Mario's Fast Food in Nottingham

Ordered 2 beef cheeseburger and fries this evening from this restaurant. Food arrived in time but the food was poor quality. The beef burgers were in fact lamb burgers which were not what we ordered and the cucumber slices looked rotten and old like they were a week old! The lettuce and onions had a rank taste and were absolutely disgusting! Most of the food went in the bin as we deemed it unsafe for human consumption….. safe to say we will NOT be returning customers. Please see photos of the cucumbers & salad.

Ordered 5 apna style and 1 chees pizza had ordered puzza before they were nice but on this delivery it was the worse pizza i had in my life absolutely no teste just filled with cheese and chillis will never ever place order again

Very impressed with Mario's. I have been coming here for years. They have had a revamp of the shop since i last went in and added things to the menu. I recommend the masala fish, chips and donner in a nan. I writing this before I have even finished my food it's that nice.

Had ordered food over an hour ago and the guy hasn’t even started preparing the food when asked how long until the food is ready he said I’m just making it now

Rude delivery drivers who bring attitude and try to intimidate a woman at 12:30 am in the morning because of a misinformation on my part of no door number on the order. This man proceeded to go on about this issue and intimidated me at my door raising his voice rambling on and not letting me get a word in. I told him on the phone what number it was over and over, he continued at my door I even asked politely for him to keep his voice down as he started going on as soon as he got out of the car asking me why I was being rude I told him there was a baby upstairs sleeping he said I dont care. I don’t expect to be intimidated over a minor issue at those times in the morning. I called to complain to the shop and they also was only speaking about the fact I didn’t put a number. But I have a just eat account so my number should have been on there, and not sure why it wasn’t this time which I didn’t even have the chance to explain. I had to end up closing the door because I wasn’t able to speak to this driver as he was raged, and speaking so fast not letting me speak. I had to close the door on this guy I just wanted my food. My problem is that a woman alone at her door shouldn’t feel intimidated and someone starting arguments early hours in the morning. When I explained this to the shop they said he didn’t know I was a woman? To which I replied I think he could hear I was a woman on the phone and when he saw me. This is disgusting behaviour and the situation was blown up and I felt threatened over a minor issue. By how I was approached thinking I want to debate about something on a ticket. No I just wanted my food in peace.

Honestly terrible. I waited an hour and a half so rang the restaurant.. the guy on the phone screamed at me telling me he was busy ill get my food when it comes then suddenly telling me my food was outside.. Great right?? Not great.. honestly the worst food I've ever tasted, the pizza was stone cold and the chicken was slimey and gooey almost tasted like it was out of date 🤢 but obviously couldn't say for sure but will attach video . Pls don't order from here!!!!

Food was horrible when I mean horrible I mean horrible. My filet chicken burger was burnt and 3 chicken wings well undercooked. Food didn’t come as a meal was all separate. I paid £13 for chicken burger and wing’s unbelievable. If I was you I wouldn’t come to this shop the worst food you can actually buy.

Orderd food from here waiting for over an hour for them to deliver it for food to be missing so rang them up and they called me a liar and told me to basically claim a refund they do not care so imagine what they do to the food. horrible customer service! ordered a pizza with a bottle of coke, marios is listing their coke as regular uk coke, however it is coke from a different country which lacks taste. i ring them up saying the coke doesn’t taste right & the woman on the phone says she will send out a new one. i also ordered a pizza. food comes late, the pizza is cold & there is no drink with the order. i call marios again & ask to speak to the manager. rude snarky manager told me “its not a third world country darling & we dont sell coke from other countries” i told him im not happy with the service whilst he continues to speak over me. he said if your not happy i will refund you to which i agree too. he then says ill refund you £3 when the order cost me £20. i asked him to come back & take the pizza as i dont want it after the terrible customer service. he didnt send a driver until 2 hours later. food cold & ruined. no drinks & no refund. absolutely worst place to order from

I am a regular customer here because the food is so good! But recently, I have found the service to be not as professional. I ordered my meal tonight and never received it. It said order confirmed and I ordered at 1am (they shut at 2am). So why confirm my payment if I am not due to receive it? I always order my food at this time from here and it has never been a problem.

Got a large pizza take-away from here - 1. Liked the quantity/size for the price! 2. The taste was pretty good (could be better though). 3. The place is a little too cramped up, with not enough space and looks messy. Would always suggest either ordering in or a takeout. 4. The staff was kind, and let me take my time to decide before placing the order. Happy Fooding~

Ordered a chicken and doner mixed kebab partner ordered chicken and chips, I also ordered a can of Dr Pepper at 1.50. Kebab was great, couldn't fault it HOWEVER, after my kebab I could really have done with a nice cold drink to wash it down, only for some reason, they neglected to send the drink out with the delivery driver, I questioned the driver and he showed me the receipt, no drink on there, I 100% ordered the drink and paid for it (I have the proof). I called them up right away and told them no drink, he asked me for my post code which I told him, he told me he will send one out and hung up. Did I get my drink? NO I did not get my drink. Over lockdown I was a regular customer and must have made a good contribution in keeping this place from going under so it's a bit of a pisstake they would do this, they OBVIOUSLY removed the drink from the order and kept the money which is ILLEGAL! So if you order stuff from here and your drink is missing this is what they are doing. We are ALL struggling with money at the moment but ripping off your customers is NOT the way to go about doing business, you have definitely lost another customer as I won't be going back now.

