Sent my deserts out cold, when I spoke to the staff on the phone she didn’t apologise at all tried saying it was my fault and her attitude absolutely stinks!

Took ages for the dessert to arrive. The portion is very expensive for the size of it. Not what I respected to receive.

Ordered from here today and I had a sundea that looked half eaten, and the ice cream that was in the cup had melted.. rubbish , will not use again

Amazing food, I really enjoyed it. Extremely friendly staff and very clean seating areas , would definitely recommend to try this dessert shop.

Use to regularly order Sundae from this place. Now due to new ownership the products used seem to lack in quality. The brownie tasted disgusting, the ice cream tasted worse than the cheapest form of ice cream you can find. Total let down , my advice is use the products the previous owners used and none of this low quality cheap stuff. I much rather pay a little extra and have quality than pay and have something that taste horrible.

Amazing desserts, we tried the sprinkle cake, chocolate brownie, and strawberry dream waffle. Staff were friendly, and the service was good.

I placed an order to be delivered for 8 slices of red velvet cheesecake and carrot cake, I spoke with Zameer and Zara. They were both very polite, the desserts were amazing very moist. They also popped an extra dessert in as it was my dads birthday. Delivery was quick and easy thank you so much! Will definitely order again :)

Order placed on Ubereats, the order was taking really long, so I called the restaurant who said it’s out for delivery and I should just wait. 1hour went by still nothing so recalled the restaurant and was told they have no idea where my order was despite it was their own driver who was delivering the food…. Clueless restaurant

Very Very disappointed - - i used to order from these guys over the phone for delivery regularly . Now you can only order on just eat because it’s a new policy? Hint of advice for new owners or which ever clever person was on the phone- Allow customers or “regular customers” to order directly with you so further costs with justeat/Uber etc could be avoided for the business and customer. Please bring back the old customer service you guys once had. Clearly your recent reviews are very accurate. All the best

I’ve been going here for years. However, the prices have recently increased and the portion have been reduced. Especially the Biscoff sundae size has reduced.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING!!! Order 2 x peanut butter stacks and an Oreo milk cake. 1 x stack was missing and the Oreo milk cake is actually off! The cream is stale. Extremely concerning considering I’m 8 months pregnant. Won’t be ordering from here again!!

Order sky juice (only reason we choose Marlos) and got normal slushes, that was given to a bike rider Uber driver with no doing film, that in turned decided to leak all over the rest of the food. Don’t know how to warm custard up. Won’t bother again

Normally pretty simple, order get our stuff and the foods decent. Never had to deal with the staff till today, Disgusting attitude, lacking common sense and unhelpful service, would recommend going elsewhere as I will be in future

Only buy their slush. Did like their doughnuts but once I actually went into the shop for myself I cant bring myself to eat from there again. Grimey and unkempt, ice cream freezer is dirty and grummy, the "kitchen" at the back looks like a jailhouse kitchen all the chocolates are kept in *open* in massive plastic boxes, cakes looked awfully depressing and stale too. I understand businesses struggle but there's no excuse for high prices and low standards.

Rudest staff no respect a order which is wrong and not mentioned on the menu is unavaible and to call last minute that theres a issue and argue with pure lip disrespectful and wouldnt be suprised if they spit in your stuff if you argue with them respectaly..who employs these people.. do not order from here!

I don’t normally write reviews but honestly marlos is the best dessert shop in erdington!! From the waffles to cake and shakes, everything tastes great; not only is the food delicious but the staff are always so lovely and kind. I would defo recommend the brownie explosion waffle if you’re feeling the late night munchies 😉. If you haven’t been here before, you’re defo missing out.

So......Great chocolate cake although we're a bit confused as we ordered a chocolate brownie and there was nothing brownie about it. It was an obvious chocolate fudge cake which was beautiful but not what I wanted. The Victoria sponge taste shop bought. I was expecting buttercream and a general less Costco taste. The chocolate concrete tasted ok. I woukd definitely order the concrete again but not with the custard it was like water. My local desert shop wad closed and this is the first ever order. The portion sizes are tiny. Considering what you get at other desert shops. Overall I think we were disappointed because of the portion sizes and presentation and quality of the cakes.

if was so good we had a rainbow suprise waffle there was sweet white sauce with with white marshmallows you can have other stuff on it.Definetly a great treat!

When the uber driver delivered our order one of the cookie doughs was missing, I contacted marlos to check whether they had forgotten but they immediately put the blame on the uber driver.Claiming he must've taken it because they "definitely packed the order". When I contacted the marlos staff the individual who picked up was extremely rude and hung up on me, uber had to take it upon them self to refund us, Marlos refused to refund us. Terrible customer services 😑

Called up the shop they tell me the kitchens hot they can resend it out but its going to be the same condition. We've been going here since the shop opened. Won't refund me. Cookie dough freezing cold. Slush melted. Horrible. Won't be going there ever again and certainly won't be recommending.

