Amazing place and very welcoming I definitely recommend a visit truly magical.

Terrible service, before I was allowed to enter with sweatpants, then I went home to change because I wasn't feeling well, they stopped me and wouldn't let me in anymore, pure prejudice

It was exactly at night, I had just gone out to eat, but we found the place attractive and went in, but as I wasn't feeling well with the clothes I was wearing, which were similar to pajamas, I went home to change, when I came back he blocked me, so why didn't he block me before I think it was a lack of attention, then when I was dressed exactly for the environment I couldn't enter and I just spent money for nothing, terrible service, where they didn't pay attention to the fact that I was wearing a sweatshirt before and after When I was ready, they didn't let me in and they didn't even bother.

Didn't have food but what a fascinating place. Friendly, attentive guy behind the bar, friendly chap who showed us around! Worth a visit

Can't believe we have only just discovered this place, it was absolutely lovely. We had a couple of drinks in the bar, lovely warm welcome and a tip to get pizza from the place next door and bring it back in. Will return next time we've got tickets for the theatre!

What a beautiful complex!! It's like a different part of the country, alot better than Bradford itself.

When I needed help to plan my sisters Hen Night the team at sunbridge wells were excellent. Never would I of thought to have an event there but there was everything all in one place. We enjoyed every single minute 💃🏼They cater for all budgets and although all staff were amazing Harry was fantastic - kept the drinks topped up and made sure everyone was ok. For anyone looking for the same I would 100% recommend and certainly be going again ourselves in the future. Thank you 😀

Getting searched to go for a pizza in the place. Clearly a dangerous place. On the way out the door staff are more interested in watching stuff loudly on their phones than opening doors for customers.

Held a birthday event in "The Bunker" at Wallers Brewery last weekend. The manager, James, and all the staff were incredibly helpful and made the night special for everyone. They even went and got birthday candles from the nearest shop for the cake (which had been forgotten). Can't reccomend enough, thanks guys 👌

Just had a Mother’s Day bottomless brunch and had the best time. Service and food fabulous and Jay the owner was so welcoming. Will definitely be going back xx

Beautiful and unique space in the heart of Bradford City centre - a bit difficult to find so better signposting would be good but it adds to its mystery and charm.

Basically a bar for drinks . Every time I go in it's just the bar open all the stalls are closed and no sign of food or if there is a mystery pizza place must have some strange opening days and hours . Two stars basically just because it's like a really small museum or eye candy very small and not much else.

What a fantastic pub . Called in with the wife a couple of years back and was well impressed . Then a few weeks later I took a group of work mates there whilst on a boozy train trip from Huddersfield . None of them had even heard about it , and all liked . Will be calling again in a few months time on another train trip out .

Visited Sunbridgewells November time 2023 with husband. Quirky looking place inside with eating and drinking establishments, also shops. We called in on a Monday and no shops were open or restaurants. We noticed a bar was open on first floor, so we had a couple of drinks in there. Bartender said the Pizza restaurant would be open Wednesday, but all of the shops would be open on Saturday & Sunday. We wanted to look around the place in the week to avoid the weekend crowds which we couldn't do, thought everything would be open. We walked around upstairs past the closed shops, they looked interesting..shame they were all closed, overall a disappointing experience.

It was a Friday evening and pretty quite. But the staff where lovely, cocktails 2 for a tenner which is always a plus.

well worth a visit or two -its behind the wetherspoons was a bit quiet last time i went but it was 6.30 pm ish

I recently visited the upper level night club and was quite disappointed with my encounter with the doorman. While I understand that doormen have a challenging job in managing access to the club, my experience was far from pleasant. Unfortunately, the doorman came across as unfriendly and unprofessional. There was a noticeable lack of courtesy and respect in the way I, and others, were treated. It's essential for a doorman to ensure the safety and security of the club, but it's equally important to do so while treating patrons with respect and dignity. My discomfort was exacerbated by what seemed like a lack of consistency in the doorman's decision-making process. Some individuals were allowed entry with ease, while others faced undue obstacles. This inconsistency added to the frustration and confusion. Furthermore, I was disappointed by what appeared to be a lack of willingness to address issues raised by clubgoers. Effective communication and conflict resolution skills are essential in this role, and it seemed lacking in this particular instance. In conclusion, my experience with the doorman at [the upper lever night club] left me feeling unwelcome and disappointed. I hope that the club management can take steps to ensure a more positive and respectful experience for all patrons in the future.

Great atmosphere and amazing staff...its a pub crawl all in one place

Unfortunately the time I went there it was quiet, so atmosphere etc was not great, it's an amazing place to visit but the music in the bars is too loud

It's had a bit of a revamp recently. If you haven't been before it is worth a visit for the quirkiness of the experience. Service is good, drinks are a little more expensive than most places in town

A few places shut, pizza place rammed, couldn't get in so went elsewhere, the short walk from the taxi to the entrance was awful, people drugged up, and people loitering, looking at us, was really uncomfortable, don't go on your own unless you can be dropped at entrance

Haven't been in the place since it first opened when it was packed. The Saturday night I went in recently (June 23), it was dead with many of the former vendors and bars now gone.

