The M&S provides a wonderful selection of food & drink served by friendly staff. The menu provides a welcome & probably healthier alternative to Blackpool's multitude of fast food outlets so we made a b-line for this cafe during our weekend stay.

After walking around with my 13 year old boy that has autism the security guarded rushed over to my boy as he was a criminal as we was looking for something that I was told earlier that was in this shop the security kept following and looking at my sons bag as if he had stole something , I mean this guy was around him like a rash intill I told him to stop and then security guard said he was checking his signal he followed him around the shop intill he left the shop upset confused and then said why would the security guard do that so I went back to the shop ask to speak to the manager as it will be on CCTV , he then told me to get out of the shop so I continued to look for someone as he followed shouting abuse laughing saying their is no CCTV I then speak to the manager for her to give me a sorry and he only doing his job! He said he was on his phone so what part of that is doing his job???? I will never ever shop in this shop again and its all about the price tag shocking customer service and a ruin day

Called in with my hubby after attending the Rememberance Service, had a lovely hot coffee and toasted tea cake. Unfortunately nowhere near enough staff and they looked worn out, however still managed to smile and be pleasant whilst delivering excellent service.

no obvious access to place without using stairs. as for the caffe, 25 minuets queing, not enough table, and only 2 toilets, both dissabled, which is ironic considering access problems.

If it hadn’t been for meeting friends I would give a wide birth. It takes ages for a coffee and I wanted a tea cake, however 10 minute wait and coffee would have been cold by then. Talking to others in que it’s always the same which is why I don’t go in anymore it took me 15 mins for a coffee rediculous why on earth they can’t make it quicker, go to Barton grange and get some hints , they have got it so right busier and quicker. Lots of staff looking busy but not sure what they were doing. Never again

Called in for a quick snack, soup and a sarnie, the food was reasonable but the service was slow with staff apologising for the service.The staff were very pleasant and were clearing tables as fast as they could as it was pretty busy. Unfortunately nothing to shout about.

went clothes shopping more choice than the local store at home found all the staff very accomodating and customer friendly in all the departments went to the cafe for a snack the bottle water was lovely and were offered ice and the chocolate cake was to good to resist defo will go back staff in there were good

Called into Blackpool M and S for a quick lunch and it should be like every other store but it's not.We just had sandwich, cake and coffee.I asked for the biscuit that comes with the coffee and they didn't have any - no offer of anything else, nor to open a packet from the counter, so I could have bought a packet.The lemon cake was awful, really dry, so bad I left it.Lots of tables needed to be cleared and the whole place looked untidy.The ladies toilet is disgusting, it's so dirty it's probably safer not to wash your hands. We won't be going back.

Best food and prepared dishes, fresh salads and friendly staff. Always a pleasure to be able to fall back on them

Visited M&S Blackpool for a walk around the store and grab a quick coffee. You can not go wrong with a bit of M&S as they say. Recommend a visit.

Went here a couple of times during our few days in Blackpool. It’s very busy which is always a good sign. Plenty of choice for either a snack or a meal. What really struck me, the queue never seemed to go down but the staff we cheerful and smiling all through it. Excellent choice for our snack, well done

Convienent to Centre and good selection of Lunch style food for snacks. Shop busy and staff helpful if you cant find stuff.

We are really fond of Marks and Spencer and do a lot of our shopping here. We buy all sorts, menswear, women's wear and home wear. We LOVE the quality and value. This shop is quite big, has three levels and has a good cafe. There is the food hall on the lower ground floor, the cafe and children's wear.

Like a lifeboat to passengers from a sinking ship, this spacious and airy M&S; is clung to by shoppers despairing of finding anything of quality in the town centre.

Before I start my shopping I always start with a cup of coffee and a snack at M & S Blackpool. I am always greeted with a smile when I put in my order, the staff are just so personable. The food and drinks on offer are just right, for either a quick bite or to sit and enjoy something more substantial. The afternoon tea is delicious. The cafe is clean and has a lovely atmosphere.

I called in to get some perfume i keep forgetting to buy!

