Mario's Pizza in Charnwood

TBH, I have heard really good things about Marios but have never experienced it myself, all the times I've been there. I finished work, and it was the only place open, so, against my better judgement, i tried it again. This place should be closed down for extortion! They are located in the centre of town to exploit people who are drunk! It has to be the only reason they make any money, their chips are burnt and their chicken is dry! I would definitely not recommend this place if you're sober! I will definitely not be using it again

I have been using this marios for 2 maybe 3 years and never had any trouble with them they have amazing food there tower burgers are on point

Away on business and thought I’d use Uber Eats instead of going to the hotel restaurant. This place was given a rating of 4 on Uber - I should have checked Tripadvisor before ordering. Live every other review - my delivery was 40 minutes late being delivered. I ordered at 6:15 on a Monday night - are they really that busy on a Monday?? When I called to chase my order the guy was pretty rude. I suspect he spends most of his night fielding upset customers! When it arrived. Soggy chips and a kebab with zero salad or sauce. Disgusting. Please…..read the reviews and avoid like the plague.

pizza tastes like a sponge and stevie wonder mustve cut it up, came cold and arrived 40 minutes late, messed up my order too

I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. Terrible service and terrible food. Avoid at all cost.

Three times now worst was the wong order and just dumped pineapple on top photos can twice as pics don’t lie you pay for a pizza not half of one go somewhere else as a rip off. Manager said he was took it back and just throwing pineapple on the top which ment a cold pizza photos don’t like avid before lockdown and lock down was good pizzas never going again ever would not of FEd it by dog as nothing on it.

Food was late by approximately 45 minutes and not that nice at all chips was very soggy I wouldn’t recommend for anyone to come here

Gave the guy a £20 note and he tried to give me change for a tenner because I was a little drunk and he thought he'd get away with it. Gave me the extra tenner back when I pointed it out, it was no accident.

I ordered a.chicken kebab which was dreadful it came with chicken and veg In a box with ONE pitta bread on top. It took a while to get here so i called and asked when my food would get here and they were very rude on the phone and said cancel your order then if you can’t wait. Very disappointed with the foood and customer survive. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went in after work for a big scran after work. The guy who served me was lovely, had a little chat with him and he even threw in a free can of dr pepper! So sweet and always my local, everytime i have been they are accommodating and calm and collected even when its manic after a night out the staff always keep their cool and serve as fast as poss. Also cant go too far wrong with two for one pizza! YUM

My order was 40 mins late .. that’s nearly 2 hours of waiting. When I rang they was very rude and then when they turned up he rang me and I couldn’t here him he screamed at me down the phone saying I’m out side can you hear me now I dint want to go out there I had to walk half way up the car park to collect my food he should bring it to the door for me and leave it on the floor during this horrible time. It was late and I had to walk in my pjs to him and I was scared after he slammed his door I just grabbed my food and shot in awful service .

Booked a takeaway and waited over 2 hours. Then the manager argued with my wife. Totally incompetent and useless

Special kebab to share with my husband who doesn't like all the sauces. Young man gave me chilli sauce and garlic mayo in separate pots. Also put in extra pitta. Really lovely meal. Salad is very fresh and meat is delicious.