Beautiful building in the centre of Bradford.

It's an OK quiet boozer, feels very closed in due to being in tunnels from years ago. A little expensive as they must have huge overheads

Nice old style pub like a big mill with lots of floors to explore. Nice old steam engine and mad scientists laboratory. Nice bar staff and nice patrons.

Rude staff,the gate was open so me and my partner ventured in it was 1.58(it opened at 2pm ),looked me up and down because I was I'm a wheelchair, asked how we got in ,explained the front gate was open and even tho there was 2 people in there we got told to go bk to the gate and wait all for the sake of 2 minutes bare in mind it was raining outside and cold ,I told her I didn't like her attitude and appreciate that there was 2 minutes before opening but she could have handled it alot better ,her attitude could have been alot better considering she works with the public ,I didn't see the problem with us waiting in the corridor when other clearly were and never got told to go bk for the sake of 2 minutes,never will I grace them with my custom ,and they boast its wheelchair friendly when it is not the cobbles are too much and the staff attitude stink ,I leave reviews everywhere I go and never have I been somewhere I felt so belittled by a woman half my age ! I would recommend giving it a wide berth unless you want speaking to like your dirt

Been in recently and they do large bottles of bangla and kingfisher lager,plus guinness decent too.all in wallers brewery.

Top night out.. Good selection of bars. Some a little pricey, but over all, worth it for the atmosphere..

This place is absolutely awesome all kinds of amenities to choose from a great stone baked pizza place to a nice chilled out pub with a creepy dungeon vibe.

Nice setting that was quite a different and unusual set up. Wide variety of food choices. It is a bit of a "back alley" approach but definitely worth a visit.

Long time since I'd come over to Bradford from Leeds. What a hidden (well to me!) gem.

Sunbridgewells impressed as an atmospheric city centre place to eat and drink. It was welcoming and had a handful of venues under one roof. The history of this location encompasses use during the middle ages to hosting an underground club during the 1960s.

Looking for a pub that wasn't a Wetherspoons. This place was ok, seating and space quite cramped. Reasonable range of beer. Slow service with one barman.

OMG! What can I say?? It was Amazing! The Jerk chicken and Mango salad is to die for! Partner had 1/2 Jerk chicken with coleslaw and was really impressed!. Definitely be a regular here. Thank you so much 😊

Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here at the weekend. Didn't even know it existed! Looking forward to making this a regular haunt for our weekend nights out.

We went on a Saturday afternoon before a football match. Staff were friendly, beer was adequate & good value. We ordered pizza from the pizzeria next door who brought it to our table in the bar next door. The pizza was very good! I suspect it’s much livelier of an evening than early doors Saturday lunchtime. A lot of places we’re still settling up. I’ll come back!

Complex but interesting place with a history: different bars and other businesses, the underground parts built in an old quarrying mine, and having been reclaimed and rebuilt in a fresh modern way having fallen into disuse after its use as a club in the 60s.

Unique building with underground tunnel style interior that connects to other nearby pubs. Friendly staff and good selection of drinks, well worth a visit.

The pizza restaurant was great. Fresh food served hot enough to make lava look like a coolant, and a fast yet attentive service. Every member of staff was a delight to speak with. Very friendly. Perfect for if you have 40 mins or so before a theatre show starts. Note that you may need to book as it's a small and cozy place with only a handful of tables.

Love this venue. WiFi needs sorting but that about it, it is such a cool place.

This place is a really peaceful relaxed and chilled out place until weekends haha but seriously the coffee booth is amazing and does gorgeous drinks then there is a cute little bath bomb shop that smells beautiful and does good AND cheap bath bombs (which are always nice to relax with) then there is wallers bar and koko Bay and la cavanar pizzeria and the people who work in all these places are really kind you can sit and talk to them and get along with them really well

I have been a couple of times and it is always a bit dead - only one of the three bars was open on a Thursday night.

Nice place to go with friends, especially in summer is nice cold.

I like it. Staff very friendly only thing is music it's too loud you barely can speak with your partner (colleges) but in general it's really good have a lot history, prepared for not having cell phone signal because is underground the pubs and bar but as I said in general I like it nice place for Friday night.

Interesting place to visit with subterranean bars and eateries. Found Saturday night a bit noisy in that it was difficult to have a conversation with my friend. Would definitely return, but perhaps in the daytime, when I suspect it would quieter.

I absolutely loved the place, there’s so many varieties here… loved the Italian pizza, it’s authentic 🍕🍕and the local Latina bar, Simon, the host was amazing to make all sorts of cocktails from Loca Latina (there authentic sweet gin) to malibu, fireball shot( it’s amazing)I’d love the margarita pizza to top it all, and of course very hospitable hosts 🥰🥰 You must definitely give this a shot ❤️❤️❤️

The atmosphere is incredible in this bar, with the walls giving a proper feel of being underground! When I used the toilets they had been kept very clean, identifiable by a clear sign. The bar was epic to eat and drink in, having a tunnel shaped ceiling and lights overhead as well as at the feet level! It was comfortable to sit down and my flavoursome drink was served quickly, followed by a true Italian pizza that was delicious.
