The fish was so over cooked it was inedible. And there was dozens of bones in it. Avoid at all costs.

Visited the cinema then decided on some chips afterwards as it was only 8 o'clock. I checked on Google and it was supposed to be open until 11pm. Went there and the place was in darkness and closed at 8pm. Not the first time this has happened.

We have been to Marini's 3 times now and on each occasion no one has had the manners to tell my husband that there is a box on the wall for you to put your reg number of car into which then allows you to park for longer than the reduced 15 minutes. When asking why no one was told I was informed by the female staff that she didnt need to tell anyone of this. The box on the wall does not belong to the chip shop it belongs to the car parking people (I was told this several times) but she still didnt get the gist of the conversation that as staff who should want to keep their customers they should inform them of this box and what it means if they do not put their reg number in. Makes it a very expensive fish supper when you add on the fine which is £50 up to £85. I am still waiting at this time for the manager to get in touch but hasnt so far, If you park at B&M and get a ticket B&M deal with the parking ticket and get it quashed. Marini's so far are not willing to even help. Wont be back and would advise everyone to be careful in their car park as you can wait longer than 15 minutes to be served so will incur a fine.

Will not be back. Ordered fish supper the fish was very small and batter under cooked .Very dissatisfied.

Decided to stop into marinis near the boulevard for a fish supper, usually go to Ladywell one but this was closer this evening. Wish I hadn't bothered, ignorant female on the counter completely ignored me, thankfully the young chap noticed and asked what I was after. Suffice to say, I will not be back to this one and will stick with the one in Ladywell from now on.

I have ordered from here a few times to have delivered. People taking order always very friendly and efficient. Never been disappointed yet. Very good quick service. Food always arrives nice and hot. I think they are best chips I have had from a takeaway. Will definitely be ordering again soon. Would certainly recommend.

Ordered Soprano's Supreme Pizza from Ladywell shop. Toppings sparse and thick gooey undercooked dough.

Really disappointed with our fish supper this evening. Tiny portion of fish, chips were hard. Understand that the team are under more pressure, trying to complete takeaway orders due to CV19, but this should not reflect on the quality of the food that is served to your customers calling to the shop. Have been getting our chippie tea from you for years but feel the quality of the food received recently plus the portions sizes has been below par. Feel that you should be informed of this situation, giving you a chance for improvement to return the great chippie that we know & love.

I ordered their ice cream which I’ve done a few times on their website. The payment was taken immediately from my account but 5 minutes later was called from Marinis to say they had only 2 flavours of ice cream as they were waiting for a delivery. I asked for a refund (£18 is alot of money!) and was told I have to go through Pay Eat. Basically, we don’t want to deal with you! Problem is, no idea how to contact such a company! I’m going to citizens advice as soon as I can and get my bloody money back! No delivery of what I ordered but we will still keep your money! I’ve used Marinis for a long time, but after this it’s nothing more than false advertising. If you don’t have ANY ICE CREAM in your takeaway, why would you let orders go through, take the money, THEN say sorry you can’t have your order. Stealing. WILL be taking this further and after spending alot of money in this place over the years, I won’t be doing that anymore. Can’t be trusted, don’t give a damn about customer service

Used to be a decent chip shop but it has been getting worse with no food ready and the food not tasting good anymore. The fish was more batter than fish and the batter tasted uncooked - its a shame as it used to be excellent.

We visited here for lunch and the food is alright. However, for a chippy the waiting time is too long. It took around 20-25 minutes to get a fish supper and kebab. Due to the fact we had to wait for that long and us not noticing the time limit we got fined for parking for more than half an hour.

Wife stopped off for food for the family all 5 of us and had to wait for a parking space, did not notice the signage of max 30 minutes for parking! Once getting a space proceeds to Cue in the shop, orders Pizza special fish and some other suppers waits for order and leaves taking 42 minutes in total. Patience for wait rewarded with £50 parking fine. We will never use your shop again and we have appealed the fine. As for the food it was average nothing great!

