We visit the market hall at least twice a month. All our meat comes from there as they are supplied straight from the farms around them. Nearly all the produce in the market hall comes from local manufacturers which is great for all, we enjoy our visits as the people are friendly always willing to have a chatter and the outside market has some great stalls too.

Best fish & chip shop in the north

As good a portion of fish and chips as I've had in a long time. Travelled from Manchester for a drive, and found a replacement for grandma pollards. Fish was fresh and everything cooked to perfection. Icing on the cake the staff were very helpful and friendly. Will be returning.

I have traveled all over for some good Fish & Chips and just recently tried this place, it as to be my Favourite with Kay’s at Cleveleys Blackpool 2nd. I have been three times and it’s always delicious, my wife say the staff are so friendly.

I travel all over the northwest with work so I do tend to eat in far too many cafes and takeaways some good some not but this old style English chippy with its traditional chippy menu is a gem of a place every time I’ve been the foods been spot on and such friendly staff it’s nice to find these hidden gems

It was a nice meal. I ordered the large fish and chips, but to be honest, I've had regular fish and chips that were larger. But we enjoyed the meal, the staff were friendly and it wasn't expensive. I would call again if we were in the area again.

Best and friendliest chippy in todmorden area

Decided to pop in for lunch, it's a little chippy, quite old fashioned inside with a seating area serving a variety of food. Staff friendly. I had a breakfast sarnie with a coffee whilst my friend had fish chips peas with coffee and b&b. Worth a visit if your passing and not looking for anything posh !

Lovely couple who run this place. Its known locally as a chippy but offers much more than fish and chips! Fresh, home cooked food with great service and atmosphere.

What a great place to eat.i have been going here all my life and never had a bad experience.the food is always amazing with large portions and such a wide range of food to choose from.the owners are fantastic and always so gratefull and pleasant and make you feel at home.you can either eat in or take out and the prices are not over the top like some places.this is a must try place

Best all round chippy in Todmorden/Walsden. The staff are really friendly regardless of how busy they are. Decent prices as well which is always a bonus
