Pizza Hut Birmingham New St in Birmingham

First time eating in the restaurant. Service was excellent, food was very good & the Salad Bar had a good variety of choice. Definitely recommend the restaurant for a quick bit to eat, whether that's for Lunch or Dinner.

I’ve had better, I’ve had worse. I’m a big fan of any Pizza Hut and when I saw how convenient the one in the Bullring was I was pretty excited. Server was a kind young man who was very happy to answer any of our questions and the food came out in decent time. My pizza was a little overcooked but it still went down a treat, but my only concern was that the place needed a lick of paint. It didn’t seem run down or anything whatsoever but it was just a little scruffy in some places towards the ceiling and the front of the restaurant does not look as good as the massive space at the back. The massive space was not in use which didn’t confuse me at all because I assume it was overflow but it just seemed off to me that they put a lot of investment into that area of the restaurant and not the main, more used front part. Decent little experience though, would come back again.

A good option for good and cheap food around the Bullring in Birmingham. I got a deal where I could get a melt + salad + fries + soft drink + ice cream for £15. The staff was really friendly and helpful. I do only wish the place was a bit cleaner especially around the areas where customers get their drinks and ice cream.

When we first entered the place we where disappointed to see there was alot of steps. So wasn't very accommodating for children especially when we had a pushchair. The restaurant was bloody freezing door wide open at top of the stairs and air con was on high which made the children's lips blue its winter and it was also snowing. Meal was lovely shame it went cold so quick because of how cold the place was. Would of been nice to be offered our sides/ starters before the pizza came out alby the time we got to the pizza it was freezing. Also missed being able to get the hot sauce that used to be offered

Went here yesterday afternoon before catching my train home from New Street. Waitress was very good, helped me connect to WIFI and how to use app to order. And as promised food arrived quickly and I had plenty of time to catch my train

Delicious pizza and sides, but so expensive

I went to this place today. Well the menu was bit complicated and the process to order was bit hard may be fir me as I visited there first time but the worker over there kayal so nice she never mind as we asked her so many times the questions she made us comfortable. Really nice and the manger girl was nice sammy. Recommended.

It was peacefully quiet and I enjoyed the lack of people in at the time. The service was quick and I didn’t have to wait too long.

Nice and quiet location, even at busy times. Staff very friendly and attentive. Food was excellent, with plenty of vegan options. Vegan cheesecake was outstanding. You have to order by app, but it wasn’t difficult. My only gripe was because we were sitting at the back, we were near the back door so could smell cigarettes from outside, which was unpleasant, as well as being in a draught.

Very poor customer service, they tell us to connect to wifi and order and they don't take orders at the table and their wifi is damn slow it takes 5mins to connect and load. Also even if there are a lot of empty tables they ask us to wait. simply waste.

Pizza took an hour. Said it would be refunded. Wasn't refunded.

I went for a pizza buffet.. You have to use your phone to order online now.. which is a little bit of a pain because it's in the basement so connecting via mobile data was very slow and frustrating- then trying to connect to their "free WiFi" was also just as painful. After an age eventually managed to pay and eat. The pizzas were delicious as was the tomato pasta - and the salad bar very fresh.. Waited forever for a glass of water. It was pretty busy though. Staff every friendly probably could have done with more on the floor. Food was lovely though.

This should have been the red flag to leave but we were keen to have a Pizza Hut since it's been awhile. As regular delivery customers we wanted to try the sit in, I wish we hadn't. The server wasn't very friendly and there was not enough staff in the restaurant to attend to all the customers at the time we visited. We ordered over £70 worth of food which was fine when it arrived. We had to ask for the drinks glasses after the mains arrived before the glasses. When we reached dessert and having dirty plates on our table for 20+ mins we asked two separate servers if we could please have the ordered desserts (We ordered via the QR code as requested). A further 30 minutes passed and nothing arrived after asking once more. We walked out which nobody noticed and didn't receive the desserts ordered. A dire experience with staff who didn't care less in a restaurant that felt like a graveyard.

Very polite and attentive service and the pizza was fresh and tasty.

Went late on a Saturday night so was very very quiet. Feels like a company waiting to go bankrupt. Service was amazing. Attentive and friendly. The pizza looked great but looked a little underdone. I ended up with severe stomach ache for two days due to undercooked pizza. Never knew yeast could hurt so much. Maybe my fault having a deep pan. My girlfriend had a thin and crispy and suffered so such problems. Not sure I would risk again. Shame as I used to love Pizza Hut but I think the time is nigh. Many other options available with better quality at a similar price point.

Down stairs (basement possibly where 1970's pub bombings were 😵). Had voucher for free kids meal (granddaughter as a treat in school holidays)...couldn't get a signal. Was a right pain...up and down the stairs I went to try get a code. In the end I paid for her meal. Ended up spending more than I'd intended. Plus server was not best pleased with me as I had faffed around so long. Winter go to that venue again.

