Very friendly staff. Good fresh food..

What a wonderful restaurant we stumbled appon the food was delicious & so fesh, atmosphere was lovely & the staff are so lovely & helpful. We had the pizzas, pastas & mussels. The food was so fresh & tasty. Also the desert table was a lovely surprise & so yummy. Definitely going again & would recommend 100%. Wish I took photos of the food as I would of definitely posted them up. Also I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable priced the food was.

Celebrated my daughters birthday here, as always the food is amazing. We were a party of 17 and not one issue with food. Everything came out on time, the service is second to none. There was always someone around to help if we needed anything. We've been coming here for years and will not stop. This is an establishment that needs to stay. Continue to support everyone.

My 6 year old had a pizza making party. I honestly cannot fault the guys in any way. All the children had an amazing time. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. With really reasonable pricing. The pizzas were absolutely delicious as well. Thank you!

I came here Sunday with my family to celebrate my 40th and I cannot fault the place. From the moment we walked in (earlier than booked) we were made to feel so welcome. Food was amazing! We had a birthday set menu created for us with plenty of choice for everyone. Food came out all together and absolutely delicious! The baby menu was more than enough for the little ones with the cutest bunny ears on the pizza and no complaints from the adults (apart from wanting more). Can I also add that the cocktails were also amazing! Highly recommend the amaretto sour and porn star martini! Thank you so much for having us. Look forward to coming back and trying your other dishes x

Lovely atmosphere. We often go for a coffee and pastry in the morning. Evening meal was a big success. Everybody enjoyed. Even the banofee is homemade

Had a NYE meal which was deliciously tasty. Service and atmosphere was great been to Mangiamo a few times and always been impressed by the quality of the decor greating a luxury feel environment. Would have given 5 stars for food just that our meal wasn't as hot as it could have been but have always enjoyed Mangiamos food. Would thoroughly recommend it x

We ate here last night pre-show, at the assembly rooms and it was perfect. A lovely warm welcome, excellent ambience and the food was delicious. Normally I moan about service charges, but I was happy to pay for 1st class service. Many thanks!!

12 of us dined at Mangiamo for our staff Christmas lunch. The service was very good. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was very tasty and we would visit again. The décor in the restaurant is very clean, fresh and classy. All in all a big recommend from us - a good Italian restaurant to visit in Worthing town!

Had a lovely night meeting with my Grandparent's here which they had recommended from their past experiences. All the food was amazing, Seriously enjoyed the Lasagne and the Halloumi / Tiramisu me and partner shared also brilliant 👏 Customer Service was also top notch, real conversation, real people... We will be back, thank you 😎

Tasty food, decent portions, nice atmosphere, fantastic service, very friendly, humorous, helpful and upbeat. Empty dishes were taken away promptly, and our additional requests (for things such as doggy bag to take leftover food home, and for extra side plates) were fulfilled without being made to feel awkward. We were given new cutlery and napkins after each course, which is something that is always lacking at other restaurants (oddly). I was very pleased I didn't have to especially request any for once. There was festive music playing, and the window art was fun to look at (12 days of christmas theme, trying to spot everything for each day!)

Food was below average, waiter clearly didn’t not who he was doing apart from prancing around the place. Atmosphere was dead as there was no music and when music was suggested the waiter started bouncing around the place. Then the waiter was staring at us until the service charge was paid which quite frankly definitely did not need to be on there Honestly there are so many better Italian restaurants in Worthing such as ask Italian which is better on literally everything

Have been coming here for many years and have always had a good experience. It's a great space, the food is consistently good and the staff are lovely.

