The owner was extremely rude and told me and my friends to f**k off over nothing. I spoke to the shop owners down the strip and they all said that he is a c**t, most of them haven’t spoke to him in years cos of how rude and disrespectful he is

Primera experiencia de esta pequeña pero bien pensada cadena. Escaparate agradable y acogedor. Parece una casa / restaurante de kebab. Simplemente entré después de practicar deportes y mientras esperaba un tren de la estación cercana. Entré, pensando que tal vez compraría una pizza, pero por lo que podía ver y oler, inmediatamente decidí comer un kebab y me decidí por un doner de cordero. Servido por un amable hombre mayor que me preguntó si quería ensalada o arroz y estaba feliz de dejarme ambos. Se dio cuenta de que estaba hambriento y me ofreció arroz en un servicio de plástico mientras se cocinaba el kebab. No tuve que elegir entre arroz blanco o integral, me dio una buena ración de ambos, junto con un poco de chile y también salsas de ajo. Además de eso, y por separado, también había abundante pan (? Turco) para acompañar el cordero perfectamente cocinado. Un precio muy bueno más que justo. Más comida de la que necesitaba a pesar de mi apetito y hambre. Muy amable, complaciente y generoso. Si vuelvo a estar en esta zona, probablemente me desviaría un poco de mi camino para volver. Muy feliz de recomendar sinceramente este lugar.

Después de 2 horas y media de espera, nos dijeron que recién estaban comenzando a cocinar nuestra comida. La forma en que se organiza el lugar, se puede ver directamente en la cocina, y claramente aún no habían comenzado, se podía ver la carne cruda descongelando en una bandeja (al lado del pan que estaban sirviendo a los clientes). Se quedó sin comer, solo bebió su cerveza a temperatura ambiente. No confiaría en la calidad de la comida. Evitar.

Esto fue sólo una comida para mí y mi hijo. Todo estaba bien, comida, servicio y precio. Está ubicado cerca de la estación de Grove Park y en las rutas de autobuses, así que es fácil de encontrar escondido con otros negocios en la carretera principal. El aparcamiento suele ser fácil.

A restaurant I have been visiting for many years, the definition of hidden gem! Every single thing about this restaurant is just perfect. A place you can go with your partner, family, or friends, you will find nothing to complain about. Mrs H and I have been to a number of Turkish restaurants all across London, and tbh I am quite tired of the cuisine, however, this is the only Turkish restaurant I will willingly go to. I personally think it is amongst the best Turkish food I have ever tasted - even in comparison to the high end restaurants with meals costing twice as much. A special place of mine as my closest friend showed me a few years ago, this spot truly deserves more recognition and credit. Service: 10/10 A husband and wife team - with help from their daughters during busy periods - nothing more you could want from the service here. Always make you feel welcome and always cater to whatever you want. Great down to earth friendly people who I wish nothing but the best for. Atmosphere 10/10: always relatively quiet whenever I have visited. Nice decor, cool ambience, nothing more to add. Food: 10/10: this is really where it shines. I am no stranger to Turkish food as it is Mrs H favourite cuisine, but I will choose this little family owned restaurant over top end expensive Turkish restaurants anywhere else in London. The hummus starter is one of my favourite items on their menu, served with unlimited soft freshly baked bread, this really sets the standard and expectations for what the mains are like. Being a regular - I often ask for my food to be a little more on the spicy side - and they deliver. Chef will happily cook it with a few additional spices and flavours to your taste. The wings are probably my fave mains, alongside the beyti. If you have taken the time to read this - just head there now and you won’t be disappointed.
