Mariyas red chilli takeaway in Stoke-on-Trent

We had ordered an onam sadya from the hotel today for a family. And the quantity of the food was really disappointing. There was not even enough for all of us. The food was ok,but the service was very poor. Need improvement in service. Too disappointed😳😳😳😳

Very different curry than the norm,it came with very little sauce, I might have ordered the wrong curry. I will definitely go again.

The food is tasty and recommended. however, some staff pick and dig customers' personal information unnecessarily.

Good food, I mostly just get tubs of rice for work but I've had butter chicken and other curries, always tastes good and you get to watch them make it if you're in the shop. Just have to make sure to ask for things not too spicy because obviously the way they make it, it'll be hot. So just clarify you want it not spicy, if you're basic and white like me! haha.

I have ordered a chicken biriyani after having a hectic shift, but it actually disappointed me having no salt in rice as well as in chicken and there is no constant taste. Sometimes it tastes good as my friends have ordered the same item last day.

Good for south indian kerala food

Ordered a £30 worth of food and drink. 2.5 hrs later no food, called the takeaway and they hadn't printed the order. Arrived somewhat 39 mins later. Cold food, bits of chicken bones in the currys along with chicken cartridge. Watery curry sauces, fried roast chicken bits. Cold nan and not buttery as ordered, no drinks arrived. Left a review for them to refund as was so disgusting went in the bin, but they didn't publish our review. We heard good things about this takeaway , that's why we tried it. But never again. It's not worth a penny, or having bits of chicken bone and cartridge lodged in your throat. Would never order again. Yuk!!!!!!!!!!

One of the best south indian restraunts where we can taste the exact fruit of the spices. My partner who is english always order one of chef's signature dishes fish molly and parotta which gives immense taste to the british toungues !!!

This is very good food, staff was friendly. I ordered butter chicken with naan bread. It eas amazing we had a great time eating this food. We think it is the best innthe world. We will be coming back soon.

I had Kappa Biriyani ( A kerala dish- Cassava and Beef with special masala and spices) from here. I ordered ahead of reach there, the order was ready on time and it was found to be hot. The staff were friendly. We ordered 2, but it had a good quantity. But, taste wise, it was not the best. When you miss kerala, go for it. Or else, I should have said this is not what Kappa Biriyani means. I gave it 5 stars as it is a new venture. Wishing them all the best.

The food I order from here is usually ready so I'm in and out in a matter of seconds. However tonight I had to wait a couple of minutes and had the misfortune of witnessing the grimy conditions in there. The counter and entrance door were filthy and I was sticking to the floor when I moved. Also one of the servers had a bandage on his thumb with blood seeping through. It's such a shame as it's the best Indian food I've ever eaten but I can't see me going again and what I got tonight I've now got no appetite for.😔

Ordered this evening after hearing a good review from someone else. Onion bahjis were delicious. I had the Nadan mutton curry, pulav rice and garlic nan. The curry was nice but too spicy for my taste. Rice soft and fluffy and the nan was different but quite nice. I think the menu could do with descriptions and spice levels to help potential customers choose to their tastes.

Just had the chicken kothu porotta absolutely gorgeous and that goes for everything else we had, best onion bhajis around. Nice and friendly staff too
