The best place in Soho for a quick meal with loads of veg that won’t break the bank. The falafels are so magically light and crispy I had to force myself to leave before I ordered another 50. And the staff are lovely too 👍

Super delicious falafel/hummus bowl at an unbeatable price! Able! Service was good and quick. In terms of the ambience, it's still fast food, but you'll be looked after like in a "real" restaurant. :)

Maoz staff are the best you can having serving you in a restaurant. They are kind, hospitable, and pays keen attention to hygiene and customers orders and needs. Their food organization are done in such an orderly and organized, I as a Vegan don't have to worry about cross mixing with non-Vegan foods. Maoz is very clean as they have a strong emphasis on 5-star or proper food standard hygiene. I just love this restaurant Maoz and I am always recommending it to my family, friends and clients.

I’ve always loved this place. And am glad they changed it back to what it used to be. The owner is a gentleman, and whenever he is there everything is great. However the last few times I’ve been I’ve felt conned by the regular staff. I am receiving portions comparable to a supermarket wrap. Huge tubs of fillings but I get 1 olive, 2 pickles, a teaspoon of couscous etc. Also the newer male staff aren’t diet aware. They put chicken in the fryer with gloves, then make falafel wraps with no glove change. It never used to be this way. I’m hoping the owner reads this and whips his staff into shape as this place is only let down by its newer staff (especially the tall guy).

I've been coming here for years and always receive a warm welcome from the friendly staff. Their falafels are delicious and it's all freshly made in front of you so you can choose which salad items to have in your wrap/pitta/bowl.

One of my favourite London falafel shops. Absolutely delicious. The care that goes into every wrap and the excellent ingredients really sets it apart. Excellent value too. The service is also excellent. If you can't tell already, I'm a fan!

Regular Falafel store in Soho, London. £7 or so for a Chicken Schnitzel wrap. It tasted really good, would recommend if you’re ever feeling peckish!

🌱 Delicious falafel in central London 🥙🧆 Maoz in Soho is one of our favourite spots if we find ourselves hungry in central London without any table reservation or late at night. It can get busy during the weekend but so far we always managed to find a spot. The atmosphere is kind of like a nicer fast food place, but seems hygienic and they plate the food beautifully. The falafel and ingredients always seem very fresh.

This place became a tradition to finish a night there. For and my friends. Today the food was the same delicious as always. now I am vegan and so happy to eat their falafel!!! @veganoying

Best falafel and halal chicken salad plates in central!

Awful place, never experienced such hostility. The men behind the counter stood in a line glaring at us, we smile and they turn away? Very odd behaviour. Saw one guy scratch his beard and then continue preparing food, was so disgusted. The waitress was nice and sweet though!

It is an exceptional restaurant and not to be missed, the menu, the flavours, the atmosphere - and the value - are better than everywhere else in the area. We are so pleased that we decided to have lunch at this place in the heart of Soho. It was super clean, warm and welcoming. We even got coffee from the shop next door as this place didn't do coffee. The four of us loved our meals. The falafel were amazing. The chips were super hot and fresh. All the food was really good and very well priced. As a Londoner, I will certainly visit again. Great service. 😊

This used to be a lovely Middle Eastern restaurant, very cosy, great varied menu , lovely atmosphere. Maybe new owners? Food menu is very limited, and not great, no atmosphere.. bright lights . Waiting staff surly at best!! All in all a very disappointing experience after the many times I have been here in the past

Stumbled upon Maoz in Soho late on a Friday night, and it was a delightful surprise! The place might look simple, but the food is top-tier, especially for late-night cravings. It's even better when paired with some bubbly. A hidden gem in Soho!

