Marius Fish Bar ( Maypole) in Birmingham

Food was cold and stale we order from here regularly but the last few times the quality of the food has been so poor and they have been getting orders wrong

got sent a frozen cake. I'm sure it will be nice tomorrow when I'll be able to eat it

Just had our delivery it was absolutely stone cold every single item so we’ve had to reheat them absolutely disgusting

I love Marius pizza however the fries let it down this time. They were solid and hard and not really edible. Shame but not a common occurrence.

I’m really shocked to see so many horrible reviews because we had chippy from here today for the first time And I wish I took photos fish was amazing chips was brilliant my mum had chicken and she so fussy when comes to chicken but she absolutely loved it the curry sauce to loved it We definitely will return

When I order hot food, I don't expect it to arrive chilled, because you decide to put it in the same bag as a piece of cake you just took out of the fridge. Then tie the bag tight.

Order was wrong I ordered chicken doner in nan and I've get doner in nan , instead of pepsi 500ml they tend me cola cola 500ml with is not right without asking costumer

got lost and didn't get a code it is 0002

Absolutely shocking. This place needs closing down. Complete scam. Microwaved my meal right in front of me and gave me this rubbish

used to go here CONSTANTLY when i lived around the area. not the best chippy by any means but it does its job! and it does have some good deals compared to other shops!

Only really go for the nibletts or Masala fish in pitta never been disappointed staff friendly too

forgot chips with both meals and 3 lots of dips told me have to wait longer for them to drop it off they are busy spent over £45 disappointing

Paid for four meals only got three (plus missing extra can drink). Donner wrap meal was bland. Menu said they give free popadoms when spending over £10, however “none left” gave no sauce unlike every other establishment. Don’t waste your time, find another place.

Found a fried rat in my food with maggots inside also found a boiled fly in my burger also chillie and mayo tasted terrible also poor quality deliver all of my sauces leaked out the bag all over my fried rat and boiled flys also a pair of double A batteries was found in my chips.

An OK chippy. Oil was a bit stae/ old so flavour not great.

Order arrived really fast from time of order. Pizza had one piece of pepperoni on and was undercooked. The meat on the chicken wings were black. Half full boxes of fries. Garlic bread was burnt and hard. Wouldn't recommended, won't be ordering again.

It is a very fine, clean looking takeaway, BUT absolutely rabish taste of food. Not fresh and not even properly cooked. I am sorry but I have to write an honest opinion about this takeaway after encountering their food.

Bunch of illiterates, ill mannered and unhygienic. Food tastes like it should as only Caucasians will eat there lol.... No taste at all and prices are crazy. Just drive down to Moseley road or catch a bus

The chicken kebab was burnt. The chocolate concrete was ok.

Their chips are the best anywhere. Nice portions and tasty SF chicken, kebab meat, large fish, large sausage or Saveloy also great Pizza 🍕 staff could not do more for you

Terrible. Took ages, pizza was cold and just did not taste right at all, the pizza sauce was very off putting. Chicken and chips were soggy, donner meat was ok. Wouldn’t order again.

Stated on menu a bottle of coke at 1.5ltr was given a bottle of coke 1.25ltr not good enough when you are paying alot more for it anyway.

The keema naan, I had to pull it open to look for the keema… I was so disappointed that I took a picture. Rice & Chicken curry was nice, but the amount was not enough 😫😫😫

Poor food pizza was cold fries were soggy had to air fry them, the chicken was crispy on one side soggy on the other would actually love a refund. Best thing about the whole thing was the cans of pop!

Ordered 3 portions of chicken wings, should have been 30 in total, and received 19. They were vile, and the bbq ones tasted like they had just vinegar on them, spicy ones weren't spicy, and they looked Revoluting. Didn't eat them, still awaiting a refund for the 11 that were missing. First time ordering from here and won't be doing it again

Gorgeous vegetarian pizza. I had ordered a meat special as well, my housemate said it was really spicy so have a feeling the order may have been incorrect but still a great pizza, coleslaw was good and the chicken strips wonderful!

Pizza was not eaten as the toppings where crunchy (over cooked) it went in the bin.

Excellent food quality, prepared and ready 5 minutes earlier than estimated. Keep up the great job!
