Had the new Christmas turkey and ham hock sandwich,very disappointed,looked nothing like the menu picture, was dry over cooked and bland,they have skimped on the filling and had sold out of gravy when I ordered,they promise a lot on their menu picture but I would not buy this again,Norwich cafe has gone down hill lately and shutting the first floor cafe was the worst thing they could have done as the second floor cafe cannot cope.

This is a filthy cafe, flies and rubbish left out on most tables and all over the floor - plus expensive. AVOID. Staff look depressed.

Passed by on Saturday with my wife and son, and thought would be nice to visit and have a coffee. Went there on 20/03/2023, very disappointed, nobody serving, even though I only waited 5 mins, there was nobody else their, staff finally came out, but actually served the woman who had just turned up, when staff member finally served me, I asked for a hot chocolate and a white coffee, hot chocolate wasn't hot and the coffee was an americano with a tiny bit of milk on the side, I said that I wanted a white coffee which she replied we don't have white coffee on the menu, to which I replied then just do a Latte then, M&S server was just rude, didn't really want my day to be ruined by incompetent staff, so I left it. While seated, looked around, but not busy, yet tables hadn't been cleaned nor trays and cups hadn't been removed, come away disappointed, will not return as first impressions do last. My wife and I both come from successful careers in catering as well as a high level of customer service. So M&S, please take advice on what the comments are, not just from me but others.

Visited top floor cafe on Saturday morning - not open until 9am changed from 8am. Massive queue - this congested top floor so no one could pass through to the toilet area. Only one staff taking order and making coffee. Coffee not hot enough and over priced. Cafe has gone down hill - don’t blame staff blame management. Management rude when I pointed this out.

We had GREAT difficulty find a table that had a clean surface, How it passes inspection by the authorities is a real puzzle. MORE WORRYING - despite all these negative reviews there appears to be no response from M&S to anyone!

A terrible experience in the cafe. There was no indication that most of the menu had sold out until we got to the front of the queue. We were even told most of the drinks menu was also unavailable. If you want an easy cafe experience with a readily available menu, go elsewhere.

The family and I came out for lunch, ordered 2 southen fried chicken rolls and a kids pizza. Kids pasta came out which we refused as we had ordered pizza, then to be told they'd run out of pizza, we also ordered a Colin frappe which was another let down, not as its pictured. Won't be returning

There are lots of nice assistants in all parts of the store but particularly so in the incredibly busy food dept. I have seen a young female assistant called Ruby use sign language with a customer, remember that a customer’s Mum was in a home and help my Dad with his packing. Very unusual in this day Ava age. A credit to M&S!

I came to the cafe just after lunch service ,which had clearly been busy ,and there was nothing left in the refrigerated unit except a cheese and ham toastie ,which we picked up for my elderly mum, we went to the counter to ask if they had any more and the service the young man gave us was appalling , basically he asked if that was it?? I asked if he could see if they had another he said if they weren’t out there weren’t any was that all??? He was abrupt and kept talking over my mum ,very loudly . The young lady went out to the back to check the fridge and said she was awfully sorry but they’d nothing else. The young guy cut in again ,is that all??? My mum wanted a drink he talked over her constantly asking what she wanted as she was trying to ask ,I’ve actually never met anyone so rude and I’ve been in hospitality for over 20 years . My mum was visibly upset and nearly crying it was appalling. The other young man did a sterling job of clearing the tables but then two staff members ,a man and woman I believe one had a managers lanyard on ( not from the restaurant) came in and sat behind my mum and I and and he started talking about work really loudly like the whole place should know. My mum worked for M&S for 10+ years ,I worked there for 3 ,before going into hospitality and I cannot express how awful this experience was,I felt sorry for the young people who were actually doing their job and giving it their best shot against all the odds and I would have never employed someone who was as disinterested in good customer service as the guy who served us at 2.30pm yesterday ( wish I’d got a name) but most of all I’m sad that my mum was upset and M&S is such a shambles now.

Went into the café today the service centre was very slow and chaotic manned by very young staff who I am aware that they need training but no one was there to supervise staff had to keep running off to do other things no explanation,we then had to clear the table as they were all full of dirty plates and cups I appreciate that there are staff shortages but while we were there young staff brought out ordered food but didn’t take away dirty plates except once but only one tray left the rest. Not once were the tables cleaned or even wiped down so if COVID becomes rife in Norwich I know where I will be avoiding like the plague they will have helped promote.I don’t blame the young inexperienced staff who were trying there best but there was no management to be seen to help.