After queuing for sometime, was told by staff that toasted tea cakes would be at least a 20 minute wait as they had a backlog of toasted sandwiches to prepare. I could be served drinks but these would either be finished or cold when the food arrived.when I said I could not wait that long the reply was "suit yourself" which I thought was very rude, an apology would have better. The café was busy and the tables were in a disgusting state, only one waitress on duty and she was fighting a losing battle. This is not the first time I have had to leave a M & S café. The same has occurred in Stratford on Avon and Merry Hill Dudley. These cafes are very popular and should be staffed better especially at peak lunch times. As someone who pays for the privilege of having drinks vouchers I think I should be able to get better service. Its also apparent that staff are feeling the pressure and can be a bit abrupt at times.

Called for a snack on a busy afternoon. Whilst acknowledging that the cafe was busy, this really was no excuse for the messy uncleared tables. We bought our drinks and proceeded to find a table. There were seats available, but tables were piled up with the previous visitors' crockery and leftovers meaning we had to move the stuff out of the way to put our tray down. The service was slow and drinks were going cold. However we could hardly believe that when our food arrived the staff member did not appear to notice the mess. We sat for about half an hour and no attempt was made to clear and wipe any tables. In fact it was rather chaotic. What was the point of serving more people when the staff could not cope clearing up?

This is a good sized Marks and Spencer set in the middle of town. The cafeteria is located downstairs and has a good selection of sandwiches and snacks.....

What a lovely big store this is,very friendly staff.it has everything you need from good to ladies and gents clothing.

I find Marks and Spencers have a tremendous variety of pre packed sandwiches rolls wraps baquettes with widevariety of fillings to suit all choices they also have a supply of soft drinks ,milk. Cakes biscuits ,bread.crisps ,nuts,ice creams suitable to take down onto the beach or promenade while in town.

Medium sized store centrally located in a pedestrian area with food section which is a good size and friendly staff

If you go to the cafe during busy times you must be prepared to wait. I go twice a week at opening time so no waiting involved. The staff have always been pleasant and helpful with me, even when I go the odd time at "rush-hour". Their bacon rolls and Eccles cake are to die for. I also visit the food hall where, again, the staff are cheerful and very helpful. My favourite cafe.

I simply asked if they had an item of food in stock and was replied to with a 'No' and she got back on with her own job.

Nothing has improved since the summer in the café! we waited 15 minutes for a bowl of soup. They weren't even busy, maybe just under half full.

Visited on a Sunday lunch. The cafe was fairly busy it is set in the basement and is a bit cramped. After queuing up we reached the 'till' at around 1.45 to be advised that we could not have the two portions of soup requested as there was only 1 portion left? The family in front of us at the second 'till' were not fairing much better either , being advised that 3 of the dishes they were requesting being 'off' as well, resulting in several trips back to the table where their children were seated to gather alternative requests.

First time I have been to the Marks and Spencers cafe and happy to find some lovely cake which I had tea with [which was free on my sparks card] Cake was lovely but tea so weak it would hardly come out of pot glad it was free. May return for more cake but not the tea

Worst M and S cafe ever. Tables full of uncleared dirty dishes which we moved ourselves. Soggy, greasy toasties.

Three friends and I visited here for a quick, hopefully tasty, lunch on 21st September. Sadly it was neither of these. My sausage and red onion toastie was unpleasant, soggy bread and tasteless contents, certainly poor value at £3.75.My evening was also spoilt by an upset stomach!. My friends enjoyed their meal as little as I did. Sorry M&S;, will not be visiting one of your cafes in the future

Visited the cafe for lunch while on a visit to Blackpool ,we were not at all impressed. Our grandson always asks for M and S cafe when out for for the day but even at his age (7years old) his verdict was " I don't think we will come back grandma it's not as good as usual". We had to return chipped crockery in which our salad dressing was served and there was no top on our fruit smoothie carton. The toilet adjoining the cafe was out of order so we had to go from the basement to the first floor to use the toilets there was no toilet paper in the ladies and my husband said the gents toilets were in a disgraceful state just not the standard we expect from M and S. On the whole I agree with my grandson we will not be visiting this cafe again.

