Marmaris Takeaway in Chesterfield

Been using marmaris for a few years now but the last 6 months I have ordered have gotten worse hoping they would get better but haven't unfortunately. I'm sorry to say i have made better myself so will continue to make our own from now and save £22

The food never even arrived. I was able to place an order, was charged for it, but it never even turned up. When I called the takeaway it was closed and they never bothered to contact me. Very poor service.

Went in and Ordered a pizza , took it home and best pizza ever 😋

Ordered the meal deal 4 for me and my partner through Just Eat, and it asked an option to pick a sauce for my burger, but no option for NO Sauce, my partner wanted garlic mayo for her pizza so we selected that sauce and left a comment on the order for the sauce to be in a separate pot and not on the burger. (as I am allergic to that sauce) and put the comment in block capitals. The order came, and the sauce was on the burger. But I am allergic to garlic mayo sauce. So I rang the takeaway up, and told them and they said “we will get a replacement too you at some point tonight” which is not good enough. If I hadn’t of checked the burger and just ate into it. Then the worst case senario is that I could’ve been hospitalised and they didn’t care. Complained through the app to get my money back. This is the second time this happened as this happened months ago when we last ordered from here, but with a different sauce thankfully. Big believer in second chances which is why we ordered from here. NEVER again. Tell your staff to learn how to read and check all orders properly before they go out. Before the worse happens to another customer.

I would have liked my veg kebab to have been cooked on a bbq griddle. I am not sure how it cooked. I don't understand the thing with putting fries and onion rings in the kebab. It costs the same if left out. I think I had Tuminose in my mind as a benchmark. Bbq veg, salad in a pitta and then the veg with chilli sauce! Oh well!

Worst food ever had reheated chips tasteless kebab meat smothered in sauce wanted a pot not a pile on my food. Garlic bread tastes strange, salad slimy going off. Chicken meat was ok but will never be going again

Waited and hour, food came but order was wrong, the chips tastes like there were reheated and the kebab meat was dry

Had a mixed kebab delivered. Good was really nice and delivery on time as promised. Really good and will definitely use again.

First time ordering, staff seem nice but despite placing the order 1.5hrs in advance (usual waiting time apparently 45mins), the delivery was almost an hour late and the food itself was just ok. £25 for an alright pizza and kabab, but they added a bottle of drink to compensate. Was not worth the wait, hoping to see improvements as i think this is a newer business

Ordered 2 pizza on line. Only one delivered. Despite proof of order they refused to accept responsibility. £20 paid for one below par pizza.

Our first time here after seeing a review,we'll it was great value for money the portion sizes were amazing as there were four of us and more than enough for the guys, food EXCELLENT well cooked the shoe box Kebab was outstanding quality ,the spicy mushrooms yummy,the spicy chicken pizza yummy will definitely be back 😋 xx

Ordered a shoebox and the meat was fresh and tasty and seasoned just right, enough for 2-3 people easy

Easy and straightforward website with easy to order from the drop-down menu. Good variety of food to choose at a very reasonable price. I've not had a single problem with the food over the years. Food is ready for collection quickly. Never wait too long for delivery. Food is always piping hot on arrival

I spent 19.84 on Uber eats 21 without my Uber subscription 2 hours ago my order was accepted not a large order but one thing for 3 people and a sauce nothing crazy….. I have had no communication from them the order says it’s out for delivery but it is now almost an hour late the place is closed and I rang the line 8 times and even rang before closing with no answer and voice mail either!!!!!! I will not be marking that I have my order when I don’t and I will be calling for a refund as soon as you open and going to Uber with this to!!!!!! This is beyond a joke it’s the only time I have had an issue ordering from you and I’m honestly never ordering again…!!!!!!!!

Local takeaway: I have not tried anything other than the kebabs, which are normal. It would be interesting to try the pizza. Delivery is £2, always seems busy.

Second time ordering shish kebabs from these guys yesterday. Great food - large portions and very tasty. Excellent customer service too, and delivery was bang on time. Not the cheapest, but you get your money's worth. Highly recommend!