There seemed to be lots of young staff bringing out food but no one took any dirty trays on their return journey. Tables were left to be cleared by customers wanting to sit there, hence no sanitising, 4 lots of dirty trays piled on 3 tables in the centre of the room ignored all the while we sat with our coffee - not acceptable even prior to COVID. Getting served took ages too. If it is because of staff shortages, a.though I think a bit more organisation is required rather than extra staff, then perhaps place notices asking customers to return dirty trays to a dedicated station, however, at least one person should be cleaning the tables. Cutlery not replenished. M&S previously high standard of service has gone downhill.

There are insufficient staff to clear and clean the tables. Just about all the vacant tables were piled with used dishes. My visit was on a hot day but there were no windows open or air conditioning working.

Went in looking for a shirt had no idea regards colour schemes as wanted advice matching with Trousers I have in wardrobe. Rory could not have been more patient and helpful came away with 1 shirt the other Suitable shirt was not my size brilliant customer service well deserved pay rise on cards

There are seldom enough staff to cover the volume of customers, resulting in long queues and the quality of the food has gone downhill, but my son and I were pressed for time and popped into M&S yesterday instead of visiting the fantastic street food stalls in Norwich market as we normally do. M&S have stopped serving jacket potato with chilli (which used to be very good) so I opted for a ciabatta fish finger roll, which was barely edible. The roll was completely dry and impossible to bite into or to cut with a knife and fork. My son (whose sausage ciabatta roll also looked a very sorry specimen indeed) went looking for some pats of butter to help make the dry rolls more edible and palatable but there were none out, and the only other option was to queue for ages to ask for some, so he gave up, which left me having to tear small pieces off the roll with my hands to be able to eat it. Never again!

Friendly enough staff and the normal m&s choices of drinks and snacks, but also the normal m&s inefficient and slow service. Convenient location, but try elsewhere if you don’t like slow queues.

Went to buy food for a cream tea. Only small pots of clotted cream which were way overpriced, they had no packet scones so bought from the so called fresh baked, they were so dry and stale, it was an embarrassment to serve them. Staff were uninterested in their jobs especially the on the bakery.

The food is delicious. The Jacket Potatoes are proper and hearty, served with a delicious side salad and excellent, top-notch fillings, truly top-notch quality. The staff are hard-working and extremely helpful.

Took my daughter and her friend for lunch. We ordered 3 jacket potatoes with tuna and sweetcorn with salad. When the order arrived I noticed there was a salad dressing on the salad. I went to see a very charming lady , wearing a MacMillan T Shirt who very quickly and professional, checked in the file what the dressing contained. Unfortunately, I can't have garlic and the information said the dressing incl garlic purée. Rightaway my meal was changed and the lady came out with a fresh salad with no dressing. Wonderful!

Visité esta tienda de M & S en el centro de la ciudad de Norwich. Tenía dos pares de zapatos que quería, que vi en su "hasta el 50% de descuento en la venta". Tenían los zapatos en existencia pero al precio de venta COMPLETO. Hablé con un vendedor, dijo que los códigos de los productos eran diferentes y que por eso el precio en la tienda era 20 más, a pesar de que eran idénticos en todos los aspectos. Dijo que también recibía el precio más bajo, ¡uno también tenía pedidos en línea!

Con una persona haciendo las órdenes de bebidas en la máquina de café, siempre hay una Q masiva. Necesitan más personal haciendo bebidas calientes, ya que este lugar realmente se está convirtiendo en un lugar para evitar ya que tienes que esperar un tiempo para que te atiendan.

Invocado aquí un día laborable para el almuerzo. Estaba muy ocupado, pero nos las arreglamos para conseguir un asiento en una de las mesas populares de tipo de stand. Pedí un pastel de temporada servido con papas con hierbas y una ensalada mixta. Lamentablemente, el pastel, cuando llegó, se quemó en varias áreas, en la parte superior y alrededor de los bordes. Me sorprendió que el personal de M y S pensara que esta era una comida satisfactoria para servirle a un cliente que pagaba y yo dependía de mí pedir un reemplazo. Cuando esto fue resuelto, realmente disfruté mi comida. He visitado otros restaurantes M y S y siempre han tenido agua del grifo de autoservicio disponible en jarras con hielo añadido, pero este no fue el caso en Norwich. No me molestaría de nuevo. El personal estaba esforzándose y era amable, pero estaban luchando con el espacio, el número de pedidos, el sistema y se estaban poniendo un poco ágiles entre ellos. Pedimos un descafeinado Americano y un Americano ordinario. Mi café descafeinado era asqueroso, muy aguados y no tenía un buen sabor. El otro café fue descrito como "no muy agradable". Cuando te tomas el tiempo para detenerte y sentarte a tomar un café en lugar de agarrarte a "ir", esperas algo mejor. Vamos, M & S puedes hacerlo mejor que esto.