Turned up at half 7 (31/8) and was greeted at the door and was given a table straight away, was told how to order though the website and was checked on throughout, food came quickly and was given a box to take home. 2 young guys on, amazing!

I've been here a few times no complaints. Enjoyed a hot and spicy chicken pizza thin base this time with a few work colleagues.

Awful experience - service was poor, chips were inedible, poor quality pizza’s and felt like we were in a dungeon. Toilets would definitely fail on hygiene ratings, they are appalling. Good luck with the improvements!!!

Probably the worst pizza we have ever eaten! Pizza Hut has definitely reduced its quality over the years. My wife's pizza was inedible, the sides of onion rings and fries were beyond a joke, they were cold and soggy. The restaurant itself is a bit of a dungeon.

Really disappointing trip, won’t be back. Most of the staff looked like they would rather be elsewhere. Food not topped up, no signage with food (no idea what we were eating). Restaurant was not clean. Order messed up. Pizza Hut forcing guests to order online and pay by card will eventually eliminate an already dwindling customer base, very short sighted, all in the name of cost saving.

We went to Pizza Hut New Street to celebrate my daughter getting into university, our server Arron was so attentive, nothing was too much for him, we had a lovely evening. I would definitely recommend this restaurant

Visited at 4 pm for late lunch. Staff very friendly one lad was new and we ordered some drinks they didn’t have - but very apologetic about it. Made amends. Very busy when we left so must be popular! Used meerkat meals so was a bargain.

Came here for the lunch time buffet, which was kept well-stacked throughout. Good for a quick meal whilst shopping. Quite a small Pizza Hut, so ideal for couples and smaller groups, rather than big parties.

Been a few times, i don't like using the scan thing on the table, it's to long winded, just tell a staff member what you want job done, no faff, plus it's nice to talk to a person instead of looking at a phone.

It's not disabled friendly as it has steps going down to the food.

Only on waitress dinner time it was a really busy day.

The waiter came asking if I wanted more cups and charged me at the end of the meal even if I paid before eating he could have told me that I had to pay for them.

Really bad service. After 30 minutes we received raw pizza nobody took it off from the table.Nobody cares about the costumer, everyone is ignoring you. No standards at all!!

It's in a random location in a basement so no natural light and can feel a bit claustrophobic. You have to order from a QR code and it's a no cash site. Which was okay but being in a basement signal wasn't great and WiFi would only work on one of our phones which was annoying also whilst your entertaining little ones at the same time. It feels like a better system should be in place or at least just take food orders and pay chip and pin. Unless this was put into place due to their own signal issues due to being in a basement. The food was all really nice, well stocked and hot. There were lots of options which adults and children enjoyed.

Ordering of food was straightforward and easy. Food was hot and looked fresh.

The pizza itself is good. Not outstanding. The toppings are relatively varied. The value is good, based on the rising prices elsewhere. Staff are well trained and very helpful. The interior is a little dark, but in good working order and clean.

Never had any issues with pizza hut. Paying for the buffet option is a good way to eat lots of pizza and not pay too much. The individual pizzas are a little pricey.

Taste was disgusting, didn't even put peppers on the pizza and the chicken was dry...hardly any sauce.. don't think ill be eating from here again.

Brought out food very quickly. Waitress helped us to pack the leftovers. Even gave me a little bag. Lovely experience.

I've visited Pizza Hut both on my own and with my partner, and I always appreciate the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere when it's not too busy. Even when some disruptive kids caused a disturbance, the staff handled the situation with ease and professionalism. On top of that, we always seem to get some extra chips during our visits - can't complain about that! Overall, Pizza Hut is a great place to enjoy a casual meal and unwind, with friendly staff who know how to keep the peace. Highly recommend!

Little quiet but lovely little pizza hut x

Popped in for a quick bite to eat over the weekend and had a great experience. My partner and I both have food allergies and Cassie made us feel very welcome. She explained what we could eat and we heard her explaining it to the kitchen so they were aware. The Pizzas we had were nice and the service was very quick, we were in and out within 40 minutes.

Small entrance could easily miss it! We had the lunchtime buffet which was great (unlimited) staff were quick, efficient and friendly would call again no problem 👍

I'm coeliac and have a garlic allergy and my partner is gluten intolerant. The staff made us feel welcome and were well informed about allergies when I had questions about the food. Shout out to Cassie who was very helpful. Thanks

It's pizza hut. It's pretty standard.

Popped in here for some lunch with a few mates. You're encouraged to order food via a QR code, but with the restaurant being underground there isn't any signal so diners have to rely on the WiFi which is a bit of an effort to sort out. Luckily the waitress was happy to take the order the old fashioned way and we enjoyed some lovely pizzas and sides from the salad bar.

