Marini’s in Fife

It was absolutely amazing and piping hot and fresh and when it was delivered and the girls who delivered it was very speedy and friendly at the door and said sorry for my wait but it came before expected time and was absolutely amazing. Would defo be back again and recommend Marini’s for delivery and takeaway because the staff was friendly in the shop and handled my food with care

Ordered 2 cheeseburgers tonight which came after 1 hour and 30 min, cold, they weren’t cooked on the grill 100% the taste of it was horrible just ended up in the bin, also I asked for cheese on the chips but never got it either. It was my first time ordering here and for sure the last one too!!!! Cheap and rubbish! Very unhappy, in special when you are hungry and no eating all day!

Sat, 7/05/2022. At 18:40, walked in and ordered Large Fish Supper + Steak pie Supper. Only 1 other person was waiting inside and I stood for an incredible 25 MINUTES. Even the delivery man had came and went TWICE during all the time I stood there. Even when someone else walked in out the street and got served before me, I said, "I haven't been served yet". A couple who were there waiting backed me up and said, "He's was next in the queue!". The shoulders got shrugged in a "couldn't care less" manner. ROTTEN SERVICE. They gave complete priority to all the delivery ordered food and they never have anything ready - unless they re-cook the returned delivery food - Twice The Profit! When I got back to the car (2 minutes after paying) and examined the food: The fish were squeezed into the box and the batter was soggy. The chips had a disgusting smell which usually occurs when oil has exceeded it's refried limit. The same was the case for the Steak Pie, which my son refused to eat because of the horrible stench. This may be a busy chipshop, but this was a clear example of second class service and their food is only fit for the BIN. If anyone is still reading this and contemplates visiting - it's your risk!

Awful! No customer service, no acknowledgement of us being there, after 10 mins we had to ask to be served, older woman so rude and did not look clean. Both had dodgy tummy’s since! Food average but took ages. Will definitely not be back and would not recommend to anyone.

Ordered a fish & chips and a battered cheese burger supper. Fish was so soggy and the batter tasted like an omelette. Their mac cheese I ordered a few weeks ago was over cooked pasta and mented mozzarella... that was it. Floating in grease too. Dont think we will be back. We perfer the Marinis in Perth for sure. Cold dry chips and rank haggis. Fish is OK but only OK. Can you really ruin chips, apparently yes! Clearly it's under new management. Very disappointed. If I wasn't so hungry I wouldn't have eaten it! Will not be back!

Had not been in a over a year and always enjoyed the fish and chips. Decided to pop in and get fish suppers for the 4 of us. One of the worst ever. Fish was bland and definitely not fresh and the chips felt like they were coated in plastic. Will not be going again

Haven't been to marinis in a while and now I remember why. Got a king rib supper. It was really greasy and it tasted more like an Indian flavour than bbq flavour. Straight in the bin. Chips were soggy too but managed to salvage some of the crisper ones. Won't be back unless things change.

This chippy offers great ice cream. However, recently I've paid for 2 x 500ml tubs. Once delivered they seemed light weight. I checked the tubs and contents, measuring the volume of ice cream to find out it was a total 740ml. Does this mean I'll be refunded 26%.