I ordered food from here yesterday and I haven't received it and when I call to find out about a refund and I been told it got delivered but it haven't. So I called again about a refund and the manager said a message from the delivery driver that the people that got the food where drunk I don't drink coz I trama and they are refusing to refund my £21 for the food that I haven't received. PEOPLE STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE COZ U MIGHT GET SCAMED LIKE ME PLEASE WHACH OUT.

We Have used you guys for years....got an up to date menu apparently...was £4 more than we were expecting....and the portions? Was that really a ten inch pizza? Did you put it in the tumble dryer before delivery....and the donner meat and chips....much smaller... used to have it for breakfast too. Always share chips with the hubby...none for breakfast... none for me!!! Tasted lovely ... but comon guys!!!

Very disappointed. I have ordered from here many times with no issues. Today however, I ordered as usual and after waiting over an hour I received a phone call from Leicester which then left a voicemail to say the store has closed, my order has been cancelled and I will receive my refund in 3 days time. Safe to say I will not be ordering from here again.

ordered earlier and order took over an hour to arrive and instead of getting 3 pieces of chicken , I got some hot chicken wings and something that looked unidentifiable !! such a shame . not happy at all .ps food was cold as well.

Lovely sometimes they can forget stuff but they are brilliant in fixing the issue they also do amazing chips, cheese and bolognase my go to take away never fails ❤️

Just took delivery of our Pizzas and although good tasty food I will not order again as delivery driver unable to follow simple instructions I left on Just Eat page so I can't tolerate incompetence . Shame

Bought my nephew's pizza from here. Was happy with the food & staff were friendly.

The worse in town they're very rude while i talk to them about my order that was late an hour and then cancelled my order after .....

Placed last minute order before close and received the worse take away I've had. The burger was terrible The pizza Blantely wasnt cooked I cant believe they actually let it go out like that. Picked it up everything just fell off of it. To late to order from anywhere else now as well! Tried to call 3 times and they ignored it probably expected my complaint! will be getting a full refund.

Ordered a takeaway for my family. Ordered quite early 3pm came at 6pm while waiting takeaway I could of flown to Italy and back and got my self an authentic pizza but that’s not my issue the issue is I ordered a chicken burger selected no sauce chicken burger came and it was smothered in garlic mayo I don’t know what world the chef must been living in but how can you mix up no sauce and garlic mayo completely different words. Genuinely who’s being employed

Lovely food all the time I made a mistake with my order online completely my fault and the gentleman was very understanding yet still offered to exchange my food even though it was my fault. Great team keep it up !!!

Food came very late some of it cold not very nice and when I wrung upto see how long all I got was its on its way we very busy well there will be less busy from me from now on discusting

Food turned up late, food turned up cold. Asked for burger with no salad and garlic mayo, turned up with no garlic mayo and salad so obviously don't read the orders properly. Also gave me the runs, won't be ordering again.

Did not get complete order but was compensated with no trouble and the food that did come was very nice, first time using Marmaris and despite hiccup will be using again👍

We have tried many places in Chesterfield for Kebabs and this is by far the best.... I have started having the mixed Shish kebab with a portion of dinner meat and I must say it's AMAZING.. The home made Chilli Sauce is absolutely divine... 100% definitely ordering from here every time from now on...

Great kebab/burger/pizza takeaway, best of its kind we've found in Chesterfield. One star missing as they often fail to act on order instructions we leave such leaving out certain ingredients, meaning we have to pick things out. This needs work. Otherwise great, nice food, delivered on time.

It was approximately 10 minutes late but given carona that's not bad and the food is really good I would recommend the food to everyone

Gone down hill fast. Ordered over Internet, missing items and when rang them they couldn't get me off the phone quick enough saying they would sort it out. Well 1 hour later nothing turned up. Will not use again.

Last time we order, no bacon on a bacon burger, breadcobs dry and not nice plus no free garlic bread when we spent over £17, so dissapointed as we always order from here. Unfortunately last few orders have been incorrect and so will not be back next time. 😞

For pizza or kebab takeaway (& more) these guys are the best. Smashing friendly chaps and the pizzas are very reasonably priced and oi favourite. Lamb shish is my fave kebab, great meat and seasoning. Give them a go!

Order here every week and never have any problems! Speedy delivery and great choice on menu. Definitely recommend!