Sé que estaban ocupados, pero 25 minutos para un sándwich tostado es ridículo. Un hombre cerca de nosotros estaba esperando 40 minutos y cuando preguntó (muy cortésmente) dónde estaba su comida, le dijeron bruscamente que la impresora se había roto y que no era su culpa. También escuchamos a la misma joven siendo muy grosera con una dama cuya orden no había llegado a la cocina en absoluto. Una disculpa y una oferta de una bebida caliente complementaria habrían aliviado la situación. Una lección sobre gestión de clientes muy necesaria aquí.

We were attracted into the M & S Cafe by a board outside advertising what appeared to be a delicious English Breakfast. What arrived after 15minutes from ordering could not be compared to that mouth-watering image. Most of the plate was taken up by two rounds of thin toast dried up like rock; two little packs of butter melted to oil; two little poached eggs that a pigeon might have been proud of; two thin rashers of bacon that could have been passed off as Parma Ham and a flavourless sausage. This is a new introduction to the M & S Cafe and cannot be compared to the quality and value given by other local department stores. St Michael would have been very disappointed and so were we.

We had a lovely afternoon tea here for three of us. Four sandwiches each of which there was a choice, choice of cheese or fruit scone and three bite sized pastries. Clotted cream and choice of jam with the fruit scones as well. Reasonable price of around £8 each and remaining food packed up to go.

3 of us visited the higher floor cafe near toilets at lunchtime. Busy but another till soon opened. Soup, toastie and cheese scone plus drinks ordered. Told 30 min wait for hot food. Found seat recently cleaned. Food came in 10 mins. Soup great with 2 small rolls. Coffee large and good. All food fresh and very good. The staff were all very natural and polite , even thanking us on leaving as if a small personal cafe. Great views too. Well done.

Café y tartas aquí son geniales, pero esta vez decidimos probar el pescado y patatas fritas. . . . Qué desastre. El servicio era demasiado rápido. . En recalentadas. rápidamente? El pescado era insípida y las patatas fritas, así que nos fuimos la mitad de ellos. Los guisantes blandos estaban bien, pero los guisantes de jardín habría sido preferible. Me pareció que m y s no comida de calidad. . . Esta comida era sin duda. falta!

Nuestro único problema fue que, con Norwich increíble como lo es para los veganos, la mayoría de los establecimientos vegano no maravilloso abierto hasta al menos diez, y madrugadores. En nuestro segundo día, pensamos que iría a Pret-a-Manger, pero aún no había conseguido su mojo vegano en en ese momento de la mañana, y así terminamos en M&S;.

Stopped here this morning in the ground floor coffee shop. Was very busy on a Saturday, but managed to get a table.Good service from the gentleman taking orders.Had an espresso, not the nicest coffee I've ever had. Shame when paying to sit in, you don't get. Proper cup, but still have a cardboard one.

Four of us recently visited the M&S Norwich café after shopping. In my previous visits to other M&S cafes I have always found the food and drinks to be good but the service at the counter painfully slow despite the number of employees serving who all seemed to be very busy. Pleasantly surprised that this was better service at the counter although could still be quicker. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful to us and we had a nice comfortable seat with elbow room unlike other M&S cafes. Our bacon rolls and coffee etc were very enjoyable and on our experience would certainly recommend for a visit.

Met my sister here recently and we decided to put our feet up from the Christmas crowd and go for a snack and ended up with lunch. We had the soup which was excellent followed by a scone each and I have to say these sort of places are normally expensive but this was great! The staff were so obliging and chatty and were dressed immaculately. Definitely one to visit.

If you are after gluten free cakes, don't come here. If you are a child, they have wrapped shop bought caramel brownie things. But nothing for a grown up. And I don't think they give you a plate if you have one of the wrapped things.

