I was extremely disappointed as I thought I was getting a white pudding which was not a white pudding it was 2 battered sausages apparently cooked fresh but more like already cooked and put back in the fryer to reheat. Also a king rib it was not edible it also tasted old and chips had obviously been sitting for a while. Completely unacceptable the price is the same at tea time as it is at 9pm when we ordered maybe they should close the shop when they have used up the food from tea time. If I had not been so tired I’d have returned it all for a refund I definitely won’t be back and certainly would not recommend going here

Just been in to order fish supper battered pizza supper and a chipsteak. When I got home I discovered that instead of a chipsteak I received 2 fishcakes. The chips were terrible also. I called to explain and I advised that this was the second time that I had received the wrong thing. The guy on the phone couldn't care less. Ir cost over £16 so not exactly cheap very disappointing

Aways love Marinis even if chips not hot. However, just now, had fish supper to share. Comment from hubby probably pollock or oil not hot enough.Batter seemed crisp on outside, fish thin and not very white. Maybe yesterdays reheat. Chips tepid. Sooooo disappointed. Love this shop. Last month suppers on special £5 and good. This month £6.50 and really bad. Waste of money.

Chips cold, red pudding fake, fish barely acceptable, family of 5 spent £50 - very disappointing and will not be back!

I have no idea where these bad reviews come from. I ordered a home delivery, came very quickly and the food was piping hot. Fantastic and a thoroughly deserved 5 star rating from me. Thank you

Chips were Sh!t that had no salt DEFO freezer chips fish was not cooked... Worker was rude to me!!!!!! WOULD NOT COME BACK TO THIS DUMP‼️‼️❗️❗️

Ordered a fish supper. Fish was clearly out the freezer, watery and tasteless - and chips like small pieces of batter. Tasted awful. Will not be back and strongly recommend anyone not to go here. Many much better places in the surrounding areas.

Wish I had read the reviews beforehand! The food was so bad...greasy fish and floppy pale chips. Drlivety took an hour. Three meals were ordered...only two arrived. This chip shop is cheaper than many..now I know why. Never again. The missing meal arrived after a phone call and 45 more minutes. Poorest ever in Dundee in over 40 years!

We ordered take away from our holiday home Landal fowlis ivagowre, the delivery took over 2 hrs, everything was cold and chips were stale. When we called they kept telling us that the food will be delivered in 10 mins. Customer service was shocking. I will not recommend it or order from them again. If this is Scotland’s number 1 take away. Lord have mercy on no 2

Chips lukewarm Two half pizzas to two different people, couldn’t eat. Starter/main for another, dip missing. New experience of crunchy doner kebab meat with BIG bits of vegetables spread throughout. Please don’t even consider. I’ve asked for my account details to be removed through an online marketing provider because it was so bad. If only we all hadn’t got together and all felt so hungry that we could Just Eat Anything that was delivered..

Just had take-away delivered. Cold food, pizza soggy, as per other reviews avoid. Would not use again

On Sunday I ordered fish & chips for my son, a single white pudding and a couple of fritters for me as i am not a huge lover of chips. Said it would be here at 6.10pm, arrived early at 5.40pm and the portion size was ginormous. In my single white pudding I had 2 white puddings perfectly cooked (still moist in the middle) and my sons fish & chips was beautiful, white and fluffy. I pinched a handful of his chips and he struggled to finish them (he’s 17 and a human dustbin!!). I meant to post this on Sunday but ended up forgetting to do so. Bit shocked at the other reviews as i will certainly be back. I am not related to anyone who owns or works in this shop just in case you think i am. Neither am I a huge lover of chippy teas but this was delish. 10/10.

I went for a portion of chips for my wife and this was the only place open nearby. Honestly when I got home with these (2 mins drive) I felt embarrassed as the chips were all crusty ends and cold. The guy serving had zero people skills and even less manners. I get it was late but I paid £4.30 for chips that not even my dog would eat and a jar of muscles, I now feel even worse that I let him keep the change. If zero stars were an option that would be what I would give, but unfortunately will have to give a forced 1 star rating... AVOID!!! * Dont sell something you would not eat yourself... * “Please” and “Thank You” does not cost anything in life... * Try to make eye contact with customers and or at least acknowledge their presence...

My husband and I were in Dundee for the weekend, staying at the Travelodge round the corner. My husband arrived quite late on the Friday night as he had been working. We decided to go in here for two bags of chips. They were freezing. My husband ate his because he was starving. I decided to take mine back. The woman behind the counter apologised but added, “they have been sitting there for quite a while right enough”. Why on earth had she given me them then. I was paying for fresh chips! Needless to say, we won’t be back and, if you take my advice, you won’t go either.

after craving fish and chips for a few days I found myself beside Marinis so decided to treat myself . wish I hadn't . The fish was tiny - like it had been halved lengthways . the batter was soggy and as for the chips...

I decided to come here for me dinner one night since I haven't been there in a while. The service was very helpful and were very nice. I ordered a red pudding supper which was cooked good. The chips were good but not as great...