Took 2 hrs to be delivered absouloute joke and foods not as good as used to be use to be brilliant chippy

Decided to have a late meal as i was taking my son to his friends so decided to get a steak pie supper on the way home, I now wish i had gone elsewhere, the chips were hard in the middle and looked as if they were frozen, the pie crust was like toffee even the dog would not touch it and the pie itself was dry and no gravy again the dog got it so £4.40 down the drain but i will not be back, stay clear if you want a decent take away. I only wish I could have given them a ZERO rating as it was that bad.

Call in here tonight as just returned from holiday and soon remembered why I had stopped using them. Ordered and paid for a fish supper and haggis supper, there were seven fish and three special fish and four haggis in the hot display so expected to be served but the girl on the till said “shouldn’t be long” after waiting 5 minutes watching them make up lots of suppers and none of the four people in the shop being served I enquired what “shouldn’t be long” meant I was told “when we’ve made up the deliveries “ I said I’m here, you’ve taken my money, just serve me and I’ll be on my way. The older lady then said she would make up my food and when she checked came back and said you’ll have to wait for fish and ohh haggis also I said you have them there in the display she said you can’t have them. I said that’s no way to run a business and asked for my money back and left. Went round to Marmaris got served immediately and was home before the crowd at Marinis would have served me!

Worst sausage And chips we have ever had Avoid will never be back Sausage was like rubber Staff was polite

Always get a great fish supper and chicken pakora from here. Best chippy in West Lothian. Would recommend this to anyone.

Normally this place is very good and has some pleasant staff in most times. I went there yesterday and asked for a single fish and large bag of chips. Well, I thought they served haddock as their fish of choice but what I got was a minnow. Or maybe a dwarf haddock. When I asked that the fish was a bit small, the obese lady promptly told me - 'that's the size they come in and we pay the same. The ones jn this morning were even smaller' Well they must have been serving tadpoles in the morning and minnows in the evening.

I have only used this shop a few times but found it good so far. Two days ago I went to order 6 fish suppers for a family group. The fish was cooked to order - which is one reason I buy there- and the chips were very fresh too. It was all prepared very quickly and packed as i requested, with fish and chips separate. It's easy to park outside and I waited in the car till it was ready- they offered to bring it out to me. All good, would use again.

Ordered the bolognese for myself as husband was having a kebab.

Placed an order for delivery. Usually use the Marinis in Ladywell but it's closed and thought this one would be just as good.

I got 2 fish suppers and 1 white pudding supper and took them to a family gathering . The fish was disgusting, my husband commented that it was the worst fish supper he had ever had , he was hungry and managed to eat less than half the fish and a few chips. My mother ate even less of the fish I could have bounced the white puddings off a table they were brick hard and gave up after a few bites. The rest of the gathering had a wonderful Chinese takeaway meal and next time we will be joining them and certainly won't be using this chip shop again. The customer service was appalling when I called to explain and I would suggest you go else where for a supper.

Ordered a delivery tonight, spelt my address and 45 minutes and two phone calls later food arrived. Husbands meal was luke warm and to make matters worse he found two hairs in his food. No coleslaw with my order. Would rather stand and wait for food. Definitely not ordering delivery again and to top it all I gave the delivery person a tip.

I ordered 3 suppers from here they were delivered and they got the order wrong I always order the fish and always just have salt on it as I don't like sauce when we called back to let them know there was sauce on it they put the blame on us said it was our fault girl wasn't prepared to listen on phone and was adamant that no mistake had been made so I took supper back and demanded my money back meanwhile my wife had called them and the nameless person who would not give her name was rude and arrogant on the phone and her language was terrible telling us that a manager was not available they need to learn customer skills would not recommend this place to anyone

This is a good chippy compared to others in the area. I must say though the fish was very tasteless. Everything else ordered went down a treat, just very bland tasting fish. random but true.

