Excellent all round service. Food is hot and tasty. Shame it was let down by Kitchen staff ignoring allergy for the salad - peppers added dispute asking for none due to allergies. Witnessed order put to kitchen staff with a mention of the allergy

Atrocious Pizza. To call this authentic Italian Pizza, is an insult to every Italian man, woman and child. It even offends the animals living in Italy too which tend to eat anything they are given, except this pizza. I do not know what is worse, the pizza or the rude customer service... I am not one to complain usually but when I called to explain that the pizza had no flavour, and was just thrown together without much care, the lady on the phone took it very personally exclaiming her sister had made the pizza and her dads name was above the door. I feel bad for her dad. They should really take his name down. Anyway. They offered no resolution, and acted as if I had done something wrong for having the courtesy to call to discuss it with them, hence this review. Myself and my partner have now both been sick from this pizza. Please save yourselves the pain, not to mention the 1.5 hour wait time when promised in 20 minutes. Just order from a1 pizza instead, where they actually make italian pizza with real italian ingredients. Not some fake italian sausage and fake mozzarella. I think if they stopped scrimping on ingredients their customers might actually get to enjoy something other than cheap (non mozarella) cheese and cheap canned tomatoes, and some dough which quite frankly is of lesser quality than dominos. I would like to end this review on a positive note, however there is nothing positive to say about the worst pizza I have had in years. It was not edible. I regret eating a slice in hope it would get better. Now I wish my phone battery had died prior to ordering so I would not have had to experience such bad food. It is insulting that I even had to pay for it.

Definite authentic Italian. People are lovely. Food delicious. Coffee amazing. Can't say enough nice things.

One of the best pizza places in Bedford and always a warm welcome to what is more like a family lounge than a shop which has a nice charm to it.

I left Bedford a few years ago and one of the only things I miss is Marcello's tray pizzas.

If you want a decent take away pizza, Marcello’s is the one!

I’d say this is the best takeaway pizza I’ve had - and great value for money! Our friends were impressed with the pizza tray and the kids love it too! If you’re thinking of getting pizza from one of those big chains think again: better pizza better value!

I first had a slice of pizza from this place when a customer ordered and shared some to me and a colleague, I remember thinking it was the best pizza I ever had! So today I’ve gone and ordered myself a pizza and cheesecake. From the very nice lady on the phone, to the friendly delivery driver, this place is class. You can tell the pizza is of the highest quality, I will recommend this to all my fellow pizza lovers. 10/10.

First time, we ordered pizza for 6 of us and all of us got stomach ache … it was burned partly … I gave second chance to this place. Second time, I ordered pasta and I am sorry to tell this but it was the worst pasta I have ever eaten … It was not completely cooked almost raw and was hard to chew… and again stomach ache… I can’t believe this place got over 4 points

Ordered a pizza tonight, had a bit of a mix-up with deliveries - confusing, but got to the bottom of what happened eventually - but Marcello's were brilliant and sorted it quickly. Fighting with Mama Concetta for the title of best pizza in town. Extremely busy Friday and Saturday night, you better call ahead for delivery or collect yourself. The pizza trays have no competition in Bedfors, they are massive and very good, ideal for large parties (well, my wife and I have got one for just the two of us a few times, you get diner and lunch in one)

Every time I try to place an order I always have issues, either they don't take any orders or they are closed, there is always a problem. It's new years eve I was thinking to order pizza 3 hours into their closing time and they have announced that all the orders have been taken place. I am very disappointed👎

Amazing pizza, we've had a tray Pizza before which is the best in bedford by far!! and tonight I got to order a gluten free pizza along side my family, THE BEST GLUTEN FREE PIZZA IVE EVER EATEN! Piping hot, lovely flavours, mixed salad presented beautifully and full of fresh salad and lovely dressing, garlic dough sticks delicious and really tasty fries. Lovely staff in the phone , keep up the good work

Bought a tray start of September for a Birthday celebration. The pizza tray was fantastic, large and had enough ingredients from every toppings, and was exceptionally tasty and delicious! We recommend this pizzeria to anyone who wants a real pizza! :)

Been looking for somewhere that does party tray pizzas for ages, and finally found Marcello! It was delivered fast and I have to say its probably the best pizza I've ever tasted. There were lots of toppings, all fresh and delicious. The kids were very happy too. I cant wait to order again and try some other toppings.

I had a party catering emergency today. The lady I spoke to on the phone was so helpful - went out of her way to see if they can fit me in and even helped me calculate slices per person etc. The pizza arrived on time and was delicious according to the guests! Will definitely use again.

Partners pizza was good but mine was very lacking in toppings. After an hours wait I was quite disappointed 😞

Didn’t even get to try the pizza waited over 2 hours. If I didn’t have to pay for a PCR test I would of flown to Italy it would of been quicker. My friend who was on the telephone to them chasing it up was spoken to in a rude and unhelpful manner. The fact that it would of taken 2 hours. we obviously wouldn’t of ordered.

My partner she orders quite often from them, I do on every family gathering but last two times they overcharge us on large pizza trays. Phone them to sort it out and came with lame excuses. Will be waiting to clear card payment and will raise a dispute with the bank. Will no longer order from them!

Even for a busy evening I was able to order food and collect within half an hour. Love their pizzas. The calzone was gorgeous and all great value.

Every time I come the owner is fuming and angry 😤 and pizzas base is burned with the paper underneath. Is not the same as it use to be.

Well worth a visit but you need to know where it is as it's tucked away. The pizzas we had were very good and I'd happily go there again.

One of the best pizzas out there, made fresh and to your liking. It's a bit out of the way but it's definitely worth the visit. Alternatively, they do offer a delivery service as well. Everybody in there seems happy and helpful, whatever you might need.

Pretty good pizza no complaints at all... Much better than a domino's or pizza hut authentic Italian flavours. Would have been a 5 star but I've had some REALLY good pizza... But if you can't get to Italy then you won't go far wrong with marcellos

Wow l have never had or tasted a pizza like that, l went there with my mate who is a regular there along with his family, and the service and the owners were so friendly, and all the food was cooked from fresh, well worth a visit.

Hard to find a decent restaurant with greta service in area, been to Marcello's many times and always great service, friendly staff and great food. Keep up the good work.

Me and my friends ordered a pizza to enjoy with the football. The taste of the pizza was nice but it made half of us unwell and I threw it back up again. The ingredients on the pizza were mainly meat. Personally would never order from here again.

The staff is so rude! I had ordered a pizza a couple times before and never had a problem like today. A driver shout at me to came down (living in a flat on the 1st floor) and when I refused he shouted at me more, so I said thank you, go away. Then somebody else called to me and said F**k off!!! I just read all your menu, there is nothing about delivery to only front door!!!

After having an amazing pizza in Venice on our honeymoon, we realised that we could never go back to any of the high street 'pizza' restaurants ever again. Marcello's was recommended to us and we were not disappointed. Amazing fresh flavours, good quality ingredients and quick delivery. Can't fault them. My only complaint is I couldn't force myself to eat anymore once I was full!! The best pizza I've had in the UK by far. We will be back :-)

Came in and tried to order a tray with no cheese on the edge bit , due to my neice being lacto intolerance. Was told NO order a 10"if you want . Asked a number of questions on what we could order with it and was rudely spoken to. The pizzas are ok the service is the worst I've come across is years.. Even my neice was shocked. Did find it quite expensive and also charged for the cheese when we did not have one her pizza.Wont be going back soon... shame as always supporting local.
