Marks and Spencer in Fife

Be very careful of food being sold best before same date of purchase. I bought £9 of product at full price without realising they are best before same day of purchase. When sharing disappointment to m&S staff the next day, they confirmed that I should have checked the dates. Shame.

Onions covered in mould two days after purchase. Grubs on broccoli, cooked meat not properly sealed, sticky bottles of fresh orange juice. Tall male ‘manager’ exceptionally rude when discussing the problem. Interrupting as what he has to say is far more important than the customers view.

Broccoli 🥦 came with free grubs! Not the type one might get in a vegetable patch in a garden or farm fields but the type one might find on rotten meat. Cooked chicken packet not sealed properly so we can’t risk eating that. When in store yesterday I tried to buy freshly squeezed orange juice I found all the bottles dripping with sticky juice. Clearly a bottle of Juice had leaked at some point during storage and transit. The bottles simply needed cleaning. I approached a nearby young staff member who lied to me by telling me that all of the bottles come in that state. I had not noticed that, but I have only been buying from M & S as an adult for 40 years so what so I know? I spoke to the manager next. She took my details to pass to head office but warned me that head office were unlikely to reply. Did I mention the more than an hour long telephone call to M & S? Mostly on hold.

Excellent M and S food we found on our stay in St Andrews. Shop in M and S every week at home and found this one very well stocked!

Have visited St Andrew's twice in the last 12 months and visited M&S for our food - the service provided by the staff I have found to be exceptional also the controls for our safety due to the Covid situation in place - at this store - is by far the best that I have come across - so well done to all the excellent staff we your customers owe you a big THANK YOU

Tasty crunchy granola with milk and other breakfast delights readily available. Lunch time snacks and high quality fresh fruit.

El personal también cumple con todos los protocolos cuando entra a la tienda a comprar. El personal es amable y le da una cálida bienvenida que lo hace sentir a gusto durante estos tiempos extraños y con nuestras nuevas normales de compras. Visité a un amigo para comprar algunas golosinas para un picnic en la playa. Una buena variedad de opciones de comida para elegir para nuestro picnic y algunos dulces para disfrutar también. Los nuevos yumnuts fueron un sabroso manjar. Considerándolo todo, una pequeña tienda preciosa. ????????????

Just can’t praise staff enough at Marks and Spencer simply food St Andrews, my husband has been doing the shopping since lockdown , he has asked me too post a great big thank you too all the staff for working so hard and safely.

A good selection of nibbles and snacks. There is a selection of wines and beers, fruit packs and biscuits.

Alquilamos un apartamento con cocina y tuvimos que comer fuera o hacer el nuestro. Bueno, eso de hacer el nuestro se hizo muy fácil con Marks & Spencer. Nunca tendrías que cocinar desde cero tan bien como pudieras hacerlo aquí. Simplemente compre una selección de comidas preparadas de su gran selección y estará listo para comenzar. Solo calienta y come.

Small friendly shop, ideal for snacks and pop if your staying at the Premier Inn next door. Have a good range condensed into a small area

Excellent store, really useful being next door to Premier Inn which meant we had a nice packed lunch to take home on the train for a great price.

This is where I went to buy higher end edible souvenirs. There is a decent choice of "typical" British/Scottish foodstuffs to purchase to take home.

We often go into Marks & Spencer for coffee and cakes when we are in town. The coffee is always good and the cakes are excellent.

Was very appreciative of the helpful member of staff who helped me find everything in a store I had not visited previously . All the usual great selection of M&S food

Tiene todo lo que necesita y algunos alimentos deliciosos extra especiales para elegir también. Un montón de frutas y verduras frescas, una buena selección de carnes y comidas preparadas junto con todos los suministros normales. Quite a nice marks and Spencer food shop handy if you need something nice to eat next to the premier inn.

A great place to exchange money and buy stuff. Highly recommended. I especially enjoyed the food sections.

On a personal basis, I had been hoping that a Marks and Spencer store would open in St Andrews. Now in its second year, the M&S; Foothill really is a boon to the town! Under the guidance of Managers Derek and Campbell, the staff are always very pleasant, welcoming and helpful. I cannot praise them highly enough!

This is a relatively new store, having just been opened for over a year.

Great that this store is now open in St Andrews as we normally have to bring our food with us from another store. The store is well laid out with plenty stock and a good selection.

Did not fancy walking into town for a meal or eating at the Premier Inn so popped into M&S; for a sandwich, fruit and a well deserved glass of wine to take back to the room.

Well I go There for my shopping every now and then and it's perfectly fine however the staff are no quite up to expectations.not very helpful. And this m&s; does not have much food on offer