When I go here I always order the "special fish" it takes a little longer but then you know that it's fresh, I have a thing about fish that's been in the oven too long and, to be honest, the special fish is in breadcrumbs which s a refreshing change. If I see them taking fish out the frier freshly I will order the battered fish because it really is amazing.

Just ordered 3 pizzas & 2 fish suppers. My pizza delivered was not what ordered. Ordered Marinara (mixed seafood) & received a Giardenara (vegetarian). Phoned to let them know, lady said it was a bad line when we called the order in but they don't do a marinara pizza!! Said we'd ordered lots of times before but she said our 3 month menu was out of date and they no longer do it. (Website menu says marinara) . Very disappointing, will not order from here again, but they really couldn't care less, attitude not good. Such a shame.

My 2014 review was credited here, I must apologise, the review was for Marinis, Ladywell. The two 'Marinis' are as different as Chalk from Cheese.

I can't find an email for this takeaway and their website is down, so the review goes here. Customer service was poor, but the main issue is one of the young chaps behind the counter continually dipping his finger in the ice cream tubs and taking a couple of chips from the hot area every time he passed. Surely some food hygiene issues here? Don't want a young person to lose a job but really ... manager needs to get a grip. I won't find out if it changes though - I won't be back.

Just ordered a delivery that took over 55 minutes to arrive... food was cold, batter was soggy and barely no sauce. We also asked for a bottle of juice to be delivered which never arrived!!! Will NOT repeat!!

Fui a Marini a unos 1430 un domingo por la tarde. Pedí queso patatas fritas y salchichas jumbo. Creo que debe haber salchichas ha de estar un rato, ya que no eran de mucho calor y apenas podía morder en ella como el bateador era tan difícil! Patatas fritas estaban mojadas y pasada y grasiento. He estado aquí en varias ocasiones y normalmente es muy bueno. Tal vez porque estaba tranquilo, pero hoy todavía pagamos precio completo y patatas fritas y salchichas calientes esperaba.

Recientemente visité este llevar ya que estábamos con la decoración y estaban demasiado ocupados para cocinar una comida. Llegamos a casa y estaba bien lleno y aún caliente cuando llegamos a casa. Establecer en los platos y con una taza de té y pan y mantequilla que teníamos el lugar pescado té! La mejor parte fue el pescado y patatas fritas, ya que era el mejor que he probado y también sin huesos. No puedo comer pescado si tengo un hueso de manera que esto era una gran ventaja para mí. Yo volveré pronto! Gracias!

Found that the large Fish Suppers were excellent value & were able to be shared between the 2 of us without any waste from each of us getting a single fish supper.

Normally I really enjoy the food here but we got two sausage suppers at 17.30 on Sunday night and the sausages and the batter were hard, they had been lying too long, the shop was quiet and they had a lot of food keeping warm after being fried, hopefully a one off but looks like the place may have gone downhill.

The hippy is great and theirs two in Livingston - the food tastes great the staff are friendly and the ice cream is beautiful all different flavours to choose from

Got a takeaway for my son , and I had smoked fish, he had crunchy pizza and haggis, it was vile, inedible, ate only some of each thing to see how bad his meals were,fish was black and majorly over cooked, pizza batter was solid,and haggis was pretty gross i was pretty surprised,as before we've had it from their ,and all thought it was quite nice , I tried to call but it was too late, so binned it, we were up through the night running to the loo, felt awful,place needs shut down, and no point looking for compensation, doubt anyone would get it, my pal got called a liar, so just avoid like the plague

It will take forever, or it will come cold. My most recent order from here took 2 hours for delivery. This place has seriously went downhill in the past six months

All the stuff out this shop tastes good. However on delivery the food is never the hottest. Especially not ideal when ordering pizza. Sort out good heat insulation for food and this place could be great

