So glad this established has re opened after having a facelift, which looks fabulous. Very clean. Kebabs are lovely, & friendly staff .

Lovely donor kebab - only ordered small but there was lots of lovely, well cooked meat, and lovely fresh salad. Top marks - well done

Fish was good, sausage in batter ok but the chips were soggy and not great. Best to wait until the season changes.

I ordered two Shish kebabs. I paid a lot £7.90 each for the smallest size. Waited a long time ( half an hour) , couldn’t hear or see the meat being cooked. I ended up with maybe 5 pieces of tough meat in each kebab. Wasn’t sure if it was even lamb? This take away used to do the best shish kebab 10 years ago. I felt ripped off and worried about what I was actually eating.

Ordered Sausage and chips, paid for sausage and chip. Got home and had just chips. Rang to complain and was told there was a sausage there and I was lying. Never going in there again. Chips were grey and rank and staff rude.

Absolutely RANK!!!! if you have money to waste and have an iron stomach by all means give it a go, otherwise I advise to go somewhere else or go hungry...partner collected 2 fish 1 large chips 2 mushy peas, peas transparent swimming in water chips raw in the middle fish was edible in a sandwich as the rest of meal got binned, called up as I wanted to return the bag of S#*t to get a refund to be told errrr no sorry we don't give refund's, after a debate of 15 minutes I put the phone down and a submited a trading standards form!!!! Rip off merchant's.

I am disgusted by this poor service. I ordered 20 minutes ago. Within this time, a different customer has come in and order the exact same thing as me. They were served within a minute. I am still sat here waiting for my food. When I’m eventually served I’ll be back with my food review... After another 10 minutes of waiting I was given the displeasure of eating it. Cold, soggy and heartbreaking chips. Cold, soggy and underwhelming pie. Cold, soggy and devastating fish cake. If I could give this “chip shop” a minus rating then believe me I would. This is the worst experience at a chip shop I’ve ever had and will be going out of my way to avoid this place at all costs.

Chips, soggy and cold Battered sausages, batter soggy and all cold Fish cake, ok Cod roe, batter soggy and roe cold Chicken kebab, a pile of lettuce and onion on a pita bread! Onion rings, burnt and inedible. Apart from that, great meal !!!! But won’t be going again!

Made the mistake of ignoring despite seeing the constant steam of negative reviews on Just Eat. Use to order regularly a few years back so ordered out of nostalgia and to make a change. Ordered (7.50ish) and 2.5 hours later, no delivery! Rang to be told they only had 1 driver on (who turned out to not be able to properly communicate - not his fault). Being part of Just Eat & on a Friday night you’d expect more than 1 driver. Maybe it would be wise if they go back to basics with collect only. My partner rang (10.20ish) and they were resigned to cancelling our order. No real apology. Absolutely shocking, disappointing.

Collected two shish kebabs and cheesy chips. Took me 5 minutes to get it home already cold, chips soggy, old salad. Cost over £20! Don't bother!

Really liked this place, friendly staff and delicious chips, no complaints and would go there regularly if I lived in the area.

I came here to purchase fish and chips for my team at work. I spent £40 and the 4 pies i bought were partially frozen in the middle. I rang to complain asi felt it was wrong and was told i would have to drive back the cold food to get replacements. Buyer Beware.

After visiting Kingsthorpe Cemetery yesterday lunchtime ,my daughter decided she fancied a bag of chips to eat in the car on the way home . She was served by 2 very unkempt men behind the counter who did'nt seem very keen on their appearance (even though they were serving food) . Never in my life i have seen chips looking and tasting so awful ! When my daughter returned to the car and opened the lid to the "chip box" all of the chips were black, and stone cold . As i had parked on the main road and could'nt turn up to one of the side streets, i told my daughter to close the lid on them and we would throw them away as soon as we got home . I hate to leave "bad" reviews anywhere but reading all of the other comments and reviews ,it seems i am not alone with my opinion .