Great place, the food was great very warm. The staff were also friendly and was a good atmosphere.

The food was really Nice, I booked online for a lunch meal with a work college. It took ages to be seated and then once seated, we was pounced on I think his name was James but don't have the receipt to hand regarding the buffet i booked online and had to pay upfront didnt even get to order any drinks. This just annoyed me and ruined my experience. The restaurant is very small and they was slow at refilling the buffet but what was available was nice.

This place is usually crowded. I went during Christmas season. There were several food stalls as part of the Christmas market. So I got seat without rush and queue. There was not much wait time after ordering the food. The staff were friendly and responsive. When I went, the gents restroom didn't had lock. Note: The restaurant is located underground. So there is no mobile signals. You will have to use the PizzaHut wifi for ordering the food. This place accepts only card. No cash payments accepted.

This is the pizza hut in Birmingham City centre. Went here before walking around the Christmas market. Some of the order was missing, so we had to ask and wait for ages for it to be given to us. There was a tupper ware box under the ice cream machine that had what looked like moldy food in it and the toilets were not clean, although the manger had ticked off the sheet to say they were without checking while we were there.

What in the hell has happened to Pizza hut. Doesn't accept cash and you have to order on your phone (as it is in a basement phone signal is not great). Starters are now sides, so when you order everything comes at the same time. Garlic bread was cold and hard when it arrived. Chicken wings were good, guess you don't get bbq sauce anymore. By the time we had eaten our garlic bread and chicken wings, our pizzas were cold. I think this was partly because they were both under cooked. Very very tight on toppings. Had one small piece of chicken, with a couple of pieces of sweetcorn and a thin slice of pepper per slice. So bad that when it arrived thought it was a margaretta... £66 for 2 people... Seriously over priced. Only redeeming feature was one of the waitresses that served us.. Very friendly.

I've just got in Wednesday 8th December 2022, from visiting Pizza Hut New Street Birmingham. I had Pizza Hut on my mind all day, thinking about how much salad that I am going to load onto my plate, being as I am a vegetarian. We got into Pizza Hut New Street Birmingham feeling extremely hungry. We ordered our food, l chose Cheese n Macaroni, and was looking forward to the salad. We were served, l started to eat the Cheese n Macaroni, paused...it was not piping hot but warmish (so I was not happy with the temperature of the food). I later went to get some salad, l made my way eagerly to the salad bar, l saw empty containers, the member of staff had already cleared away all the salad whilst there were still customers in the restaurant. We were new customers and already they started to clear away the salad (which they should of left until all customers had left). I sat down very dissatisfied and carried on eating the warmish Cheese n Macaroni with no enthusiasm! To make matters worse, as we ate the staff started cleaning, l do not want to be sitting there with staff passing by holding a bug dirty full bag of rubbish, and passing by our table holding a large blue dust bin. Neither do l want to see staff cleaning and dismantling items, and leaving a dirty brush stick behind my daughter's back while she was eating. The atmosphere was not correct. When l use to work in restaurants, we (waited) for the last customers to leave, then and only then we started to clear away the food/buffet bar, and cleaned up. The only cleaning that should be done in view of the customers, is when customers have either finished with thier plate and awaiting more food, or when other customers have left thier table the plates and cups should be removed and the table cleaned and reset for the next customers. If food or whatever is on the floor, yes it should be cleaned up asap. I do not want to be eating and watching staff dismantling items and the salad bar behind my back. I came in especially for the salad. I do not want to feel that l have to rush eating, when the staff are clearing away far too early. This was my experience of Pizza hut New St Birmingham on my first and probably last visit. There are timing issues there, and food temperature issues too!

Food was good. Staff are nice. Unfortunately its online service but being in a basement not everyone got service. The toilets were absolutely awful. I know we went on at a super busy time (christmas market) but it still wasn't acceptable. Not wheelchair/pushchair friendly at all.

It's not the same as it was prior to 2017: food is odd textured, stale, just dead. The service couldn't have been slower either. Pizza express is the better option

I choose buffet. There is no much choice unfortunately but the food is qualitatively very good. You can pay online on your phone and you're all set. Ice-cream factory is awesome, toilets clean, stuff nice. Not much space but still reasonable enough so you can eat peacefully.

As a huge company as Pizza Hut this New Street restaurant is the worst iv ever visited especially in a large city as Birmingham, it’s down stairs dark dismal in total it’s awful, I love Pizza Hut but unfortunately I wouldn’t go and eat here again!!

Hot and Spicy pizza was not even spicy

Hardly any salad at the salad bar. Few onions, lettuce, carrot and sour coleslaw apart from that nothing else. Food came 40 min late. Quality has completely gone down. Coke was also stale. Won't visit again.

Not been in any Pizza Hut for years. Great atmosphere, could do with a bit of modernisation but overall its very good. Look at my other reviews and 👍