We have been using Marinis in Livingston for the last few years as our goto for a quick unhealthy tea ( chips/kebabs/pizzas and ice cream). Its always been 'reasonable' - sometimes it has been really good, occasionally a bit off... but the last six months and especially the last two or three visits (including this evening) or so are what I am basing this review on.Dreadful. Just dire... The staff look like they would rather be poking their eyes out with sharp sticks than helping customers.They simply CANNOT get a simple order correct. If it involves more than a fish supper the chances of you getting what you asked for are low. Its a training/attitude thing too... This evening, despite me saying in the meticulously careful telephone order stating which chips etc should have sauce/salt etc... when you get to the shop - you get what they give you and thats it. On walking into the shop its not unusual for there to be three or four staff standing behind the counter - apparently doing nothing - but for them to then ignore you.And the food had REALLY gone downhill.. Lately if we wanted a ham pizza we had started having to order 'extra ham' because they are so stingy with it. What makes me laugh is when ordering, say, the ham pizza then saying 'with extra ham, please' the sales assistant would say 'on a ham pizza?'. 'Yes, because you barely put any ham on your ham pizza...' I reply... then EVEN with extra ham...its barely what you would call a ham pizza from a quality pizzeria (oh for one of those in Livi)....I ordered the 'Sopranos' pizza. If you saw it then read the description of the pizza you would never connect the two items. It was basically a plain cheese and tomato pizza with the merest hint of the other ingredients listed. Just awful.Same with the kebabs... used to be very good... but lately.. the portions are much smaller... the salad is not as fresh (or as much of it) and every second visit they forget to put the darn sauce in the bag!So... thanks Marinis - you were pretty good ... but the combination of bumbling staff who don't know how to take an order, declining quality of food and the continual mistakes have lost you a customer.

Always seem to get the new staff to serve ice cream. 2 scoops in a medium 250ml tub I DON'T THINK SO! Pay 60p more than someone with a 2 scoop cone!!!Think I'll need to find another chippie and take ALL my business elsewhere.

Visited this place as a quick food stop. Food was freshly made up and que was short. Not sure if it was because rush tea time had gone but the service was very good with tasty food. Fish especially. Not too greasy and medium sliced chips.Loads of options to choose from

They removed there just eat page which used to make it easy to order food and for repeat orders. Now I have the option to either collect or call up which takes ages as you have to repeat the same information as always I.e. What you want, spelling out delivery address and card details if paying by card. Now I'm just going elsewhere unless I really feel like going to collect.Used to go here maybe once a week as it was convenient and the fish and chips were usually very good. But now the convenience factor is gone.

This used to be our favourite chippy and pizzeria. At one time you got free chips with a medium pizza but they stopped that. We weren't that bothered though and continued to get our pizzas here but tonight was the last time for us. We got a Hawaiian and a margarita but found that the Hawaiian was missing the pineapple and was just a margarita with a few bits of ham. The topping stopped way short of the crust and the pizza base was dry and unpleasant. Not sure why they've changed things but Marinis needs to remember there is lots of competition in the area and we'll be voting with our feet and pockets and going elsewhere.

Me and Hubby really enjoy this chippy, it beats the 2 local chippy to ours. I always get a fish supper and its fried to order each time i have ordered it. The fish is moist and batter light and crispy. The chips fried well, fluffy inside not dry. The lunch menu is really good value. Tried the pizzas as they have a offer on them on Mondays, but was disappointed it lacked flavour.

Great chip shop, and fab ice cream as well, think this will become our favourite chippie from now on.

Despite being local, this was our first visit here. We normally use a marginally closer chippy but thought we would give this one a go for a change.The two pizzas we ordered were mediocre and in all honesty a little bland. And the small portion of chips should have been called 'tiny'.To complete this new experience, i also found the staff to be miserable. From the mumbling woman who answered the phone, and the enthusiast person behind the counter, to the grumpy bloke at the till. Not a pleasantry exchanged, not a hello, not a thanks, and not even a smile. Nothing.Im delighted to have paid over £16 for the privilege of feeling totally unwelcome.Don't think I'll bother going back.

