my brother visiting in London. The seating was not great (by the door) but we did not complain and thought food will be worth it. Food was ok. Not great. Service was too snoby for our liking. We just wanted some delicious food and left quite disappointed actually after paying a big price too. Being of turkish heritage and our food being quite similar, i can definitely say i know at least 10 turkish restaurants that will deliver better service and food for approx half the price. Since then i have also visited other independent lebanese restuarants and found the same. Due to their location i think the aura in the restaurant is quite tense. For example the waitress will smile and say yes i can bring more bread but can tell it is not genuine its almost like we are bothering her. Place was not extremely busy either and my original order was not in stock which wasn't a good start but hey i will say you can give it a go but don't scream about it (like i did to my brother) as you may leave disappointed. Or better yet support other independent lebanese restaraunts where you receive yummy food which tastes like love was put into the food, the way it should be :)

Whenever you're in Central London/ Knightsbridge look for the Maroosh restaurants for their authentic and tasty Lebanese food which is served with simplicity and without much of a wait. The best is at the end when they serve you baklava as a complimentary dessert.

This is nice to look at, the only food I've had is the chicken shwarma with salad and I like them both.A bit pricey so you end up thinking twice before ordering anything else. You also have a restriction of where you can sit and what you can order - you can't sit in the posh area and order a shwarma!

Both my daughter and I were starving so we found it right in front of us. We went in and no one greeted us. So we went downstairs and one guy came to us and showed us to our table. We sat there for 30 min with no one coming to give us a menu or ask us for drinks. I had to tell one of the waitress who were just walking around or just chatting with each other can someone give us a menu or take our drinks order. Finally a very laid back waitress comes over with the menu and takes our drinks order. After 10 min she came for the food order and then another 10 min to tell me that they are out of my order!! I ordered something else and told her make sure there is no Gluten in there ( that's mean do not add pita bread to it) my food comes out with a bread on top of it. I told the guy who brought it over please take it back and bring to me a new order with no pita bread as I cannot have gluten. He says okay and within a min he is back. I told him is this is new order and his respond was no we just took the pita out. I told him this will make me sick I cannot eat it. He just stood there looking at me and then said well they did not cook it with the pita they just throw it on top. I told him I am starving and I need to eat and this is going to make me so sick of I eat it. Again he repeated him self. I end up removing the top part of the shawarma so I can eat the bottom that did not touch the pita. I still got some of the gluten cuz the coming few days were not fun. We took the rest of the food to go and I hand it out to the first homeless man I saw on my way. I will never ever go back there and will never advice anyone to go there. Oh yeah and they weren't busy to say oh yeah there is a reason to why all of this happened. There was two table upstairs and 3 tables downstairs including us. So 5 tables and 7-8 waitress downstairs doing nothing but chatting with each other and they are so chill as if they were high.

Stayed in a hotel nearby and stumbled upon this cafe/restaurant. Food was delicious and fresh tasting. Judging by the number of people apparently calling in after work to collect meals to go, it's a great favourite locally. Not licensed, but even I can manage an hour without a drink. I didn't ask if you can BYO so you might want to check, if that is important for you.

Anytime I'm with "can't miss" distance of Maroush (at Harrods) I pop in and get a Chicken Shawarma for takeaway. I can't speak to other dishes but being a self proclaimed Shawarma fanatic I can say Maroush makes a totally delicious one. Grab it and go!

We were walking to Knightsbridge tube stop and just stumbled onto Jak's. What a pleasant surprise! The service was top notch. They really made you feel special. We only had coffee and a fruit mix with yogurt but it was really good. The atmosphere was laid back and the interior was interesting. They sold a number of items besides the food and drink. I suspect a lot of locals visit here. A bit off the beaten path, but I think it worth a stop.
