Marios Cafe in Luton

I found the service very friendly and kind. It reminded me of the little shop I knew acs a child called "Harry's" in Whitechapel.

Myself and my partner who is Italian came here for a meal. The woman who owns Mario's Cafè is a very lovely lady. Made us the food and it was very nice. Big meals which is definitely worth the money. I would personally say its not expensive compared to big chains plus its definitely authentic food. We visited the shop after and got a few Italian items to bring home. We will be going again as its so nice. Highly recommend.

This is an excellent long standing and family run delicatessen and separate trattoria served by a very hard working and worthy Italian couple. The delicatessen and shop is very well stocked at all times, selling a wide range of consistently fresh and diverse produce, and also purveying a large array of some of the finest meats and cheeses. The trattoria and cafe serves an expansive traditional menu of mostly southern Italian dishes in a classical and intimate environment where strangers are readily embraced with home baked bread and juicy extra virgin olive oil. The family should be applauded for continuing their business and services in an area where their kindness can be exploited by those governed by drink or drugs.

Francamente non capisco come sia stato possibile che qualcuno abbia dato 5 pallini di punteggio. Il bar dispone di pochi posti 6 max, ed è annesso ad un piccolo store dove si vendono prodotti italiani. Tutta merce in scadenza, ho fatto un po' di spesa e mi sono ritrovato con scadenze ad una settimana, se con tanta sfrontatezza vendono questi prodotti non oso immaginare cosa cucinano! Il titolare è gentile ma stanco, la sporcizia è ovunque. Non dico altro. DA EVITARE ASSOLUTAMENTE

Esto es un poco de un triste comentario para escribir, pero es mi experiencia. He estado yendo a este lugar por un largo tiempo y me temo que necesita una inyección de cambio como me temo que pase su vender por fecha. Realmente yo espero realmente hay algunos familiares para rejuvenecer, este familiar pequeña tienda y cafetería. El deli tenía una buena variedad de panes y poco carnes pero resbale. No puedo comer en la cafetería. La señora mayor que tiene las uñas más sirve sucio que me apagado comer aquí. Este no es un me temo que es asi. La lasaña que tuve la última vez era frío y microondas y recalentado en el interior. Les deseo lo mejor y les hubiera gustado perder pero necesita un cambio. Como le dije que no tome ningún placer en ir allí y la sensación de cómo lo hice. Cruzando los dedos van a tener resuelto.

AMAZING food! You will struggle to find anywhere more friendly than this little gem. Please do not expect fancy decor or waiters, instead imagine being invited to a family meal by Italian friends. The food is as authentic as it will ever get, the portions are very generous. Since this place is very small, chances are that whatever you choose from the menu, may not be available...but the good news is: whatever you go for instead is going to be amazing. Once again thank you for the great food and friendly approach! We will be back very soon!