This was the first time we had been. We chose it from Facebook as it showed a picture of a restaurant with tables and chairs. There were none it was a takeaway. However the quality of the food was excellent.

Lovely fresh food and the pizza is lovely too. I can never escape without buying the kids ice cream though as the choice is brill. The staff are always friendly and efficient, I've never had a bad experience here.

Great shop for takeaway. Not only serves the usual fish and chips but loads of other delicious food too. The food is not greasy and very reasonable compared to other. The ice cream selection is amazing! Food can be delivered, ordered and collected or while you wait.

we found this by default whilst on holiday in the area. the quality of food was excellent and there was so much choice - pizza, kebabs, fish & chips, Italian and for dessert ice cream.we had a mixed kebab and there was so much food, very tasty. we got our son a sausage supper and this came with 2 huge sausages and a mountain of chips, at only 6 years old he made a dent :)if i was in the area again then this place would definitely be on my list to visitfriendly staff where nothing is too much trouble. we were ordering for 3 families and they helped me to the car as there was a number of bags

I work just down the road and some of the people in the civic centre came back with some nice looking fish suppers so I thought I would give it a shot.In general I would say I'm disappointed because you can't guarantee what you are going to getTrip 1: Not bad, decent bit of fish chips OKTrip 2: Small piece of fish chips OKTrip 3 waited 15 mins for a small piece of fish and the chips weren't even 2/3rds cooked and should never have been served, horrible taste.Going this way the assumption is the next trip will be no fish and raw chips so it might well be the end for Marini's

Anaemic batter anaemic chips...food was luke warm as well, not surprising with its...yes anaemic appearance,to be honest it was terrible. Unless your desperate to fill your belly quick,which you will do because you won't burn your tongue...avoid!!

this is a great fish and chip shop have made it a regular treat on a Thursday evening to get a several fish suppers for the lads.and have done this for 2 years..Leading up to Christmas all the parking spaces in the car park have been taken and there was a conga of cars going round and round trying to park. As I passed the front of the shop the food was all waiting to be purchased but no customers at all in the shop we were all causing gridlock outside looking to park. I tried on 5 attempts going away then returning same thing total caos when entering the car park..So had to go elsewhere maybe ile try again sometime next year if theres a place to get parked for a few minutes ..

Excellent fish and chips from here and offered a pot of coleslaw to accompany meal. There is seating beside window if you want to eat within chip shop as it is big in size and spotless in cleanliness with big windows to look out of. The staff are always nice and friendly a lovely Italian vibe and there is a large tv to watch if waiting for your meal. I much prefer this chip shop to the others tried so far from same chain. Therefore deserves a 5*

Got an Italian takeaway from here tonight for a change as I've always got a chip supper of some description. I ordered Spaghetti Carbonara and it was pretty bland. Far too creamy, no garlic, no white wine in the sauce. It was bland and tasteless. I ordered a 10" garlic pizza bread and it smelt amazing but it was too salty. I have no idea why but it was salty as hell. I couldn't eat it. I gave up in the end and just settled for my ice cream which, is probably the best thing about Marinis. I'm sorry for the bad review but it wasn't very nice. :(

Chip shop with cheap lunchtime deals till late, Pizzas, kebabs and Italian style ice cream to eat in shop or take home. Brilliant special fish, all fish suppers are in medium or large, one or two pieces, with a tub of coleslaw included. Buy a medium or large pizza get a free box of chips, pastas, kids meal boxes, fresh hot and tasty, and served with a smile.

