Manzil Restaurant in Bradford

Our first visit last evening - and certainly won't be the last - thanks to Moklis and the team! We've been trying to plan a visit for a while as Moklis did such an amazing job at Amontola Fusion in Cross Roads so a last-minute booking that didn't disappoint! From the warm welcome on a wet and windy evening right through to the thoughtful treat at the end. The food was piping hot and delicious, the service was professional but personal, and Moklis - as always - was the perfect host. I'd recommend booking in advance as this place is really popular but that never takes away the great atmosphere. 6 stars if that was possible!!

Ordered take out for the first time. Really fresh and super tasty. Good quality food and great value for money. The pickle tray was fab too! We will definitely be ordering again.

The new look has definitely changed the appearance for the better, with a more friendly appeal. The food served was flavoursome and very tasty, a great experience. This will definitely be our go to place.

Waited an hour for the forgotten food which by then the rest of the food was cold. Rang 3 times to find out where our food was. Staff was rude. Didnt get an apology untill we complained.

Relax atmosphere and fantastic attention to customers, we had poppadoms, pickle tray, mains, giant nans, rice and coffee..... after spending the day really busy moving a friend we were treated to a well earned dinner, honestly I couldn't fault the food or service.... recommended

Left a bit of a negative review on just eat and unfortunately can't write another to update it but would like to say thank you to the resturaunt. We ordered some curries and one did not taste right, we took it back to the resturant and they sorted it right away for us apologised and replaced it with a fresh one which tasted absolutely delicious and they even threw in a free drink, chapatis and sauce. So thank you very much and the new curry was very much enjoyed 😊

Excellent first evening meal. Parking is very very limited, so plan your visit on this one way street. Food was served hot and was very tasty. You can find the main menu on their website. I have attached the sweet menu and some pictures of our food. Is is not one of the cheapest.. the service was excellent and welcoming. We had for a couple 2 starters 2 main courses 2 deserts 1 soft drink That came to just under £40. Do check if they accept payment by card, I took cash just in case. Edited 13 February 2024 New Manzil now offer an.excelle t deliver service and ordering directly on the website. Received our first delivery at the weekend and it was just like as it is in the restaurant, tasty, hot and just the perfect bradford curry.

Fantastic, this place is a must. Quality food and quality service.. I don't know how they do it for the money. We will defiantly be back

2nd time in a week that we have eaten here , both with different friends . They all absolutely loved the food , great portions, lovely staff ! You can bring your own alcohol so does bring the price down . But still very reasonably priced . A couple of pubs near by so makes a great place to go for an evening out

Just been for a family meal, when you thought the Manzil couldnt get any better, Moklis and his team have raised the bar, the service was really good and nothing was too much trouble , the early bird at £13.95 for 3 Course is a bargain, and it's not licensed anymore so you can take your own Alcohol . It certainly won't be the last time we go this year .

So thought we would try this place out and got a curry and a starter. Was really looking forward to it. Well that was stupid took a hour to come even though it’s round the corner. Then when it did turn up he had obviously dropped the bag as there was curry sauce all over the bag. Then there was 3 peace’s of chicken in the curry. I ordered 3 chapatis and they didn’t come at all. The food was quite cold aswell. So I rang them to complain. The owner said he was too busy to speak on the phone and told the guy on the phone that next time we order we can have 10% off. Which is £2.30. About the same price as 3 chapatis. I’ll not be going back at all.

Our family of five visited the restaurant last night and we found the food to be excellent,(naans are delicious) the service really good, and the price very reasonable. The staff were friendly and welcoming..we will definitely be visiting again. Also, love that you can take your own drinks!

Brilliant food early delivery to Wilsden which we loved and polite delivery driver piping hot to the door clean fresh not oily in the slightest 100% getting another 4 Yr old and 7 year old shared a korma and rice eat every bit I'd recommend fish massala for a starter or onion bahjie if hungry as u get 3 big ones .

We have been to the New Manzil this evening for New Years Day. The service was excellent and the food delicious 😋 There was a really nice atmosphere and it was very clean and a nice environment. We were so impressed and it is definitely worth a visit. We paid the bill (which was very reasonable) and we have booked again for Valentines day! Give it a try and support a local business. They deserve it!

Thought I'd give this a try Friday 29th. I went mid evening. It was dead, no one in. Ordered a Kashi Murgh Bhuna takeaway. The food came quicker than I expected. The food was a mish mash of meats, not well presented & really bland. I only managed to eat about a third before giving up. I didn't rate the old Manzil & this isn't any better in my opinion. Couldn't recommend & won't be going again.

The people who have taken over this restaurant are crooks. Both have been tax investigated and paid several fines for their previous establishment, one being pabna in pontefract- who is also very threatening. Be careful paying via cards etc . They also do over their own family members.

The person who has taken the restaurant over - Moklis is my brother. Owes me 9 years of rent. 4 joined properties in Bradford. Be careful has a reputation of taking care details and using on several sites

Been visiting Manzil frequently since 2011, the staff, service and food is second to none. Our Friday nights will not be the same without Sadique and family, we thank them for their hospitality over the years.

Excellent food served from an extensive menu. Waiters helpful and efficient. Very good value. What a shame the place was almost empty, which made it somewhat cheerless (though the restaurant also served takeaways)

Lovely cosy family run Indian restaurant. Food is fresh and tasty and so delicious. Each dish made perfect. Everyone eating in seems friendly and really enjoying the meal and evening out. Great prices and promotions too in the restaurant so a budget to suit every pocket. Come eat and find out yourself.