What a let down, the service was atrocious, after 35 minutes we let without any food and 2 out of 3 drinks being served.We went to the upstairs cafe in St Stephens, M & S Norwich, and joined one of the two usual queues. Finally got to the front of the queue in about 10 minutes. I particularly like the courgette bolognaise which I ordered, plain butter jacket for my daughter and new mushroom stroganoff jacket for my husband. 2 hot drinks and a berry smoothie.No courgette, bolognaise or stroganoff jacket, so requested chilli jacket - no not available, then curry and I opted for beef lasagne, you guessed it not available.I then asked what is available - fish & chips, and jackets with limited fillings. So we all ordered jacket potatoes.Paid and sat waiting for the food and smoothie. About 15 minutes we were approached to be told that the berry smoothie wasn't available, but the other two were. I chose the avocado, 5 minutes later the assistant returned saying that too wasn't available. I asked for the one smoothie that was available, as that assistant was leaving us another came to the table to ask if we'd ordered jacket potatoes, we said yes, we were told that they too had run out and that others were being cooked and would be at least another 10 minutes.At this point we indicated our dissatisfaction and indicated that we wanted our money back. The manager was pointed out to us and he was dealing with someone else who gave the impression of not being happy.He agreed to give us our money back, but we had to wait in the queue for the tills again to actually get our money back, when challenged as to why so much of he menu was missing he couldn't offer an explanation. When challenged as to why no advanced warning was given of e problems being faced of those still queuing he said that we can't do that and he would email someone as to what had gone wrong. There appeared to be no willingness on his part to deal with what was going wrong in the store at that time and indeed simply walked away, leaving us in the queue waiting for our refund. We couldn't believe the lack of managerial interest in taking charge of a situation that was continuing to deteriorate. The customer service we always enjoyed with M & S was sadly non existent on this occasion.

People queue as in a canteen and can never be sure of getting a place. Staff totally incompetent and haven't a clue about table etiquette. Training needs to take place outside Norfolk then they can see how most people carry on. Behind the times.This is a shame as M & S food is LOVELY. The coffee is excellent as well. Staff completely let this café down. Also it needs to be bigger.

I am not sure how you can screw up a pot of tea and a fruit scone but these clowns did.I stood in the line, got my fruit scone, ordered a pot of tea, paid and stood there.I waited; they made coffee after coffee and just ignored me, I just watched in amazement as they just kept serving everyone else. I finally had to say “ can I have my of tea”? No wonder Mark and Spencer and failing when they can’t get the basics right.Marks and Spence Café Norwich Norfolk avoid at all cost service worst I have experienced in many years.

Had a drink and cake in upstairs cafe. Service was hectic and unfriendly. Pretentious surroundings. Bakewell tart tasted like chemical. Glad to get out of there.Met members of family some time later in ground floor cafe. Service really very friendly. However, noise of chairs being moved around by the guests was deafening and extremely irritating. Perhaps changing the flooring is Zen option? We decided to cut this visit short to get a coffee elsewhere.Ever sent a mystery shopper to these cafe's, Mr M&S?

Food average tends to be all made up so you cant have exactly what you want long queues and you have to go up to order. Might as well buy in shop downstairs and eat in park.

Often come here with my 7 year old daughter and started a number of years ago with the lure of baby cino hot chocolate. A firm favourite good and pleasant service in clean pleasant surroundings, plenty of toilets which are well stocked and maintain and they also have good fast hand dryers. Breakfast is great tasty and affordable and good quality and a good variety is offered . They are not allowed to take tips but staff are warm, friendly, sincere and polite. Staff smile for free, make eye contact and are happy to help even looking for ad hoc opportunities to help you to relax and enjoy your visit stress free. Will continue to go there. Great customer service!

Coffees average, cakes taste better better from food hall. Few customers, plenty of staff but them seemed very distracted and disorganised. Expensive for what was on offer. We don't plan to return.

Excellent and extremely helpful staff especially when dealing with requests for allergy information, very thorough indeed. However the food just doesn't taste great, it's actually better in the food-hall to take home. The pies should be served with a vegetables accompaniment, not just mash. The spaghetti courgettie was disappointing, better to serve it with real pasta spaghetti not shredded courgettes!

Just paid £7.50 for medium steak pie and dollop of smash. Tea warm. Drizzle cake slightly stale. Have to shout to talk above music and air conditioning. Won't make this mistake again.