Service is always friendly and it has to the best chipper in livingston. Have never had cause to fault them in anything and this is a regular visit on a friday

Usually really good, chicken kebabs are great, chips and pizza are great tooThings like haggis aren't very good, really chewy and dry. Would be better if they used half a haggis ball not make it like a sausage

The previous review that I left for Marini's was 'Very Good' but after my most recent visit I'm struggling between 'Poor' and 'Average'. I think that I visit this Fish and Chip Shop about once every 3 or 4 months and everything since my first visit has reinforced the original rating that I gave. However on my most recent visit with my daughter we were greatly disappointing at the poor service that we received. I don't think that we have encountered such a disinterested person in a restaurant/ takeaway in years. I was greeted with 'What do you want?'. Then pointing towards a colleague 'Pay her!' Next followed a wait of about 10 minutes. I'm not sure why we had to wait as long as we did as there was only one customer ahead of us and when it came to making up our order everything seemed to be to hand. The fish and chips regularly comes with a tub of very poor quality coleslaw so I always ask for a sachet of tartare sauce instead. In the past this substitution has always been supplied without a problem, however not so on my latest visit. If I wanted tartare sauce then I would have to pay for it. I didn't bother as I knew that I had some at home. Thankfully the fish and chips were up to their usual perfectly acceptable standard but given my latest experience I'm not sure if I will ever visit Marini's again.

Beside Livingston Designer Outlet in Retail park next to swimming centre. Food above average with well presented staff. Have used a few times on my visits to Livingston.

Choose Marini's as we had been held up & needed to find something to eat quickly as we didn't have time to go to a restaurant, we asked for a fish supper & was asked if it was a standard or a large that we wanted, unbeknown to us the standard is just one small fish. Maybe we should have asked what the difference was but never gave it a thought as our local fish & chip shop only does a single or a supper. We were surprised when we saw what was being put in the box beside the chips so I asked if that was it, & was told that If I wanted large then I'd get 2 fish but I'd need to wait, didn't have the time to do that & was very disappointed that I hadn't been made aware what the difference was

The best fish and chips ever with mushy peas. Yum!Also pizzas, kebabs and different flavoured ice. Creams to mention a few of the brilliant food they offer

If a place deserves a big Zero star this is it. Horrible unfriendly staff. Dreadful cold greasy fish and chips which I threw in the bin. Will never ever return.

After waiting 25 mins for 2 small pizzas I arrived home to find one was wrong and was something I wouldn't eat. Phoned to say this and got nowhere. I live outwith delivery area so had to go back (40 minute journey there and back). Was offered no apology and no compensation for their mistake. Disappointed and annoyed, won't be back in a hurry!

Well what can I say. The best chippy in the area well I think so food has always been spot on and the staff polite have never tried the ice cream but it looks good. One other thing the place is always clean

Food cooked fresh in front of you and the staff always have a smile to greet you. Ice cream available to which suited my grandaughter.

I visited Deep Blue on the 13 January 2015. A simple request from me "A hamburger supper, please".. I handed over £3.70. I was informed that the chips would be ready in two minutes... After FIVE minutes, I asked if the chips were ready.. "another two minutes", I was informed...I said "Just give me the Hamburger, I wont bother with the chips"... I was then informed "We don't have any Hamburgers.." I demanded a refund of my £3.70 and left.... I will NOT visit this place again...

If you like to get the wrong order the wrong change not once but three times from staff who can't count have no customer skills are rude and serve the most overcooked driest and tasteless fish around this is the place for you. Since this seems to be a regular occurrence it will be one I will avoid

We've always loved the Fish and Chips from Martinis but tonight we went to the Ladywell takeaway.We usually always have to wait on the fish being made, but not tonight I had my fish suppers in 2 minutes. This tells me its been lying for a while, and it looked and tasted like it. In fact if i had seen it before they packed it away in the box i wouldn't have accepted it. I would rather wait 10min on fresh fish being cooked rather than have a dried up meal sooner.

I have phoned them a few times 2 get a delivery . an the answer was no then they hang up .called them earlier and the man again said no askd wy? the answer was because I cant b botherd and hung up very rude !!!!!!!!!!

