Marmaris Cafe Croydon in Croydon

Standard food, a bit on the greasy side. Does not take card. Been a few times, ordered the same stuff but charged different each time.

It says online it is open. Drove 20 minutes to get here, passing other cafes on the way. It was closed with a sign on the shutters! Very frustrating! They should update what it says online.

Food did not come, waited 5 hours stole money not impressed at all waste of my money to be honest :(

Very friendly staff, spotlessly clean cafe, wonderful food at ridiculously cheap prices. Today, the husband and I had delicious BLT and egg and bacon sarnies, plus 2 teas, for a total of £9. Had we not been so fat already, we would have reordered the same again! Highly recommended.

Not been for a few years and was passing to catch a train from Purley, grabbed a quick Americano and BLT to takeaway, as I remembered friendly staff and quick service. Got to my train and tucked into a wonderful sandwich, perfect way to start my working day👍🏼

We have been going to Marmaris cafe since it opened and have to say the staff are always very friendly, food is superb, good value and very clean. Have recommend the cafe to all our family and friends and they also visit regularly. Highly recommend. John & Kim

Lovely breakfast, I visit regularly and the food is always excellent. Staff are very efficient and the food is prepared fresh but without a long wait. It’s ALWAYS busy, so that must be a great sign!

Have been taking my kids here for lunch over several years . Always good value food with generous portions . Quick and friendly service , if you are after a local cafe you cant get much better .

My mum raves about this place. We went together. Ordered fish and chips. Fish was so over cooked. Incredibly unpleasant, bland, cheap, grey, tasteless piece of fish in a horrible batter. Sent it back and had an omelette instead, also not very pleasant. Wouldn’t return.

Went today for a well deserved cooked breakfast. The cafe is clean and bright, friendly attentive staff and a cooking gallery so you can see the level of cleanliness while they cook your order. The food was good and tasty, decent portion sizes too. Coffee mugs could be a bit bigger! Lol Will definitely go back.

Clean, friendly service, we always come here when we fancy a fry up. The cheese and bacon omelette's are to die for. The only one criticism I would say is please change the cheap ketchup to Heinz.

I have visited this cafe on a few occasions over the past month taking my family for breakfast. The portion sizes are good. The Breakfast is great and staff are attentive and friendly. I will certainly be back!

We looked at the reviews first before coming here, it lived up to the reviews I must say, very clean, friendly staffs, the food came quickly. We came from lower addiscombee so farther than we thought but this is our fault. There was a few parking spaces available. Food was very tasty too at affordable prices.

Friendly cafe with a really wide choice of menu but I always go for the cooked breakfast as it’s so good! Food served quickly but very fresh. My choice isn’t listed on the set menu but they are always happy to serve this combination. Recommend.

Perfectly cooked fry ups to your liking. They will serve anything you like, my daughter has pancakes maple syrup, scrambled eggs and beans! First class and good value. Nice view of the park.

Went here for lunch one day and ordered the breakfast and none of us were unhappy with our meals. Cooked in a prompt time, friendly and reasonable priced and served by polite staff. Can't go wrong!

We have just moved to the area and are having work done on our kitchen, so we were pleased to find this place so close! The food is good quality, the staff are brilliant and friends of ours who have come to stay say they look forward to breakfast in the cafe every time they come.

We went there today for a late brunch and it was wonderful. I had their mega-breakfast which was truly amazing, very filling and scrumpcious, It comes with tea /coffee and toast and was one of the best fry up's I have ever had. My wife had a Roast chicken meal which she really enjoyed and a plate full of appetising food. It is consistantly good, the service prompt and the staff very friendly, cant wait to go back.

I regularly eat at Marmaris, mainly for their breakfast and I love it there. Clean, friendly, efficient, accommodating and most importantly really good tasting food. Their service is great too.

Service very good and the food was delicious. It was very busy at the time we went but the staff were still attentive and obviously the food is cooked to order so a slight delay is inevitable.

I very nice and clean cafe. Food is what you expect from a cafe. sometimes the sausages are wet and soggy inside and sometimes they're more firm without that horrible oily taste. Bacon is a bit touch and go. Chips are always good. Hash browns are a bit over cooked. Mushrooms are touch and go, sometimes are very light in colour or they can be dark and black. Beans are always cheap. They WERE doing the best milkshakes around, but not now. what a shame. Its the only reason I go there! Overall its a very good cafe.

Having sampled food in many cafes in and around Purley, Kenley, South Croydon, Warlingham and Whyteleafe, Marmaris is the best by far. There are many other good cafes, but this is better than good. The food is cooked to perfection. For example, whilst a full English breakfast can often be greasy and sometimes a bit unappetising, here it is tasty and not greasy at all. And chips...... don't get me started on the chips.....! Just delicious! Portion sizes are large, yet the price is very reasonable. Staff are lovely too, very friendly, and service is fast.

Visited the cafe for brunch today. We both had the set breakfast 2. It was very tasty and very filling, exultant value.

Marmaris Cafe is exactly how you would expect it: tasty, genuine and traditional food, cosy and not pretentious interiors , welcoming and friendly staff, honest price. Highly recommended for a delicious breakfast or brunch. You won't be disappointed.

Popped in on a friend's recommendation and was not disappointed. The restaurant is spotless, the staff efficient & friendly and the food delicious. I have been back already and taken friends and will be visiting regularly. Well done Marmaris. Great service.

This is the second time I've eaten here, the dining area and kitchen are immaculate. Both times I opted for baguettes and you get plenty of filling. I avoid a lot of cafe type places but not this one. Check it out.

This place is my absolute favourite cafe to go to for a good fry up. The breakfasts seem of better quality to other cafes I've been to and the staff are very friendly. They also do super nice milkshakes made with chocolate bars etc. Highly recommend :)

Stopped of for what was supposed to be fish and chips however this little place looked appealing. Massive menu, lovely food & staff. We called twice during our visit to Croydon. A little gem.

All the food is perfectly cooked and in good sized portions. Staff are helpful, service is quick. They have high chairs for babies.

Had the chance to visit this recently revamped establishment again, it is always a pleasure and well worth going to and the menu choice is huge. Had one of their 'amazing breakfasts' which as usual absolutely scrumpcious and great value. It is always busy with the locals and a very popular destination if you are in the vicinity. The staff are always helpful, it is kept clean and tidy and fresh looking, would give it a 6 out 5 if it were possible, a joy to visit.

I have often driven past this Cafe on my travels.

This is my local cafe & was always a firm favourite. However, since refurbishment, it's even better! The staff are so friendly & welcoming. There's a wide variety of dishes available, all cooked to perfection & all at a reasonable cost. I've been there with my kids for lunch, with the school mums for breakfast & for coffee & cake with my mum - not once have I had a bad experience.

What a great way to spend time with your family and not stuck in the kitchen cooking all weekend the staff were friendly and very helpful cafe very clean and tidy not like a cafe at all more like a restaurant five stars

Got the late night munchies so ordered a mixed Kebab. Turned up on time. Not greasy, loads of fresh salad and enough meat for the guilty pleasure of having a few bites for breakfast the following morning. Very pleased.

Marmaris is a cafe/restaurant situated in Sanderstead, South Croydon. We found it by coincidence, when we stopped at the newsagent in the afternoon while driving along Mitchley Avenue. The interior is exceptionally modern, apparently quite new. The food is remarkably agreeable, freshly cooked and served with courtesy by top man Kennan and Nefely, the young lady waitress. It is a combination of Turkish and Greek hospitality, which made the lunch very special indeed!
