Fantastic food great service ……..beware the payment method which was only mentioned at the presentation of the bill(we called ahead to book a table and on arrival no mention of cash only) so had to pay by bacs to waiting staff gave me the sad take of broken machines and banking issues blah blah I wasn’t having any of that nonsense and stopped the pantomime and paid by bacs and left the money had left my account it’s up to them to check their balance

Went here early doors as they allow dogs at 5pm. Started off with ‘gin bramble’ cocktails then a selection of tapas including fillet steak, goats cheese, king prawns and Tartiflette. Finished with a pecan pie to die for. The waiting staff were amazing especially a younger girl with long dark hair, so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Not the cheapest but absolutely worth it!

Not your usual tapas, more like the owner couldn’t decide what kind of restaurant to open so gave us their greatest hits instead. All food is freshly cooked and well presented, staff advised well by recommending two main dishes which left room for fruit crumble and custard afterwards. Plenty for veggies, vegans may need to order in advance. CASH ONLY - owners advise not taking card payments makes them an extra £400 a month. A hidden gem among the more traditional fare on offer in Bridlington.

Been twice in two weeks with different sets of people and everyone commented on the excellent food. Nice selection of food including vegetarian. Personal favourite was the steak which was cooked to perfection. Staff and service top notch and the cocktail I had was great too. I would recommend going probably the best in Bridlington.

From the friendly greeting as soon as we walked through the door we knew this place was just right. Decorated in a simple bistro style the atmosphere felt great. We kicked off with a couple of cocktails, which were so tasty, and picked five tapas plates from the very tempting menu, ordering two to come first, as suggested. Every dish was superb, with a special mention for the tempura vegetables and the arancini. I have been eating tapes for over 30 years and this place really is good. A must visit if you’re anywhere near.

Visited for Sunday lunch recently. We have been on many occasions for both lunch and evening dining, together and with friends, and once before for the Sunday lunch. The way they serve the Sunday lunch is a fabulous idea and gives you the ideal opportunity to share. The food is delicious and excellent value for money, due to the quality and presentation. The staff are accommodating and friendly and nothing seems too much trouble (served my coffee in a smaller cup when asked). Left feeling very satisfied (especially after the amazing banoffee cheesecake). Well done Manchot, we will definitely be returning.

Me and my husband had a wonderful evening here for the first time. The food was superb, we tried a number of dishes, and puddings. The cocktails are some of the best, especially in Brid, and a great coffee to finish with! Lovely friendly staff who make you feel more than welcome and explain the menu really well. The setting is great too. It was a cold snowy evening but it was lovely and warm inside. We will definitely be returning soon to Tey out the lunch menu.

The food here is absolutely amazing. I love the tapas style food, so you're not over faced with massive portions. The Sunday lunch is simply divine - just a shame that they don't do it all year round. But I guess it gives us something to look forward to over Winter.

Absolutely perfect. We finally visited Manchot for a family occasion and it was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. The waiting staff and kitchen should be proud of the service and amazing food they are putting out. I came out feeling really satisfied and happy. The atmosphere is lovely, and the food is perfection... also the cocktails are a must try! Thank you so much.

Absolutely delicious food, very fresh and tasty and really well priced. It's only a small place and the food is cooked to order so a little slower than some places but perfect for a leisurely breakfast. Staff were super friendly. Worth knowing it cash or bank transfer only. Would 100% return. Thank you.

Another visit exceeding expectations. The ladies here really have made a special place. Been coming for around 2 years years, we dropped in I think shortly after opening, and every visit since has been consistently perfect. The food is simply stunning, the service is superb and the atmosphere is absolutely lovely. A nice cosy rustic vintage feel to cuddle you as you waste an afternoon here with a bottle of prosecco and a stunningly delicious tapas style Sunday lunch. Cannot wait to return. (good job we aren't local otherwise we would be the size of houses!!)

Having read the past reviews we decided to try Manchot during our short stay near Bridlington. We were not disappointed. From the moment I booked a table over the phone the welcome was first class. Emma explained the menu and suggested we select 2 choices each and if we wished to add more we could .Perhaps to have one each as a starter and then go from there . This was something we had not been offered in our local Tapas back home and something which we found very helpful. The food was excellent , well presented and full of flavour. We did share our meals though I did order another portion of Arancini as I had enjoyed it so much . The deserts were also of a high standard. This is definitely somewhere we will return to when we next have a few days in the area. Emma and Nicole have created a really lovely restaurant and I would highly recommend it .

Just had the Sunday lunch tapas. To all you people who have kept this secret gem to yourselves. Shame on you! That was the best Sunday lunch ever. Every side, the gravy, the beef…. The whole nine yards, was off the scale tasty and flavoursome. We are blown away. Forget the Tomahawk in Beverley, forget the Farrier in Cayton, forget them all. No.35 in Brid. Rubbish. No.1. As locals this was our first visit and it’s great to find another great restaurant around here as they have been lacking in recent years. We like our Spanish Tapas but we knew this was going to different. The staff explained this to us and we played it safe having just two dishes each plus a dessert. I’ll probably add another plate next time. I have to admit there were a few items we had never had before but there wasn’t a crumb left on any plate. Delicious and cooked perfectly. Can’t wait to return.