I will certainly never use marinis in livingston again. Firstly they mucked our order up then when we got home the food was burnt and tasted disgusting it ended up going in the bin. This was meant to be a birthday treat for my grandson some treat was really angry with the quality of food we received. I ended up having to order a chinese meal.

Traditional fare at traditional prices. Boneless, Skinless Haddock in a crispy batter. How do they do it at the price.? You can choose from small portions or large other offerings available at silly -compared to other chip shops - prices.I read the reviews here and found the one star ones unrepresentative of my experience. Looking forward to ordering again.

Marini's have the edge on other fish and chip shops in this area in my opinion. The chips are usually a bit crisper than the usual soggy offerings that are the average, similarly with the fish batter. There's also the benefit of pizza and kebabs and the ice cream is great. Service is OK, but can get very busy, so queues likely at busy times.

Consistently good. As with most Chippy's the food is cooked and kept warm in the hot display so not usually fresh. Chips are good but not a lot of character. Free chips with a pizza is a good deal, can easily feed 3. At £8, this is good value for money and the pizza is always very good. Always a lot of staff behind the counter, so usually served pretty quickly.

We have used this shop before but have been disappointed on the last two occasions but this time the food took over an hour to be delivered and not surprisingly the food was cold and inedible. We tried to reheat the food as we were quite hungry but the meal was a total disaster. It may have been considered a small order but there is no point in cooking off food and then waiting for more orders to come in before dispatching a more profitable run. We will try again some other time to see if improvement in delivery as we know that we have enjoyed the food collected from the shop but more attention will have to be taken to ensure that food deliveries are handled in a better manner.

Great food always, great prices, clean, great service and ice cream bar is so lovely, creamiest ice cream ever, will never buy ice cream from anywhere else again :)

I haven't stayed in Livingston that long but out of all "chippies" I've had, this is by far the best! Most of the chip shops around Livingston, I feel aren't that good and a lot of the food tastes like plastic, but this genuinely tastes good! The staff have always been friendly when I have phoned up or if I've been a tad late for the friers, they will still offer me alternative food!

I ordered the special fish , this was 2 pieces of haddock in breadcrumbs , quite thin pieces may I add . The service was spot on I can't fault it , the food was well packaged in a bag Looked really nice . There was a strong fishy smell when I opened the bag , the fish was not fresh even though it was fried there and then .

this chip shop is owned and run by incompetent fools that lie to you and are rude. the food is disguting under cooked and all 6 of us that ordered threw it in the bin. never use theese fools again. delivery was ordered for 10 oclock so the dimwits sent it at 10 oclock despite 10 oclock written on the reciept. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place

Have ordered from here many times and wow! What a lovely place to enjoy a nice quick meal like fish and chips :)

Visited when we had a recent visit to my sisters in Livingston, very friendly place. Great value and a good selection, never tried the deep fried battered pizza.... Had fish and chips with sauce very good.... Great ingredients, great taste, will visit again next time were in Livingston. Oh fantastic choice of ice creams ... Nice...

Great local chippy and good value. I love the fish and have yet to find a bone. Sometimes it is more like a whale though! Naughty but nice ice cream to add further insult to the diet. Oh well tomorrow is another day......

I went to Marini's fish and chips a few times while I was working on a contract in Livingston. Before you read my review, I have to admit that I HATE fried food, there are very few fried dishes that I consider worth eating, other than when I am drunk or don't have much money for anything decent. Marini is a nice place, with friendly staff and a pretty big selection of unhealthy food. Their prices are lower than average and for that you get a LOT of food, and I mean A LOT for someone who is not used to it, I had 3 meals from one of their package deals.Having said that, they have some nice surprises as well, their chicken kebab is pretty good and if you don't eat the whole 'half a kilo' chips that comes with it, then you can enjoy a nice dinner.They also have a good selection of ice cream that I never tasted, maybe next time I am there I try it!
