This place is great for a night out because it has a wide variety of food for us which spoils us for choice and they recommend us the best

Worse place I’ve ever gone for dessert and the customer service is worse on top of it! Very unhappy about my order when I complained I was told they can’t give me a refund or do anything about it as apparently was nothing wrong with it! Very rude staff and management is rubbish too. I would never advise you to go here. I wouldn’t even give 1/5 stars that’s how bad they were.

I took my kid for a desert we order food it was wrong I want to complaint they’re not interested about it. The service is very poor avoid is please as much as you can.

I’ve just been to the shop spent approximately £70 to eat in there were several mistakes with my order the girl that served me was rude and was rushing my order even though there was only one other person behind me,she missed one of my waffles off the order, served sticky toffee pudding with custard instead of ice cream, which resulted in some of us waiting for orders while others were eating, I specifically asked for nuts in my tea all 3 were served without nuts, there wasn’t enough cutlery we had to ask for things numerous times, 6 drinks were sent up really late we ordered 6 veg samosas received 5 and the waitress was trying to convince me there were 6 on the plate, when I asked for the extra samosa was told they’ve run out to which I requested a refund, I’d ordered 2 falooda to take away aswell, 1 of which was literally thrown at me which ended up on the floor which they did replace, apart from one boy didn’t get an apology of anyone definitely will be the last time I’ll be visiting and won’t recommend either it’s a shame really especially as I know the owner would be mortified if he’d witnessed such customer service it’s a shame his hospitality skills have not been passed on to staff!

Ordered online, unfortunately we ended up with someone else's order and 1 item short. Called the shop. The service was great. Abdullah answered the phone. He listened, was polite and keen to help. He was reassuring and organised a fresh order to be delivered. He called back to give me a delivery time slot. I believe they were at the door within 10minutes!

50% off Great Went yesterday 10 August 2020 at 12pm, had waffle,ice cream sundae, mithai, samosa chaat. Very nice plus was half price , eat out to help out.

Wow. Went looking for ice cream shop in lock down and come across this shop. We got cake and ice cream. Plenty of staff who are very polite. No rushing for service so u plenty of time to choose. Was amazed at the variety. 1st time here and will definitely be coming back. Enough variety to choose from, from young to old and drinks as well. Will definitely recommend to any 1

I was already in Hospital due to a health condition and fancied treating myself to a dessert after being stuck in here for some time. I actually placed the order over just eat, I ordered a chocolate brownie waffle and (as specified on the menu online) m&m cookie, cookie dough.Nothing specified that the m&ms on said cookie dough were PEANUT! And as there are like 4 or 5 different types of m&ms available I assumed there would be suitable warnings, nowhere at all on the menu did it say it and with the actual listing saying m&m cookie I assumed they meant the biscuit ones. You'd have expected there to be a warning if nuts involved.I was unaware of the peanut m&ms on the cookie dough and took a spoonful with one of the smaller m&ms on it. Only to then find I'm instantly vomiting, luckily for me I was already in Hospital and my peanut allergy isn't life or death and causes me to be instantly sick. I brought up any and all medication I had taken not long before, caused major pain from the vomitting as I am already suffering and in pain in Hospital as it is. I called the restaurant the next day after recovering and having a very crappy nights sleep due to no pain relief after bringing it back up etc and explained that there was no warning regarding the peanut m&ms etc and that this could have been a much much worse situation than it was. THIS COULD HAVE KILLED SOMEONE!!the restaurant seemed very apologetic and offered me a refund after trying to just pass me off with a cheaper order next time which I was not happy with so I requested the refund. They told me they had processed the refund for me. I called up 5 days later as still no refund and they told me it takes a week. I left it a few more days and still nothing. I've been calling the restaurant almost every day since and they keep ignoring my calls. When I do get through I get passed between different members of staff who claim to be the management but nobody can refund me. Almost 2 weeks later and I'm still in hospital and they have now denied me my refund and said they're not refunding me and I need to go through just eat for the refund. Just eat say it's not in their power to refund me and needs to be through the restaurant. This place is run by con artist's and liars who could have killed somebody. And the complete lack of care in the way they have dealt with this situation is disgusting. I'd have been fairly happy with a refund originally if the situation had have been dealt with properly but now I will be going to trading standards and the FSA due to the massive concern for others health and wellbeing. This place is potentially a death trap for some poor individual. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