So we (a table of 9) book to go here tonight at 7:30 thinking that the set menu would be available as there was nothing online about it being unavailable, but we had to order off of the main menu. There was about 2 other tables In (Which is expected on a Monday night) but there was no music to set any kind of tone for the restaurant what so ever. We then ordered and I asked what salad it was, which I was met with, I bought this earlier it is a mixed leaf salad (I’ll come back to this later) which I said ok. We order our drinks to which the only front of house staff had to keep checking what they had. We ordered our starters and mains, which we also asked if there could be some music to be put on otherwise it felt like we were talking loudly and didn’t want to disturb anyone else dining. Our starters arrive in drips and drabs, I ordered the start of halloumi which I then found out what he meant by I bought this earlier, it was quite literally a Tesco bought salad mix. We eat these and get our plates cleared. When our main courses come out (again in drips and drabs) and I had the sauteed chicken to which my rice looked like microwave rice, the chicken looked like a curry, again with the Tesco mixed leaf salad. Just overall rubbish main. My partner had chicken tagliatelle with spinach which I kid you not, looks like Tesco bought pasta and sauce with the mixed salad added in. It was warm. Now… comes to when we have to pay the bill, we all agreed that we would pay part of the service charge (£25 which was already pre added, but we were a table of 9) we each pay our parts to which the waiter stand and stares at us like there is still £25 left to pay which my friend then had to pay it all (we are sending her the money). In all a terrible experience and definitely wouldn’t recommend eating here for Italian if they are planning to serve a mixed leaf salad and and pasta bought from Tesco.

First time visit. We all enjoyed the food and the service. Food was good and it all arrived together. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and hope to return soon.

We visited here for a family celebration for my daughter’s 21st. The restaurant was quiet (it was a Monday) but the service was amazing. I didn’t get the two guys names but they were attentive and fun. The food was great and everyone had a fab time. Special shout out to our waiter….he is a credit to the restaurant

Honestly couldn’t put one complaint towards this place. The food was amazing and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. As soon as you sat down you just felt chilled and relaxed. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking to have some good food and a place to have a laugh with friends/family.

Ate here with my daughter on Saturday 2nd November before the cinema. Service and food was excellent. We both had the lamb and chicken bbq specials and were not disappointed. Have no hesitation in recommending it to friends. Although I only gave it 3 stars for atmosphere, this is only because we ate very early in the evening and it was almost empty. I’m sure this would not apply later in the evening.

We visited for a birthday lunch and had a great time. We were offered a choice of tables and several menu options include a set price lunchmenu and a kids menu, both offering excellent value for money. Sabrina and her team were the most attentive and helpful hosts with our booking last night. We had arranged for a private space to host a hen party, including entertainment and Manginamo were nothing but amazing! I have been in contact with Sabrina to arrange all the tiny details for weeks, and helped prepare a set 3 course meal with tasty cocktails!! We emailed menus/ wine choices and I literally have nothing negative to say about Sabrina what a star!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ She helped us set up early in the day for the event and gave us little extras such as nibbles on the table free of charge! If you have to make a big booking I would recommend 100% them!

Was struggling to find a table at the restaurants we fancied going to so after a short walk, we found this place. It was quiet, plenty of free tables and we knew nothing about this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised. The garlic bread starter, calzone and sautéed lamb were all really tasty. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. Would recommend this place 😊

Great food, but always a bit slow service

I hardly do reviews, whether positive or negative, but I was unfortunately having to do it. Leaving aside the fact that both my wife and I found a hair in the food (it can happen) but it was the quality of the raw materials that left me speechless, the choice of quality materials should be the basis of catering but probably here they did not understand it, results? I spent a night with a stomach ache and vomiting! I had high expectations for this venue but... I don't think I'll come back. You're right, I hardly leave reviews and above all I hardly leave negative reviews so if this time it happened it's precisely because I find what happened unacceptable! I don't know if you are the owner of this business or simply a collaborator that I am not interested in because, as I have already said, he will not return to your restaurant. If the reviews were based on arrogance and presumption, I would give you even more than 5 stars! The same effort you put into responding to reviews next time try to put it into your work, chances are reviews like mine won't come anymore. Cleanliness, friendliness and quality are the basis not only of catering, but of any other work activity... You're missing three out of three! Instead of asking myself who I am, if I'm true or if I'm fake, instead of asking myself questions, try asking yourself a few! Sabrina you said that's your name, I'm Claudio, and of course hydra is a nickname and anyone with a little bit intelligence would have understood it... But unfortunately or fortunately not everyone has it! Have a good day

Had an excellent meal at Mangiamo this evening. The food and drink were very good and authentic Italian. The staff were friendly and helpful. I tend to judge a place by thinking 'would I go again?' and I would definitely go again to Mangiamo.

