Man Lung in Bury

Really gone downhill since the last time I went. Even the prawn crackers were soft. Ordered set menu D food very dry only thing we finished was the rice Will not be using them again.

Not as good as used to be.. I have been going here for years I beleive the mother handed the business to her children and I always order chicken fried rice I had about 3 peas in the dish my partner always has special curry and special fried rice again very limited meat seems they are cutting back, chips were also very undercooked you always just get the excuse of were very busy when you complain. But at 32 pounds for a takeaway you expect better if your that busy either hire more staff or decline orders until you get ontop because your standards have dropped I wasn't impressed with my meal last night at all. May have to look for a new favourite now.

16.2.2023 Review. I have been going to the Man Lung since it was taken over about 12 years ago now, and I can honestly and sincerely say that I have never been disappointed in the food or the service. I will admit that when we have had a couple of problems, they have always been amended promptly. ( Tell me what business doesn't have the odd issue! ). I just hope they don't close because it will take some beating to find a better Chinese chippy. My name is Graham from Merton Street. (A food critic!.)

when I review food businesses I always try to give fair reviews and realise you can't always have great food ,but after several meals bought from here ,I've thrown away more food than I've eaten. Even just standard English food is, in my opinion far below par and now I never buy anything from here.

Lovely food always at a high standard, hot and quick delivery which is great! Always our go to chinese.

Overpriced, unhygienic and below average! The food was cold, and I found a huge hair embedded in the chips. Obviously the whole family threw the food away as to be fair someone’s long hair in the food that isn’t the colour of any of your families hair then it’s not something you want to consume. Absolutely gross

Used this Chinese for over 10 years and always been my go to… last few times it’s been completely rubbish. Stale chips been left in the heat too long, and on the last visit a fish cooked (warmed up in the back). It was hard and rubber like. I will no longer use this Chinese. Not the cheapest and the food has gone awful

This is my Local Chinese Food Take Away. You always get More than you can eat but is competitively Priced so great value.

We ordered tonight as we regularly do from here. The food is good. What a nightmare from the delivery driver!! My son was crying on his birthday as the man demanded £2 even though we had spoken to the owner who said not to pay delivery charge. When we told him this we was swore at at told he was ringing the police! Totally uncalled for and not what you expect when spending over £40 at this takeaway again. The owner of this establishment was even ringing me saying she was on the way to my house to sort her driver out as he was acting totally rude and outrageous. Never go back here and will be recommending to everyone I know to do the same as it’s very popular between friends and family. What a shame

Always use this takeaway and has normally been great but tonight got our order wrong. Then when the right food arrived we were disappointed! Not the same as usual
