Great value for money and very tasty

Small place,but it was enough for 10 people to quickly fill up those tanks :-) The food was decent size,good tasty,we tried: double decker,some of the pizzas,and the burgers,really,all yummy. The staff members super kind and helpful. :-)

1 star is being generous. Pizza dough still raw, chips under cooked, greasy and green. Had to try salvage the pizza by chucking it in the oven, still SHITE!!!! Not recommended at all.

Really bad chicken. Gave chicken that had been reheated and looked old/manky. Thrown straight into the bin. Do yourself a favour and go hungry.

Brilliant food as ever; the regular delivery driver is friendly and polite, and they got it to me ahead of schedule. I have zero complaints. Looking forward to my next meal from them!

Chicken was cold and overcooked

2 Pizzas / 2 Fillet Burgers - arrived in no time, food was piping hot, pizzas really good, generous on toppings, A++

The chicken on the burger didn't taste fresh, was chewy.

Really unhappy tonight after receiving my order. Freddie’s has been brilliant for us usually. However tonight was disappointing. All of the chips were stale, the burger was cold and my partner said his chicken tasted funny. Delivery is always on time, but unfortunately it was like we got microwaved food instead of fresh. Such a shame as I was looking forward to it.

Chicken burger was grey and rubbery took 1 bite, couldn’t eat it.

Don't know if this place has been taken over by new people but the quality has gone down hill... got a simple rola meal and ut was soo tasteless and soggy this is not the 1st time I thought I'd give it benefit of doubt and go again but i dont think il be doing that agai n disappointed as I really used to enjoy their food

Its amazing we order from here every friday and they are always so kind just got some and we got some wings on the house and it was a diff adress but they recognised the name we have been loyal customers for the past 3-4yrs and never disapoints

Bought a chicken it was so oily The oil was dipping from the chicken and half cooked.

We eat here pretty regularly, getting the 14" pizza meal deal more often than not. For the price, the food is really good, and so is the service. Each time we order, the food always comes within 10-15 minutes of ordering, and it is always nice and hot. It's also rare for the pizza to be overly greasy, and it is a take away which does red salt on their fries, which can also be a rare occurrence.

Just bought our team £90 quids worth of pizza, chicken and chips from Fready's on Duckworth Street Darwen as a treat. It was absolutely spot on and fed 25 hungry staff. It was really fresh and tasted lovely. Chap was on his own too and did a great job!

Lovely food with amazing service.

Only 1 person to run the whole place.. waited a good 10 mins before he came up from the back of the shop.. then totally missed me standing straight infront of him and went to the lad behind me and asked what he wanted like I'm invisible a new trick I've required that I didn't know I had.. 16.68 for a fillet burger meal and a strips meal with 2 small tubs of water ( supposed to be gravy).. supposed to be under new management yet they seem 50 times worse than the last 1.. burger bun that could knock a rhino out even the dog turned it down.. to end SAVE YOURE MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE 👍

Bland pizza . Chips tasted greasy best thing was the cold Pepsi. Nice guy behind the counter very helpful. Shop nice and clean but I'm afraid the food was well below par . Also got a piece of chicken. Hardly any meat on it . You can't beat a good Eddie's Woodfired pizza for taste and dixieland the chicken is far better .

Since the new owners have taken over Freddy’s the food standards have gone up. I have consistently been ordering food from here for family and I haven’t been disappointed 10/10

One of the best takeaways I’ve ever been been going to him for 3 years since I’ve been in Darwen and I can’t complain about anything the food is always spot on and knowing he ain’t gonna be here no more I don’t think I’ll go back when he is gone al the respect to him and I hope the best for him he is a guy I’ll never forget and how much he has helped me all respect for him

I bought 6 wings and chips at a ridiculous price and the chicken was extremely oily and distasteful. It was so badly undercooked as the insides were pink this is incredibly appalling and you shouldn’t be serving customers this quality of food. I am utterly disappointed.

Just had a delivery, the pizza were burnt, and a portion of chips and a drink were missing. And the delivery driver put my food on the floor 😞

Bought 2 chicken burger meal. Chicken and bun tasted dry. Chips were OK. Gave 3 star because of price. £5 For less than £4 Same meal deal. At dixy or frangos Blackburn. Far better taste

Waited 2 hours for delivery, had to call to remind them we ordered, when receiving the food they forgot the chips, garlic sauce and pizza was cold. Shambles. Other than that tasty stuff.

Just ordered here for dinner and picked it up, had a bite of it and it looked pink so opened up the chicken and half of it was just pink. Absolutely disgusting will not be coming here again.

Orderd 2 chichen filets burger meals when they turned up no chicken fillets just 2 thin bread crums that you can get from any local super market also chips are also done in the same oil as the chicken. The billboard above the shop says chicken so use real chicken so this will lead us not doing business with your take away again

Good food made quickly. Would visit again. Has a 5 star hygiene rating and they keep the bread rolls fresh in a bag under boiling water. Has a limited selection of drinks
