Maple Moose Belfast in Belfast

AVOID!!! They dont seen to have changed. Still rude and ignoring their customers.. have they not learnt from their mistakes or di they not read their reviews? Surely, considering corona virus, where lots of better cafes and restaurants have closed down, they should be thankful for any customers. They weren't even busy.

No puedo creer las críticas negativas. Este lugar estaba muy ocupado y el personal permaneció tranquilo. Podría haberlo hecho con una porción más de comida y sin los clientes tontos tratando de pedir café en la barra de alcohol. La hamburguesa de la casa es tan buena como la que he comido y el resto de la familia que comió panini's disfrutó de su comida. Este es un lugar de comida rápida junto al mar, no un post-restaurante. ¡Sigan con el buen trabajo! PD: ¡mantén tus cervezas agradables también!

I came here with my friend for a crepe after school and the food was lovely definitely recommending you go to it

Fui a Maple alces con mi marido para un regalo. El café estaba muy desordenado y mesas tremendamente. Pedimos una fresa y chocolate brownie sundie sundie. Tanto fue muy decepcionante. helado y muy escasa. crystalised sobre basura razonable si me preguntan

Acabo de llevar a la hija más joven a Maple Moose para una delicia, servida por una mujer mayor muy agradable, la experiencia destruida por una rubia entrometida de 30 años que quería tomar nuestro helado antes de que lo pidiéramos, y luego insistió en tomar el dinero antes que yo había ordenado Por favor, entrene a su personal. ¡Se quedará con Fuscos en el futuro!

AVOID I was going for a little treat and i walked up to the counter and asked for two crêpes with toffee sauce and strawberries for me and my son i paid i order and presumed it would be ready in no time 20 minutes later still no food the workers were messing around a boy and a girl with the spatular (crêpes maker) and the girl was sneezing all over my food her hair hung down all over are food and still didn't give are food we had been waiting 40 minutes now so i asked to see the manager he said he'd have it fixed finally they come up with a toffee crêpe no strawberries we waited so long for are crepes and when we got the correct order we were put off are food Don't recommend to any one

The staff are incredibly rude( apart from the young girl with dark hair ) , the owner is border line passive agressive , and they had 4 baked potato 's and a bowl of salad as the ONLY food option at a Friday lunchtime.

I've visited Maple Moose several times. If you're looking anything Gluten Free, forget about it. Each time I have been in, I'm told that they are getting GF bread in. It never happens. They don't seem interested. This place could be an outstanding eatery if it was properly managed and the staff were trained. Thankfully there are other coffee shops close by that are much more Gluten Free friendly.

If your on a budget then stay away you get the shock at the till. So make sure you check it out alone before bringing the kids

Called here with my kids. Once ordering what i wanted i was told no waffles, no crepes!! Weird!! So i ordered ice cream and hot chocolate and paid for them. Once i sat down i was approached by member of staff that there was no powder left for hot chocolate. What kind of establishment is this?. Tbh any time iv been in here there is not a great selection of cakes and buns aswell and there was hardly anything in their drinks fridge. Staff arent very friendly either. Only reason il go to this place is for ice cream for the kids. Standards have fairly slipped. Think id rather take my money to mauds on lisburn rd. Nicer selection awell.

We called here a few weeks ago for ice-cream and dessert before visiting family in the area. I ordered a slice of chocolate cake with fresh cream and an Americano, my hubby and daughter had ice cream. When the cake was brought to me it looked good but when I went to put my fork into it, it seemed very hard. I touched the side of the cake and it was two things, rock hard and very warm I couldn't believe it. I brought it up to the counter and advised them and they said yes we heated it in the microwave (which I didn't ask for and they didn't advise) when ordering. It was no problem for them to change it (thank goodness there was another slice of the same cake available). When the new slice came it was ok a bit hard round the sides so I think that comes from it being stored in too cold a temperature. The Americano is definitely one of the best around so I'd definitely recommend if you like coffee you try. Just be forewarned if you don't like your dessert heated make sure you say when ordering to avoid disappointment.

Been wanting to try here for a while and managed to just after Christmas holidays. Was worth the wait one of the best americanos I've had anywhere. We were a party of 3 adults and 3 children. The place does speciality coffees and cakes, ice cream and hot food selection. I would definitely return to try for lunch. It was around 7pm when we visited so it was very quiet. The staff were friendly and the place was bright and clean. I wanted a menu to take with me for perusing but they didn't have any that was the only negative. The children and adults enjoyed their ice cream very much no complaints. As granda treated us I don't know how much it cost, but places like this that sell speciality ice cream like Mauds aren't cheap. Will definitely return and based upon our experience would recommend.

Just stopped at your castle court branch. I have never had such a bad experience anywhere. I asked for a small tub of marshmallows and was told I could only have it as a topping on an icecrean! I explained that my toddler had allergies and couldn't have ice cream. Their reply was that they couldn't give me a tub of marshmallows as they didn't have a button for it on their till. Very poor service!!! They missed out on our custom today!

A very popular haunt for school kids and families. If you stick to a coffee and an ice cream cone you'll not go too far wrong however when you begin to multi order the staff struggle to multi task! The system for ordering, paying, coffee and food was a nightmare. The chef delivered the tuna sandwich to the table and before he put it down told us that if the tuna isn't 'right' to bring it back. 1 bite later we changed it to a chicken wrap that stunk of egg! Off course I'll be back but just for an ice cream and coffee!

Me and my partner called in on monday night 20th April around 8.00. There was quite a lot of people in sitting down but there was no queue. Me and my partner went to counter where three staff busy footering around did not acknowledge us...

This isn't any old ice cream, it's ice cream of the highest order using all sorts of weird and wonderful concoctions, needless to say my two wee girls were very happy,messy and hyper!!

I regularly bring my kids for a treat to maple moose. They have an excellent menu but located in west belfast it is a little expensive and a lot of friends agree. Staff are friendly thou there is always so many working and sitting about.
