Having read your reply I feel I must respond. It is very clear that you did not read my review. Firstly, I was not rude. And I took the pizza downstairs to be replaced. Questioning someone's ability to deal with a complaint effectively is not being rude, and as I said, at no time was my voice raised or bad language used, and if you had read the comments properly, you would know my opinions. Secondly, I said that the staff member claimed to be a Chinese takeaway when I phoned your number. This was clearly a member of staff having a laugh. Again if you had read my review you would have seen that. If you and your staff had dealt with this properly, there would have been no need to call you out publicly. A sorry, and a hot Pizza were all that was required. In your 42 years of dealing with the public you have clearly learned nothing about how to deal with the public. Other reviews also make similar complaints and indeed refer to your staff being economical with the truth. Clearly there is a pattern. In fact you contradict yourself in 2 of them Rather than hold your hands up, dealing with the problem, you and your staff are not interested and are hiding behind the bad customer routine. Clearly, customer service and staff training are not your forte. I suggest that you train your staff, start paying attention to detail and start taking responsibility. This is my last word on the matter and I look forward to see how Glasgow City Council deal with you. The service I experienced last night was a complete disgrace. All I wanted was a cooked Pizza. My experience is as follows: 1 Ordered a pizza which was delivered practically with the chicken clucking it was that cold. There was not even evidence of the cheese being browned, the base was lucky if it had been cooked. 2 Spoke with the "Manager" who I know from having gone in there for the last 20 years was not the manager but the lady who wraps the chips and told her my complaint. She made a point of roaring at me that she was the manager. (Customer service at its best) She said it would be replaced. 3 phoned 10 mins before closing. I was told they had tried to get me (nothing on the phone by the way that shows that any contact was made and the phone was hung up. 4 tried phoning a few times and was not answered, then told it was a Chinese takeaway and the sworn at down the phone by a lady who was not the manager I had always liked this place and the owner was a lovely guy. But given my last experience the standards (particularly on service have dropped)> I wish to make a point that at no time did I raise my voice or use bad language (because if you do when you complain it gives an easy way out), but I did receive both from rude, badly trained members of staff.

The rudeness and bad service I received tonight was beyond anything I have ever seen in my life. Over an undercooked pizza. I have used this place for many years. I will be up top see the owner tomorrow. Staff kidding on they were other restaurants

phoned and said driver was just leaving and the food wasn't warm when arrived... first time I've had a problem with leos..

Ordered a delivery of pizza n chips waited an hour phoned back and got told it was on its way food arrived another 15 mins later food was cold only a slight heat in it phoned to complain asked if I wanted another order sent said no.as I had already waited for it hot told to call back tonight when manager was in.the manager basically told me I was lying.and the food.is always kept in hot bags his attitude was appalling and I certainly won't be ordering anything from.here again

Ordered at 7.15. Called restaurant at 8.50 to be told they were preparing it and wouldnt be long, called back at 9.45 to be told it was out for delivery, it finally arrived at 10.10 freezing cold fish, luke warm chicken both went in bin. Terrible service. If your that busy dont take just eat orders.

Ordered around 6.10. Delivered 8.35. All food cold.

waited just under 3 hours for food the pizza was cold the chips very greasy and undercooked the curry sauce was lumpy very dissapointed

Never had a problem with my orders before until now app stated my food was delivered even though it never arrived until 20 mins after i was supposed to have received it by that time the food was cold and had to be reheated

We popped in after a game on the long drive home boxing day! 6 special fish suppers were superb! Definitely recommend! 10/10

Delivery status 'Out for Delivery ' at 17:10 and expected delivery 17:15-17:35. Didn't arrive by 17:40 and phoned only to be told it's on its way, delivery time changed to 17:55. Eventually delivered at 18:00. Denied part refund due to "being busy"

Usually go here one a month but last nite not the usual fryer Fish was overcook very greasy and chips had been lying for ages . Bought a large special supper and a large battered fish supper Any time we get a large fish supper the fish are a good size and one large supper is plenty for both of us .Fish were small last nite but was charged the same price. And because the fish had been overcooked the ends were too crispy to eat . First time this has happened to me but I was not impressed last nite

Tried this chippy for the first time tonight, fish was fresh and amazing, will be back to try more of the menu, the guy frying the food was a nice wee man.