We have been coming here for the past 2 years and have always enjoyed it. Staff are very welcoming and attentive. Authentic Italian food, quality and quantity 👌 the restaurant itself is comfortable and contemporary, which makes for a nice dining experience. Will be back again soon!

I first came here on my birthday in December and was blown away by the friendliness of the staff, the quality of food and the prices! We’ve been back every month since, it’s brilliant for big tables or an intimate dinner of 2, I just love it. They make a big effort if it’s someone’s birthday and considering when we came last night we must of been quite loud (apologies!) but they were so cool with us and had great banter. So relaxed! Considering the big portion sizes and yummy food, I’m surprised how cheap it is as well. Definitely my favourite Italian in worthing at the moment. Thanks guys we’ll see you next month!

Lovely place, staff are great, food is delicious, and I would definitely recommend a visit.

Very disappointed by our visit. The staff were nice but the food wasn't. When my wife queried why her salad was so bare they said their delivery hadn't arrived. It might have been better to suggest she doesn't order a halloumi salad when they didn't have any halloumi or other bits specified on the menu. It might also explain why my pizza looked so bare.

The food is great value, and you get really good portion sizes for the money. The salmon was cooked to perfection, I think I probably should have swapped my rice for something else as it was a bit dry and boring, but the chilli oil helped 😊 The service was good, and the atmosphere was great. My daughter also loved her pizza. We will definitely be back!!

Rang late morning as we were let down by another restaurant. They happily accommodated 11 of us at very short notice. The value and quality of the food was very good. Service was efficient and friendly. Everyone was very happy. We plan to return as a group for a pre-show dinner.

My food was really nice, didn't realise that it was going to be as spicy as it was, but I was here for it. The waitress was really nice and approachable. If anyone had any problems then it would be solved straight away. It was a Friday night, so was quite busy, but was also quite nice as the music was loud. Would definitely recommend for people that are visiting worthing or just want a nice meal out.

Had a pizza, good size for the price, and tasted lovely. Staff were nice, and pleasant, with the chef shaping, the kid who was with us pizza into a bunny.

A group of fifteen visited here last Saturday. 12.08.23 They sat us at the large seated back area, lovely large light space. A nice friendly welcome, and not in a false way. We all ordered, drinks served quick. Food arrived hot, and all at the same time. Which was fantastic for a large group. I had the meatballs, great starter. Penne pasta for main. Had a selection of desserts, all great. We all had varied starters, mains, not one complaint. Would highly recommend. Great food. Great value. Lovely friendly staff. Great decor. Would use again.

I went to Mangiamo yesterday and had a halloumi salad, delicious. The restaurant is beautiful and the service is great, as is the Efes lager. Highly recommend.

They charge for Parmesan and it’s an Italian restaurant who does that!! The worst thing is when you ask for Parmesan they don’t say how much it costs… Pizzas very bland..

A lovely place to eat with fantastic atmosphere and amazing service! We had calzone and pizza, both delicious! For dessert we ordered benoffie pie, one of the best which I ever had. Not first and last time for me in Mangiamo !

If it’s comfort food you’re after, this is the place to go! The pasta is cooked fresh to order and the portion sizes are very giving! Love the fact it’s local to me! Celebrated my 35th birthday here with family and friends! X

We had a wonderful night for our daughters 21st We had a large group and from the moment I first made contact the staff could not be more helpful. On the night the food was beautiful and the staff were again brilliant. A great night was had by everyone especially our daughter.