Absolutely rude staff, dirty tables and floor and of course the food it’s terrible! The bread was old and the falafel was disgusting. 3£ for a bottle of water???? Absolutely a big NO! Avoid

The food was kind of OK, but they don't follow the menu from all of the other Maoz's around Europe and you can't have the buffet with the delicious vegetables they tend to have, plus they charge extra for the sauces. Also, it was not vegan, they even had chicken. It was disappointing to want to try Maoz and seeing what they've done with the business

Amazing felafel bowl and great price

We really enjoyed our lunch here! We were greeted at the door by a lovely waitress. The food was delicious and very filling. As you can see from the photos, it was also presented very nicely. There are so many options and you can choose between chicken, falafel, mix or halloumi in a bowl, wrap or pitta. Also fantastic value, particularly given the location!

Overall this was a nice healthy snack spot in the centre of Soho, which is a nice change from burgers and fast food. We got to choose out of the Bowl, Roll, Pitta and Salad. There are 4 different mains options to choose from out of Falafel, Chicken Schnitzel, halloumi and aubergine. We got falafel and Schnitzel as a bowl. If you are feeling for more than one item, you can also opt for a mix of these items too.

Had a quick lunch here: great food + lots of vegetarian options + lovely service + good price

Great service. Lost some stars because the food was not as good as you’d expect for 4.7 stars… hummus was not smooth, chicken was stringy and weird, the herbs and veggies in the salad were chopped way too large, the playlist was terrible top 40’s from 10 years ago. Fine for a quick casual bite. Definitely NOT 4.7 stars.

Absolutely no idea why its so highly rated. We were very disappointed. The bread was dry, tasted like leftover, lamb meat was too tough, prawn got weird texture. Only praise went to the tahini aubergine, but that was the only thing tasty.

Truly excellent food and service. Starter: Hummus and Turkish bread. The hummus has an excellent variety of smooth, creamy, and grainy textures in the hummus, and the bread is slightly crisp on the outside while soft inside. I also highly recommend the cauliflower. Main: The falafel wrap was OUTSTANDING. I don’t quite know how to describe why it was so special, other than to say perfect flavor and texture.

12 years ago it used to be Maoz the Vegetarian place - serving authentic falafel and freshly made vegetarian food. Not anymore, it actually transformed as they have been continuously working on perfecting the menu…. Include full Middle Eastern non veg menu now! I prefer the old Moaz personally !! Food and current menu is delicious, not sure if we will return back as it is now standard Middle Eastern “overpriced” cafe.

The grilled meats at this restaurant are amazing, high quality and full of flavour. Staff service is super friendly and relaxed. The hummus with mushrooms was delicious. Definitely give it a shot if you’re around and feel like some mixed grills with authentic flavours.

Great, and good value lunch time menu. Aubergine and Falafels both tasty, fresh and well prepped. Good friendly service too 👍.

Too expensive and not worth the meal.

First of all kitchen is open till 2am (but will not sit you after 1am). Not too fancy so don’t worry, only your palate needs to be fancy. Their food is fu#%ing great. A combination of libaneses, Turkish, Israeli food. Thank me later.

Came here for Dinner with my boyfriend and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff were super welcoming and friendly and catered to our every need. The hot starters were all stunning and the presentation of all of the dishes were gorgeous! Tried falafel for the first time and can now say it’s one of my favourite dishes for sure. Came here for a date, recommended by a fried and the place did not disappoint quick and friendly service, everything tasted very fresh, and my top 3 items ordered would be the HUMMUS STAKE, LAMB CUTLET and STRAWBERRY PIÑA COLADA. After reading the reviews I thought I would give it a go, must say made the wrong choice. The portion size was too small, and no sauce or bread was given unlike other similar places around. They had no rice last min, hence we were offered fries or couscous for the same price. Overall major disappointment for the price we payed.

Laughably awful food. Chicken is like plastic. Tabbouleh no taste at all and baba ganoush tastes fermented, clearly gone bad. No idea how this place has anything more than 2 stars.

I've visited Maoz last week with a friend and we both had a great experience! Both the food and service were excellent. I recommend the chicken kebab and falafel which were tender and tasty, washed down with a bottle of pinot grigio. It was so nice I'm going again this weekend :-)