Been ordering from marlos for quite some time now and they have never disappointed me! Their foods are always fresh and taste amazing. I would honestly say if your looking for quality desserts for a decent price, marlos is the place you want to visit!

Ordered dessert from Marlos via Uber Eats, when I got the order 1 of the desserts were missing, i called Marlos and i was told as far as they were concerned all the items were put in the bag and that i have to take the issue up with Uber Eats. WILL NOT BE ORDERING FROM MARLOS AGAIN!!!!!!

Very disappointed in the chocolate fudge cake, tasted like detergent. Gave them a chance to put it right said they will replace it waited nearly 2 hours kept saying can't find your house even took my number and didn't bother calling. Worst service I've ever received in my life at least don't lie

Best desserts in Birmingham!!! I don’t usually write reviews but had to for this!!! We ordered a waffle, cookie dough and cheesecake- they ALL tasted AMAZING!! I’m not usually a big fan of waffles as I find them quite stodgy but this was something else! So light and fluffy and the flavours were just perfect!! Cheesecake was perfectly done too - would highly recommend the Lotus! And the cookie dough was just great!! The service was fantastic, ordered from Uber Eats and it was at my front door within 30 minutes! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good dessert in the Birmingham area, will definitely be ordering again soon!

Very bad service and awful food custard tasted like it was from Asda’s smartprice range, cake was very old and clearly past it’s sell by date, milkshake was supposed to be bubblegum however was more vanilla than any other flavour.

Just ordered and I'm extremely upset with my order.... yes I could of called back but I decided not to as it's not the first time I've had a problem. (More fool me for reordering again) the waffles and the cookie dough had to go into the oven and the millkdrinks were made of milk and syrup( definitely cutting cost ) and the ice cream was watery. I'm not been over the top I'm just saying that the food I received was very disappointing to say the least. Especially when my daughter used her hard earned money to buy me that for a mothers day treat. Kmt.

Amazing deserts and one of the very few places that do tasty Terry’s Chocolate orange cookie dough! We order a few times a month and have never been disappointed. The white chocolate cookie dough is amazing. This is the only place I’d order desert to be delivered. 5 stars from me!

Ordered from this desert place first time very nice desserts. Quick and efficient delivery and would definitely recommend this place. When I ordered second time came really quick and again desserts were mouth watering. Go order and try for yourself .

terrible service. waited 2 hours for ubereats order. they kept on increasing the delivery time. maybe 5 times? until it got past their closing time and then cancelled around 1am :) no communication whatsoever. hopefully their products are better than their service. **edit: attempts were made through the app to contact you guys, but ubers order queries/FAQs said since the driver had not even picked up our order we could not contact them. also ubereats states that they have no control over delays if orders have not been picked up. maybe the app glitched. as the order was placed around 10:30-45. if it was cancelled initially and not accepted it would have been so much more simple. So, whilst you may say your uber machine turns off at 10:45.. it did not unfortunately. the order went through and was cancelled near 1am.

Ordered my desserts at 817 and was told 9, the driver tx me at 850ish to say on way and was running late, he was 1 minute late and apologised for being late, so straight away that's shows what an professional company these were gonna be, then came to my sundae, I had mint and vanilla and not to exaggerate but this really was one of the tastiest ones I've tried, my wife had the nutella waffle and that looked amazing too, and they were both cheaper than other companies on just eat. I have tried a lot of places from just eat and I am gonna say these are one of my favourite places I have used, so I would highly recommend these for your dessert. Well done guys dont change what you are doing in my opinion 👍

First time trying Marlos, £17 on 3 sundaes, all tasted the same despite ordering different flavours, 95% of plain vanilla ice cream with 5% of cheap chocolate, will not be reordering

So when I heard a new dessert spot was opening in the area I thought I'd follow it up on Instagram even though I had a really bad experience with the last dessert shop that was there I thought I'd give it a try,so I gave them a call and booked a table of 14 as my son's 7th birthday was coming up was really really impressed it was a total new scenery and really welcoming when I went.They actually went out there way and bought a number 7 balloon. The desserts was amazing and they let the kids refill there slush cups free of charge. Defo glad this place is open around here just what we needed.

I regularly visit with my wife and kids, I'm a big fan of sundaes and they never disappoint! My wife loves the cookie dough and it's probably the only dessert shop that will halve a waffle to make it two portions but only charge for one portion for my kids. Highly recommended this place, go check it out!

Only ordered because I got free delivery and 10 off, if I paid full price I would of asked for a refund. Cookie dough tasted cheap, sauce was just thrown on. Brownie tasted like chocolate concrete. Tasted like sainsburys basics custard yuk never again