To be honest, I haven't tried all the food here, but my recent experience had to be aired. Orford plaice fish and chips was too busy, so I thought I would wander over to M & S to try theirs. I was pleasantly surprised to see "New" and Cod and Chips, for £7.45, so I thought I will have this.I joined the end of a long queue, and soon another till was opened, and everyone behind me jumped in there and left me at the back of the other one, the girl who was serving on my side was incredibly slow! - Isn't it always the case! I decided to have filter coffee as it was quicker. I was given a number and I sat down to wait.Far from me being ageist or anything (I am old myself), but the restaurant was just full of people wandering around so slowly coughing and spluttering, it felt like being in a retirement home! Chairs and deco was of a similar style! - No colour to speak of, just dull, dull, dull. This place needs a revamp!I was pleased that my Cod and chips arrived before I finished my coffee, but I was shocked to see that it was a piece of Birds Eye or Similar Frozen Cod from a packet and the mushy peas looked like green slime from the Ghostbusters film. - Yuck! - I took one mouthful of overcooked chewy fish and a chip and some slime and burned my mouth it was so hot. I decided to leave! - £10 for just one bite!I went back to Orford plaice which had a seat now and enjoyed a beautiful Cod and chips for half the price, fresh and white.

Still in shck at the terrible experience three of us had at the ground floor cafe in M & S.Shocking choice, disgusting bacon roll, rock hard sausage sandwich and scummy tea all for just under £16 !! Oh and a soup served in a card board make shift bowl accmpanied by a piece of rock hard bread.Do yourself a favour and give it a miss !!It's a shame because the food hall is excellent.

I have searched and have noticed that nobody has written a review of the ground floor cafe of Marks and Spencer on rampant horse street.The experience I had whilst visiting was absolutely fantastic!The staff are lovely, friendly and are always polite and willing, the selection of food is varied and of very good quality. I cannot recommend this place enough! :-)

Popped into the Cafe yesterday for lunch and I couldn't see any gluten free sandwiches so one member of staff (her name escapes me) was extremely helpful, going down to look on the shop floor for me. Alas there were none available, but they were able to provide me with gluten free soup and roll, all with very friendly service. Top marks on going that little extra mile.

Just visited the cafe on the second floor. I felt compelled to write a review as my wife and I were delighted with the service. We ordered an afternoon tea on our sparks card for ten pounds, it was excellent. The lovely little mixture of cakes on top were wonderful. Scones were really light and fresh. Staff were very polite and couldn't do enough for us. Cafe was very clean and the staff were all cheerful. Well done m and s we will be back and can recommend to anyone how good the service and food was.

Food thrown down on the table, no glass offerred for orange juice, had to ask for one, it was hot. Stained tables, silent waitress in really baad mood, nice jacket potato. Menu had gluten free symbol for gf bread with soup but no symbols on naturally gf food. Used to be so much better with different food

Had a very good experience on the second floor cafe. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Very good window views of the street, really clean. A great selection of hot food, and luxury hot chocolate was amazing. Food came out very quickly brought to our table. Very good value for money. Came back for an afternoon tea which was lovely. Will be going back for another visit.

Lovely cafe up on the first floor, quiet and away from the hustle of shoppers. Staff really friendly and welcoming. We had coffee & walnut cake and Victoria sponge with delightful drinks which gave us a boost for continued Christmas shopping

A really good selection of food available all beautifully displayed. Really good to see that they had skimmed milk available for a delicious latte. Ordered the smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel. When it arrived, I had a plate with a bagel sliced open (so it had gone cold), a very small pile of smoked salmon on the plate and a pot of cream cheese. Clearly a "DIY" job! I then had to get up to get black pepper and a knife. No lemon juice/slice available which is pretty standard for this dish. All a bit "get on with it yourself because we haven't got time to do it ourselves"!

In the last 5 weeks I have visited the cafe 3 times at around 1oc each time queuing for 20 minutes to find once I am at the front of the queue the food I wanted to order has run out and my second choice of hot food had also run out. Once isn't great but 3 times in the last few weeks is ridiculous for a store of this size! Very disappointed as the staff are lovely and so is the food if you can get some.