There are lots of dessert places in the Whalley Range area,Marhaba is one of the better ones. Nice ice cream deserts and they also sell savoury food, cakes as well as mithais.It got very busy rather quickly when we arrived. We ordered but the person who was supposed to make our desserts got rather easily confused.

First off: Any negative reviews should be taken with a pinch of salt. I've been here numerous times. Yes, it's noisy, busy and a bit hectic but who cares because you can get diabetes so well in here. I mean, where else in the country that invented 'spotted dick and custard' can you nowadays get old Skool type puddings like that! Answer? Nowhere is where. Portions are fair, service is usually good and the prices are good. What's not to like? I just had Panjabi tea today and it was delightful: exactly what you need when it's cold and miserable which it tends to be most of the time in Blackburn. But here you can also have savoury snacks; some of which even my foodie pallet haven't had before. Really, give it a try, don't let the area and the rest of it make you go elsewhere because this place is genuinely good. And I am a food expert believe me. Visit soon.

Visited on Saturday 7th July at 1030pm.Good selection of ice-creams and cakes.Plenty of seating upstairs and down.Lots of staff but still have to wait a while to be served.Prices are what you expect at any dessert place ( overpriced ) but still not as pricey as some.Icecream and cakes are of a good quality but the state of the place in respect of hygiene and cleanliness is a disgrace.Floors are disgusting need mopping .Table with food left on them with flies hovering over them nobody to clear the tables or keep the place clean .Put us off eating there and decided to take it home.The management reading this please take note keep the place clean inside and out .You wouldn’t let your home get in such a state if friends or relatives where visiting would you ?

We love going to this place with the kids. Nice friendly staff and good quality food. The samosa chaat, shakes and waffles are really good. Would defo recommend to friends and family and to anyone visiting Blackburn.

I visited Marhaba with family. The service is good as the staff are very friendly. However.... the cakes are extremely dry (I ordered cake) and the restaurant needs a serious refurbishment. We sat upstairs and the room was appalling i.e. broken stained chairs, manky floor and dirty tables... absolutely disgusting... never again

Been twice this week. Had a combination of shakes, ice creams, waffles, rasmala and pink tea. All been really good and staff been friendly and helpful

We went there did not got served and was told we are too busy to serve you after ten minutes of waiting so we left and i don't we will visit this place .

Esta tarde pasó por anteriores con un compañero de camino de vuelta a casa a Lincolnshire después de una reunión celebrada en la ciudad. Ya habíamos comido y me apetecía un Falooda. Mi colega inglés jamás había tenido uno antes, así que fue a ser su primera experiencia!

Estado viniendo a este lugar por muchos años, ya que estaba en su primera ubicación. Siempre me encanta la samosa y pakoras. Fantástico, batidos, helados, galletas y pasteles, falludas. Un montón de dulces tradicionales asiáticas. Casi siempre comprar el ras de Malí. Un lugar fresco para descansar y comer cualquier día y hora de la semana. Puede estar muy concurrido, pero vale la pena para ser servido por colgar. Muchos asientos y una buena atención al cliente. Bazar gama blackburn whalley ofrece unos pocos lugares como este, pero esta es la primera cafetería de calidad! P. s. Blackburn es el mejor lugar en Lancashire para comida india.

We went Marhaba with family out 2 weeks ago. Fantastic waffles & milkshakes. There's no word to describe it.. one of the greatest place for children. Will come again.. Thanks

I go every Friday for all the right reasons, the people behind the counters are really nice so overall it is fantastic and I truly recommend this ice cream parlour to any one in town.