I ordered 5 large pizzas 3 chicken tikka and 2 veggies loaded all with a garlic base. They were amazing. Also I got a good deal for all the pizzas. It's worth buying.

Wouldn’t even give a one, paid for two 9” garlic bread pizza base only received one, rang to complain and addressed this but the woman on the phone was so arrogant and argumentative pus boss on phone to say we are bring a replacement but never showed and blocked my number

Ordered off the UberEats app. They took and accepted the order off the app and said they’d be here around 2:20 - 2:40. Rang up at 3am to ask where it was and apparently they had no orders in? The audacity… not ordering from here again. Poor service.

Used to come here all the time and the food was okay. The last time the food was half an hour late, cold and stale. When we rang up and confronted them and asked for a refund, they were extremely rude to my mother in law over the phone and told her we were in the wrong somehow. Because of this our experience has been ruined and we will be finding a new local kebab and pizza place.

I would put no stars but that's not an option here's why....First of all I ordered a deal that gives you two pizzas, 2 chips, and a bottle of coke....on the pizzas I ordered meat feast which specifically says Meat Feast Pizza Hot As You Like,Cheese,Tomato,Pepper,Onion,Chilli,Ground Beef,Pepperoni And Sausage Yet when it come not only did they forget my chips the pizza also had ham on it which is not stated on their menu. After I realised the mistake they did I rang up asking them why they put ham on my pizza yet they kept stating but is there pepperoni on it, yeah there is but that doesn't mean you can add a topping that I didn't want on it, at the end of the call they said we will bring you some chips and a bottle of pop I thought right okay that's alright 20 minutes later....they not only brought my chips and coke they delivered two more pizzas and lo and behold.....MORE HAM.....never order order from here they are the worst by far takeaway place I've ordered from!!!!

Awful food, took an 1hour plus for delivery had to remind them and they said it might have been collected by someone else. Food came cold, wet and the driver tried to ask for more money. DO NOT VISIT. Portion sizes are being reduced as it used to be big and now is minimal.

On a midnight munch for me and the mrs, turns out they like to mess orders up, which was rectified, with a side order of appalling customer service.

My quest to find a kebab house in Nottingham that can actually read English and put together an edible order correctly continues. Tonight's failure wasn't too bad, but multiple order errors made for another disappointing payday takeout. Wrong sauce (hot chilli instead of mint sauce!!!), missing ingredients and dry donner meat were the main culprits here. Another one to add to the don't return to list.

All 3 pizzas had mold on worse place ever this needs to be shut down horrible place!

Ordered today, ordered 6 meals, all 6 had missing items, this was reported to the restaurant and said they would send the missing items out to us. Waited almost an hour for the missing items and once again they sent incorrect items. Promised a tray of kebeb meat to replace the kebab missing on the meals, yet sent a different meal of wings and chips. Also, left the food on the garbage bin outside the house. Absolutely disgusting, very disappointed. Usually order from here and will never order again. Very disappointed with the customer service and hygiene of this place, do not recommend. Would have gave no stars if it was an option. Stay away.

Ordered via JustEat. Chips was EXTREMELY chewy, the delivery driver made me leave the house, cross a road and get the food from his driver side window (paid for delivery to the door). When I contacted them to ask for a refund for the inedible chips I might aswell have spoke to myself as they kept chatting to each other in the place and ignored me on the phone. AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never ordering again! Kebab was cold. Chicken kebab was chewy. Driver was refusing to come out of his car for delivery. Rang restaurant and they didn’t even speak English and refused to even help. Ordered Takeaway had to wait an hour than 35 mins late on top of that, think they need to learn to turn orders down if they can’t cope with demand or give more realistic time’s for delivery as I wasn’t prepared to wait an hour never mind 1hour35

I’m actually fuming, my “BBQ chicken and chips” tasted like poo and the chips where a green colour. my friends pizza looked mouldy. we payed 12.50 including delivery, when the man arrived he was rude and asked for more money!!!! don’t order from here babe it looks and tastes like poo.

We order 2 pizzas at 12am to be delivered at 1.45 am only to have to wait 1hour 30 mins for our pizzas. We rang several times to be greeted with a rude man who just told us no worry no worry and demanded the post code to check the order only to tell us it was on our way and should be with us 10-20 mins. It then got to 40 mins after the phone call and we had to ring again to be greeted rudely with the same questions and all we wanted to know was where it was we were told to that we were going to be given a discounted price or something extra for the hassle and the provided us with the number of the delivery guy. So 15 minutes past and it still wasn’t here but the guy finally rang us and he demanded instructions on how to get to the address so I tried to explain but he kept ignoring what I was saying and forcing me to repeat myself over and over again he finally came to the house and made us pay full price and there was no compensation for the hassle when it finally arrived at 3am 2 hrs after the order was submitted with no sympathy or compassion. He simply told us he had been driving around for an hour when we were told that they were just sending him and he would be 5 mins on the last call. I would not recommend this fast food place at all and will be making a complaint elsewhere .
