Just like mince soup gone down drain.used to be ok.not again

Of all the many places I have eaten from in my life, Mangosteen is one of the best. Their curries have the subtlety and spice that many other places lack, all given in generous portions. Delivery times may be slow, but are much faster if you order prior to opening. From my non-vegetarian parents' claims, the mixed vegetable options are better than the meat ones. The best dish is the Fiery, though It's not for the faint of heart or weak of GI tract. All the chef's specials are very good.

Forgot to sens the can of drink and I ordered the cheese nann but got regular nann. They did drop the drink off 30 minutes after they sent my order but u didn't realise the nann wasn't cheese until I started eating.

Last order was a prawn dish, they were rotten

Great food, service, and value. My first order from here, and I am highly delighted. I ordered online to take advantage of the 20% online discount when ordering over £20. I had seekh kebabs, lamb chops, and a chicken tikka karahi with chapattis. The seekh kebabs were very nice, with fried onions. The lamb chops were tender, perfectly cooked (pink, not bloody), and beautifully spiced. The karahi was also spiced right and very tasty, and the chapattis were large and fresh. Simply delightful and authentic cuisine.

Don’t mind paying decent money for decent food !!! Food ok but always COLD even on a Monday Night . I don’t want to have to heat a meal up in the microwave once delivered !!!

Chapatis were as thick as Naans. Not pleasant.

We ordered from here for the first time and were not let down in the slightest! What absolutely mouth watering food! We ordered the korma (so creamy and coconutty!), South Indian garlic and chilli special (deliciously spicy, and the chicken so beautifully cooked, very tender and succulent), garlic naan, peshawari naan (the best I've had and I've tried many in my life!). Every one of their dishes were beautifully executed! They were so flavoursome and authentically aromatic. Absolutely recommend this place!

Absolutely fantastic. The food is consistent and great. Delivery is on time if not early. The staff are great and willing to go out of their way for you. Also cheaper if you use their own app instead of just eat. Highly recommended. 15-12-22 Just had yet another meal from here. Honestly, still one of the best takeaways I've ever used. Multiple times I've ordered from here. Nice curry but they charge extra for chapattis that 8 times out of 10 you you don't get. Don't bother paying for extras cos you're wasting your money.

Been meaning to try for a while so I gave this place a try, I ordered a chicken balti was very delicious, quick delivery service, food was piping hot, at first I thought a bit pricey but the portion was large, well worth every penny, definitely be back, thanks guys 😊

Totally understand prices rises, but , 5 pieces of chicken in watery sauce and thin chapathi like , half size garlic naan. Not impressed. This was my weekly treat ( admittedly monthly treat now) which I totally understand. But Mangosteen, do one or the other. Cut portion size or increase prices. PLEASE, don’t do both.

The best take away curry I've had in years

First impressions last they say. Well my say is... not so appetising. The food was below standards, very dry seekh kebabs (over cooked). Chips were soggy and I could taste the oil as though it was old. Missing items and over 1 hour waiting time. It felt as though I ordered something out of the 80's. I could go on but I will leave it at that, won't be ordering from here again.

Found this place when our local curry house closed, and we are so glad to have found it! Amazing curries, not had a bad meal from here. Recommended it to all our friends!

Best takeaway out there at min quality food too

First visit for a takeaway, polite staff, prompt service. Ordered the Lamb Nilgiri Masala & chapatis, delicious, but for some reason my bill was rounded up to the next whole pound, disappointed at that & not appreciated. Won't go again.

I've had Mangosteen twice now and both times it has been excellent! Food was early and extremely tasty both times. The guys who work there are polite too. I would strongly recommend the lamb nilgiri masala.. This is Hands down one of the best curries I've ever had, and I've had many!!

We order from Mangosteen regularly and it's always spot on! Tonight one thing was missed from the order but within 10 minutes of calling them to let them know a very polite and apologetic gent delivered the missing item along with some extras as a gesture of good will. Amazing service, amazing food, we can't recommend Mangosteen enough!

Restaurant quality food, loved the curries everything was fresh, just a shame the portion sizes of the containers was small to say we spent a small fortune. It will have to be a treat once a year but apart from that will definitely order again at some point, highly recommend if you are a bit flush haha.

Have ordered many times from Mangosteen but was very disappointed last night. We ordered for a family of 4. After waiting an hour and twenty mins for delivery we rang and were told another 30 mins. We decided to go and collect. Food items missing from our order were the chapatis, pilau rice, onion bhajis and Rubicon. By now it was 9pm and the last thing anyone wanted to do was trail out again to collect them so we made do. Couldn't even be bothered to ring and complain as we were all a bit hangry by now. The food we did receive was luke warm and average.

Best curry by a mile. I Was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. Food was amazing and so fresh! Will be getting my curries from here from now on.

Took over two hours to deliver and only live 5mins away!

I would give a 5 as I really enjoyed it. Great vegetarian options, a bit different from the usual stuff. Sadly my husband hates coconut in curry and his go to curry is Chicken Tikka Masala, which had coconut in.

One of the best curries i have ever had

Absolutely delicious. Not you’re average takeaway and not your average takeaway food. The guys who work there are really friendly too. The only problem is I live two minutes away and have to ration myself otherwise I would be ordering all the time!!!! Can’t recommend highly enough.

We were really looking forward to the curry after seeing the great review. Very disappointed. Very average, overly oily food. 1hr 45mins to arrive. They missed a dish from the delivery (to be fair they delivered shortly after) Chicken tikka very poor and tasteless. Whilst they offered token apology they didn't seem overly concerned about the problems. Definitely not using again