Great desserts as well as snacks and beverages, usually have to queue up to get served at the counter, plenty of seating at first floor level where you can relax and enjoy your dessert or beverages

A great place to go with family or friends. They do some excellent milkshakes, waffles ice creams etc. They have seating upstairs and downstairs. A very busy place but a place that is busy is obviously doing something right.

Love having hot custard and jam rolley polly here! Always a delight visiting this place for desserts & ice cream! It's also located not far from town centre as in a 10 min walk. Staff are friendly. They're always busy up until late at night which is a good sign that burners is booming!

When it's queing you know it's good. They do a wide selection of ice creams, milkshakes, sweets, waffles etc. Really popular place with the locals. Staff are good could be better at smiling but they are working so hard to get to the next customer they just don't have time to talk.

Excellent Indian and Pakistani sweet and icecream in Blackburn. You can find vegan dessert too! It's also well located near the Town Center. Easy to find!

Long waiting time to get food. Top floor has no wheelchair access so restricted to bottom floor. Food was decent just went for desert. Kids enjoyed it adults were not as impressed

I have been a number of times with fiends and family- they do lovely pastries and fast food as well a number of deserts. They have lovely cakes and a vast ice cream variety. I took my nieces recently and they loved it.Will definitely be coming again..

A wide variety of desserts ranging from unusual ice creams to milk shakes to die for as well as the exotic 'falooda'; a must try. It's a milk shake with jelly, rose syrup and real cream!

Really poor customer service. Very abrupt and lacking of basic manners by the staff. Won't return again as it lacked in terms of quality. Milkshakes were standard too.

I went in once with my wife and children even though there was a queue I approached the counter so my two little boys can decide what flavour they wanted before we joined the so we don't keep others waiting behind us all was good and well until a young man behind the counter spoke down to me and told me off in front of other customers and didn't even give me a chance to explain what I wasdoing. My wife and I felt so uncomfortable NEVER going back in ever again really bad customer service.As someone else mentioned they were so much better when they had the smaller shop a bit further up the street.Marhaba staff lose the attitude seriously there are plenty of other shops in Blackburn that sell what yousell but without the crap customer service you dish out with the deserts.

I went here after my meal in Kebabish. I ordered a jam Roly poly with custard and was not disappointed. There is a reason why people are queuing out the door at this place. It is the best for desserts that blackburn has to offer

It's a nice place, certainly catches the eye. There's a good range of food available, mainly desserts and sweets of course but there is some savouries too. I mainly go for an ice cream time to time, but the cookie dough from my most recent venture was quite good too! It's cheap enough to go in and not feel out of pocket, and it's always nice to look at the cakes! Service can be a bit slow sometimes though, which is particularly noticeable when there's a queue with families and kids running around, and you don't seem to be moving.

I would strongly advise anyone to avoid visiting this place as it is simply a waste of time. This place WAS once upon a time a very good place but now unfortunately they have not been able to keep up with demand hence their quality diminishing. Their customer service is now literally non existent (which once upon a time was amazing) with the managers even arguing with the customers if a genuine complaint is made. The desserts are no longer exciting and nothing new to what other places offer in the town. Parking is a huge problem and if you come to this place on a Friday or Saturday night your turn to place an order could take up to 30 mins as there is no orderly queue present at all. Avoid this place at all costs and instead visit the fig and the olive which is a new dessert place situated on top of shear brow which is currently the master of delicacies.

The recent refurbishment of the place has made it a highlight in the whalley range region. With a wide range of ice creams and cakes, marhaba has a lot to offer. I couldnt find anything to critisize. Staff were pleasant, place was clean, and the desserts delicious!

I'm a frequent visitor of this establishment and the recent renovation has made the atmosphere of this place better. Their desserts are hard to beat. A wide range of cakes and ice creams. And you can instruct them on the preparation of certain desserts such as their waffles. Overall an amazing place with a nice vibe. Will be visiting again.