We were recommended by a friend, service is good. the chicken in one of our meals was very rubbery (overcooked) I’m hoping this is a one off and will give them another try

Without a shadow of doubt the finest curry house in Thornton, its not up against much competition but the food is brilliant, the staff are 10 miles beyond helpful and restaurants always spotless. Brilliant would recommend especially if you want to eat out.

Found this restaurant on Google and decided to try it as the reviews were good. It didn't disappoint! We ordered a take away, the staff were great, very courteous and helpful. The food we got was excellent, very tasty and cleanly cooked from fresh and good value. Will definitely be having another, next time we're over this way and would highly recommend. I wouldn't mind dining in the restaurant next time, thank you guys, definitely 10/10.

Took my family out this evening myself my wife Tracy and son Grant plus my grandson Rory instead of cooking tea, and as always Manzils owner welcomed us and always makes you all feel very special customers, the food was sublime as always, we would always recommend this restaurant.

Ordered 3 different curries all tasted and looked the same. Chicken was tough. Naans are tiny Will not go again

Got chicken pakora £4.50. only got 5 prices, good quality, but misery portion for the money. Also got meat bhoona. Decent quality, but l have had better in my home town of Glasgow.

We ordered some food to collect, as they don't deliver and it was the best Indian food I've had in a long time! Takeaways are very hit and miss these days, so I think it's always best to get take out from a restaurant. It might be a little more expensive but it's worth it!

I live just over the road from Manzils and tonight my partner and I were really tired and decided to have a take away. It was such a lovely surprise to have a free couple of onion Bhaji's and dip plus with our curry. They even delivered it. We wouldn't choose anywhere else, such lovely customer service and fantastic food. Proud to call you our local!!

Twice I've been here. Both times have been awful. Worst curry I've ever had. Rather have a curry ready meal from tesco. Wouldn't serve it to my dog

Been going here for over 10 years. Food has always been good but the service has fallen through the floor in our last three visits. Wont be going back for a while. This weekend was terrible. 1/2 full restaurant. 2 waiters and over 2 hours to get served. We had to ask to order drinks after 15 mins. Then again and again. Waiters seemed like they wanted to be anywhere else in the world apart from there. One lad was nice but obviously not a happy bunny, the other away with the faries. We would have ordered more drinks and thus more money for the restaurant if we had the chance but had to chase them to get anything. Needs better waiting staff or a manager on the desk. Hope they can turn it around.

I'm afraid its gone a bit downhill this place. Went last we and it was empty and can see why. Got sheikh kebabs to start and they weren't cooked. Was not charged. Curry was bland. Disappointed. Used to be mint this place. They maybe had an off night.

This is a fantastic clean restaurant, that serves great quality food, you just can't resist at very affordable prices. Don't take my word for it go and try it.

Lovely family run restaurant with a great menu. Only downside was the service was very slow this time despite it being quite quiet. There was a lot of takeaways and clearly these were being prioritised over people dining in. Food was great though, so if it was just adults dining it is worth the wait; a bit more difficult when you have hungry children with you!

This is restaurant isnt halal but they advertise as fully halal, AVOID. The waiters were arrogant, will not visit and try else where if your hungry.

Went at a prebooked time waited an hour for anybody to take orders ,only 3 tables full.so not busy left hungry 1hour 40 mins later as still.no sign of food ,as a regular who supported these during lockdown I expect better doubt we will go again .Had they explained they were short staffed etc we could have had the choice to go but to wait almost 2 hours in an empty restaurant is unacceptable.

Terrific food, well prepared, and presented. Great quality and flavour. As ever ordered far too much. Take home a doggy bag and you have a meal for the next day!

Yet another great meal in this Cozy little restaurant ( so nice to be eating in after the latest restrictions being lifted). The staff are really attentive ( but not over the top). Been eating here for 12 Years and never had a bad meal. Would recommend for anyone visiting the Bradford Area.

Another great Lockdown takeaway tonight. The Portions are huge, and the quality of the food is fantastic, you pay a little bit more than a normal takeaway, but the food is restaurant quality, can’t wait to be sat back in eating.

Absolutely fantastic, love it here perfection every single time. The staff are superb and honestly amazing people that I love talking to. Usually we go in to eat where we are greeted so warmly and with such kindness that it's one of our absolute favourite places to go. Because of lockdown we ordered from there for the 1st time and it was absolute perfection. The food was absolutely divine from the curry (3 x chicken tikka madras and a chicken balti) to the naan, rotis, rice, poppadoms. So full of flavour and the same restaurant quality from eating in. Would absolutely recommend, the wait time can be a little higher at peak times (Saturday evening) than a regular takeaway but it's well worth the wait for great quality food and supporting a wonderful business with amazing people.

Lovely takeaway tonight as always. Excellent staff and food. A local business to support in these difficult times.

We decided to have a change and go out to eat.we do eat here .the service is really good. It's always clean and tidy.and I cannot complain about the food.but last night05/12/19 2 older ladies were eating at the table behind us. One of them asked a very young waiter I believe him to be called almas if he could help her to stand the young man helped her no problem. Well done for having fantastic staff and he was so polite. .

Went for Thursday early bird menu 5 adults and food was fabulous and plenty of it , service was excellent restaurant clean and tidy , very happy with bill came to under £60 for all of us