For the last three weeks I have visited this restaurant for a mid morning snack. All three times the tea pots have been chipped. This has been the lid, the spout or both. I don't find this at all acceptable in a greasy spoon let alone M and S. Don't the staff check? I return because I have an account and therefore I get 'free' coffee or tea. Also the table tops are white and they are stained and have been ever since the cafe had a makeover a long time ago. They could do with bleaching or replacing. Food was fine, service was fine and next time I go in the tea pot is being returned if it's chipped regardless of any queue behind me, although I think all the pots must be damaged or I would not get one three weeks running.

The café at the top of the store has a good view of the surrounding streets, with both the cathedral and the castle just about visible if you sit in the right place. The staff are cheerful and courteous and the tea is not too weak. Extra hot water is available if needed. Not so enjoyable at peak times, but generally quite quiet around 5 pm. A simple, unpretentious café in a department store, but it I like the ambiance. Light meals are also available, which I haven't tried.

Food, service and price was great. Can get busy so finding a table can be tricky. Good it is always clean and is always great for a coffee or a bit of lunch

Had a quick lunch at the cafe on the ground floor in M & S Norwich, it was great, the service was brilliant. While we were waiting for the kids lunches the guy behind the counter gave them some biscuits which was helpful! Really enjoyed it and good value.

A short shopping trip in the rain around lunch time brought us to M & S for a quick bite and a drink. You can usually guarantee the level of service at Marks' and this was no exception. My partner and I opted to have the tomato and basil soup and glad we did, it was souperlicious and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff and service brilliant and the usual level. Would recommend the soup and would obviously return. It's a ten from Len to coin a phrase.

For some reason M&S have got rid of the table service in the café. It was always a delight and the staff clearly enjoyed working there. Now when you walk in you just see a row of help yourself fridges. A much inferior experience and we don't go anymore.

I'm quite shocked really to read such negative reviews of my local M&S and I think largely it's major pomposity. Everytime I have visited M&S I have been greeted with second to none customer service and outstanding quality. If you're looking for somewhere to pop in for a sandwhich/salad pot I highly reccomend M&S, the Super Nut Quino pot with tahini is gorgeous and such good value for money! STOP BEING BITTER! :)

I just visited m&s with my two kids. We all had the ultimate burger with cheese and bacon as a meal deal with chips and a drink all for £7.The chips were fantastic and the burger divine with chilli relish, gherkins, cheese, bacon, rocket and a special sauce. The burger has to be at least an inch thick and cooked to perfection. A fantastic meal cooked quickly and really filling. Thanks to all the staff for providing excellent service :)

We often pop in here for a latter and a toasted sandwich,my husband has the ham and cheese and I have the mushroom and cheese, sometimes I also have a small side salad which is very tasty. It CAN get very busy in the coffee lounge and there can be queues and therefor service slower but all in all worth a visit.Usual Marks and Spencer's standard.

We visited Marks and Spencer's cafe in Norwich today at lunchtime. no trays available and no staff available to replenish the empty shelfs. Very few cakes and sandwiches and no staff to replenish the empty shells. I did manage to get the last toasted sandwich and had to wait 30 minutes for it to be toasted and returned to me. The most appalling service at a very expensive price. The staff there have my absolute sympathy. This was pure and flagrant slave labour. Marks and Spencer's, SHAME ON YOU.

This is the worst place to eat the staff are not knowledgeable and get things wrong... From the moment we ordered it was down hill. Cups dirty food not heated after paying for it. No cutlery or glasses when asked for a glass we were told to use a paper cup.lots of lovely places to eat avoid here.

If you want a quick snack for lunch then this is the place. Their jacket potatoes are well presented and reasonably priced and there is a wide range of fresh sandwiches. The restaurant is always busy and sometimes it may be a job to find a table but the staff clear the empty tables very quickly and we have always found somewhere to sit. The store also has clean and fresh toilets.

Went down to the cafe on the ground floor of M & S for something to eat and drink after shopping with an elderly relative who has trouble walking. The place was packed and it was difficult trying to find her a seat, let alone find somewhere to put her shopping (the bays were full). It's a shame because the food and drink were nice. We will probably go elsewhere for lunch as it isn't practical to take her there. When I'm on my own I much prefer Jarrod or Debenhams as their cafes/restaraunts are much more spacious even when they're full, never claustrophobic.

Was very disappointed today, had arranged with friends to visit the restaurant for lunch, it wasn't very good, food was very poor and we will not be going again !!!! Did make a complaint to the manager but he didn't have any answers to why it was so poor!!!