I've had food from here before and its been nice, but last night the pizza wasnt cooked properly, and it wasn't proper cheese and the chips weren't even chippy chips and the curry sauce was full of lumps. Considering the prices they charge.

Always my go to for a fish supper but never again, asked for large fish supper regular fish supper, 2 fritters and a gravy. Once I got home I had no fritters , gravy was cold and congealed and the amount of chips wouldn't feed one person, also the chips were poor my son couldn't eat his as they were hard! Possibly no fritters as the staff and a guy on the customer side of the counter were too busy discussing their work schedules. Doubt I'll be back

I've been going to Leo's for many, many years. it's stood the test of time, against a lot of competition due to the highly quality food and friendly staff. my fish was amazing as usual. highly recommend

I ordered a large pizza and this was delivered in a 12" pizza box which I don't consider to be a large pizza

Paid £8.50 for one piece of fish and a portion of chips. I did agree to the price so not an issue. Fish was ok but chips were disgusting. Definitely not fresh potatoes. Went in the bin. Won't return

Got a large fish n chips delivered which cost £15.60. It arrived cold and wasn't in my option large. Two small pieces of fish and a small portion of chips. Owner replied and can't spell Baillieston correctly and here's my receipt.

I ordered single fish and single black pudding and got a bag of chips delivered. won't recommend I now need to stay up late and let my food digest. not great and won't use again. really disappointed.

3 hours for delivery worst service ever!!!

Waw unbelievable service. Shocking that after waiting over two hours for our order (which we do understand as it’s a Friday night and these things happen) we phoned the shop and were told it had left, 15 minutes later we phone back to see why it’s not been delivered and we were concerned about the state of the food as it would most like be cold and soggy when it arrived as we’d been told 15 minutes beforehand that it was on its way. The girl on the phone couldn’t be any less pleasant, she said that we were the same as everyone and just had to wait. We mentioned about it being cold, she said “it won’t be cold cos it’s on the hot plate” we said about it being soggy due to condensation, she said “it might be soggy but it’ll be hot”. We cancelled our order and ordered from another chippy as there are more in the area , just wish we’d done this in the first instance. We’ve always loved Leo’s but not willing to eat “hot/soggy food” regardless of how busy they are!

Got a text at 1820 saying order was on its way which it wasn't, I called the chip shop who said that the black pudding wasn't ready, then I call back again to be told that it's due to traffic, I ordered this at 1700 hrs and received it at 1925, the food was cold and my pizza was burnt.

Always get proper chippy chips and the pizza's with the thin base and tasty toppings are outstanding...

Best Traditional Fish n Chip shop in the area. Food is fantastic, staff are all lovely and so helpful. Plenty of choice for a Take Away menu.

So recently moved area and needed a new chipshop that the kids liked (my children have autism and so have food sensory issues) this place does amazing pizzas which my daughter seems to love as she refuses every type of frozen or homemade pizza but will devour the cheese one and its the only time I can get her to eat cheese.

The shops stood the test of time, over many years, due to quality of food and great staff. Fish is always lovely. Well deserved 5*

A Baillieston institution, try their Large Special Fish Supper, at time of writing this was £10 - you get two large haddock and loads of chips, so really 2 fish suppers. As it's a special super you need to wait as it'll be freshly fried, but it's well worth it. 👍

Well over an hour for 2 pizzas (10-12 mins to prep/make) and already cooked chips, from a place that’s 10 mins walk away. Delivery times are 35-50 mins before ordering, then 70 mins above once ordered?! Won’t be ordering again. Do better.

Driver came to front door but we were in the back garden as requested delivery to go there. Batter on fish was hard & not as good as usual