The most unprofessional, hostile, and insulting staff I've ever dealt with After calling when our food was late, the man on the phone immediately protested about it not being his fault. I said it was fine, but asked if he could contact the driver to see how far away he was. He was then derailing and telling me to be patient, even though the order was 15 minutes late. I waited an extra 15 minutes, then called, and they told me again that the order was on the way. This time they said another 10 minutes. I waited, then called 10 minutes later, and the man on the phone started shouting and telling me it wasn't his fault. Not even one apology. Not even at least in passing. He did not once ask me for my address to see specifically what was happening with my order, and was disinterested in anything I had to say. Again, no apology, just him telling me it's not his or the restaurant's fault. Very clear they've been using taxis to deliver food. They hold deliveries until they've a batch and then send them out at the same time. When our food arrived, it was poorly cooked, squashed, and cold. The person on the phone also told me he couldn't understand my English accent. Lmao. Don't order from this restaurant. Poor service, and even worse attitude when confronted or questioned about it. Disinterested, rude and unprofessional. Their Just Eat reviews are appalling. Comments upon comments about undercooked food and 2-3 hour waiting times. Steer clear

Mi pareja fuimos a recoger nuestro pedido hoy mismo de la Mansión de pescado, cuando llegó a casa le apestaba totalmente de cigarrillos y todo el embalaje que nuestra comida.

Este lugar solía ser muy bueno hace unos años ... lo que pasó?????? El aspecto de caras viaje mísero trabajando allí le pone!! Las patatas fritas son a menudo frío ... la maltratada salchichas tienen un sabor extraño para ellos, tal vez porque he sido sábado en el plato caliente todo el día!! A menudo he tenido la rara Doner kebab aquí y mis tripas han desempeñado estragos al día siguiente. Es muy decepcionante para ver esta "fish and chips" bajando la colina.

Nos trasladamos a la zona y nos fuimos a la primera Chippie que encontramos, qué error. Tanto los Scampi fue quemada y frío mientras que también siendo mucosa. Las patatas fritas eran tibio. El servicio era que fueron formados por el glacial lento. Había un espectáculo de lado en la forma de un borracho local insistía en que él no conseguir el cambio suficiente y necesitaba el dinero para ir al lado para conseguir otra pack de seis de las latas. En pidiendo a la gente de la zona acerca de este lugar, nos dijeron que en términos muy claros lo malo que es este lugar es y a dónde ir en su lugar.

Por dónde empezar. I en primer lugar precisar que soy alérgico al queso; a 15 minutos después del tiempo de entrega mi pizza llegó- con queso. El conductor no creo que yo y me hizo mostrarle la nota que la izquierda, obviamente. Luego llegó 30 minutos más tarde, una hora y media después de colocar mi pedido, con apenas ninguno por encima teniendo en cuenta que era un doble el maíz, cebolla y doble pizza de pollo. Me dijeron que el conductor le informe sobre mis quejas- las coberturas y que el pan de ajo era simplemente pan y la salsa de ajo como crema. Me dijo que no se podía hacer nada. Cuando comencé mi pizza me di cuenta de que en una porción de pizza apenas me había ninguna coberturas y podría volver a gusto pan. La tienda para quejarse, " ¿a todo el mundo? Si uno para conseguir una pizza sin queso en." "coberturas decrecer en el horno." "nunca hemos hecho antes, así que tienes que aceptar, si no fue perfecto." "Tenemos volver los clientes así que claramente tienen un buen negocio, no hay nada de malo en ello y no estoy aceptando su queja" y luego colgó. rudo maleducado hombre desagradable que hablaba a mí, efectivamente me hizo sentir raro para ser alérgico a los quesos y me acusó de una queja, así que pude conseguir una pizza gratis. Pizza era simplemente pan con una piscina de salsa barbacoa en la parte de arriba y el servicio era pésimo.

Should you wish to loose pounds to your pocket and your weight then please delight in having a delivery from this takeaway. The chips were cold and tasted of soil, the sauage my cat will not eat and the aftertaste meant your throw up for your trouble. That was a side order (effect) that I didnt remember ordering. The response from the owner, I will give you a free bottle of soda off the next order... My response which order would that be? If there was a minus review button if may have been overworked for this place of business.
