The only thing letting this pub down was the stench of cigarette smoke.

This food was top notch. Fish was beautiful with light crispy batter and the chips were perfect. Steak pie meat so tender only negative thing is the pastry was burnt 😵‍💫

Lovely place. When shopping centre is open very easy to get there. If walking and outside shopping centre hours then call the pub as sat nav won't get you there. Call the pub for directions.

Food was so good! Was here with my bestie for my birthday dinner and the food was absolutely delicious. Bestie had a cheeseburger with chips and she really enjoyed her meal. I had sausage, mash and gravy which I thoroughly enjoyed too. We both had sticky toffee pudding with custard and we'd both go back just for that! Service was slightly slower than expected but it was busy and I'm assuming food is cooked fresh to order. Football was playing on the TV's which made the place very loud and conversation a little difficult. But as I think it's more of a social pub than a restaurant, noise should be expected when football is on. We ordered a Jamaican Sunrise cocktail each, as we've have them before and they are really nice. But it was served in a pint glass and the alcohol was over diluted with fresh orange juice. Overall, I do enjoy the Parry Lamp, as it's known locally, and will most definitely be back and I do recommend it.

Came in for food after football at 18.00 and just missed our tea. Disappointed at we saw the meals before the game and they looked delicious

Food was hot, delicious & delivered on time, but the 3 plastic containers with the two sticky toffee puddings & custard had opened and we lost about a third of the toffee sauce & custard in the bag. This could have been avoided if the containers were kept flat. Still had enough to enjoy the puds! Hopefully you can avoid this happening again because your food is amazing!

Chips cold, 'nuggets' not nuggets and brick hard, macaroni is only macaroni when it's macaroni tunes anything else is just pasta

Worth the long wait (75 mins) as food was exceptional. Tastiest chicken burger I’ve ever had & my family thoroughly enjoyed the fish. All delivered hot & fresh. We all loved our desserts too. Thank you! Will definitely be back! 👍

Great old school pub food, I always go for the steak pie with my mum, 2 steak pies and 2 alcoholic drinks and it's under £30. Staff are friendly and portion sizes are big

A lovely little spot.. I love popping in here when I'm in livingston visiting my family.. been coming here for years. Ive not had any food so can't comment but the staff are friendly there's always a decent crowd and the pints are quality

There's karaoke 🎤🎶 on Saturday nights. The crowd was lively; the music was good; the drinks weren't too expensive. The karaoke was loads of fun.

Just popped in for a soft drink it was Saturday Karaoke night friendly.

We went to watch the match between Liverpool and Real Madrid so, sadly didn't eat there as we had eaten at the nearby hotel where we were staying. However, we were given the warmest welcome from the local people! One young lady ( off duty staff member) came out to meet us as finding the entrance to the pub is tricky with it being in a shopping precinct. One gentleman (Jim?) found us chairs, another came to shake hands in welcome. Thank you all so much. We would love to return!

Found myself in “The Parrafin Lamp” tonight whilst on a night parked up. Went looking for food originally, unfortunately they had stopped serving when I got there. However, this has to be one of the friendliest places I have been to !! The staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble for them, had a good laugh with a few of the regulars as well. Will definitely come up for a weekend and make a proper night of it 😊