We visited the restaurant for afternoon tea for two. The selection of sandwiches and cakes was good and really freshly made. I can recommend the scones with cream and jam.

The worst first. Food in cafe as bland as ever and it's always overcrowded, all 4 seasons.

Service in cafe wasn't up to normal M&S; standards. Several staff behind counter but not in a rush to serve customers. Like coffee to be extra hot, have to ask or else you get it warm :( Plenty of lovely cafes in town with better service ;)

Shop here regularly,find it very pleasant store,most of the staff pleasant.Like most people love the food and especially the offers.

I go for the food. They have the best ready meals and take out sandwiches and salads of so many varieties. Dinner for 4 is so easy and comes with wine! I cram my suitcase with treats from M&S; to take home.

have always loved m&s; they have a good range of clothes for all the family and love their food hall their ready made meals are very very good and they do have very good sales stuff often half price

I went to M&S; recently looking for a navy skirt for work. I had been struggling to find one and there were none on the racks that were my size. I asked a staff member if there were any others, but she informed me there were none. Instead of leaving me stranded and skirtless, she took her time to go through the order process with me, using a rather troublesome tablet! However, she persevered and eventually managed to get it working. My skirt was ordered for next-day collection and I was extremely happy. Unfortunately I cannot remember her name, but her customer service was impeccable. Well done Blackpool M&S;, your staff are lovely.

Not the best marks cafe, it's quite slow and scruffy looking, it was much nicer upstairs instead of in the lower dungeon that it is now,

The usual Marks and Spencer, but the downstairs is a little world of its own, lovely items and a coffee shop with superb coffee, plus a large food hall , this can be a bit of a nightmare trying to find things, but if you are not looking here you will be elsewhere, sometimes slow checkouts, and staff not very helpful

Went here during a visit to Blackpool with family for a hot drink and a snack, Quick was not a word the staff had heard, the service was absolutely shocking, we waited so long to be served by what appeared to be an understaffed counter, then were served with our drinks, which had to be returned as all the coffees were cold, again we had to wait, as the staff could not cope with the backlog of other customers waiting on their drinks.

Marks and Sparks ,great food you know it's worth the money from marks ,clothing ranges look old these days need updating ,staff great ,shop clean ,expensive on the home front but it always has been

Very well laid out and lots of various departments within the store, including household goods and ladies and gents clothes

Good store but with many M&S; stores, the toilets are never as good as the store itself. Could do with being updated.

Dropped by and pleasantly surprised. Nice to see total refit of restaurant area. Staff curteous, polite and helpful. Food always good and fresh with generally good prices. Always worth dropping by for a quick bite with good choice without the hassle

Nice cafe in the basement of M & S in Blackpool town centre. Very helpful and considerate staff. Food exactly what you would expect from M & S. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Just popped in for a quick coffee during shopping. There was nothing quick about it. We had to wait a very long time to be served as the relatively short queue remained static for ages. One member of staff slowly prepared two coffees and on presenting it to a customer was told the order was wrong - que more waiting! Why shops and other retailers insist on employing long overdue retirees who lost their sense of urgency decades ago baffles me.

Briefly called in yesterday and had a coffee. surprised that you cannot purchase a small americano, but not to worry. A sale was on and the staff were very chatty and friendly, so well done them.

We like M&S; Cafes. Usually. We were visiting Lancashire for the weekend, taking in Blackpool for a day with two of our three adult children and one of our three grandchildren. Thank goodness we hadn't all come as the table arrangements would not have accommodated us as a group. The counter where orders are placed was even worse. Two baristas are employed, which is great, but instead of serving the coffee at the end of the counter, like other coffee shops, here you are expected to move to the end then back to the original order point to collect the beverage, where other customers are now placing their orders. Sheer madness & a recipe for scalding galore!

My friend and I always eat lunch here when shopping in Blackpool. The restaurant has been refurbished and made bigger which is much better. The food is always good, plenty of room and we always enjoy our time here.
