My food order wasn’t correct, there was no chicken in the chicken and sweetcorn soup and the salt and pepper ribs it felt like they had run of peppers and onions, hardly any in it

Do NOT order from here. Food arrived cold, chicken balls raw and the curry sauce covered in oil. All food had to be binned to avoid chances of food poisoning!

Some of the food was okay but when i got to the special fried rice… I’ve received a bowl of steaming microwaved rice with dried and chewie chicken and some fried egg mixed in. First time when i ordered online for take away i thought it was just a mistake but now I’m convinced- will not use again

Had dinner here after going to the River Festival. We were seated and given menus, my husband asked for the full menu and gave us one menu between the three of us. Hmm! It was a hot day, so we weren't very hungry. We ordered the spare ribs with honey, crispy Mongolian lamb with pancakes and Chair Shui roast pork with egg fried rice. The food came very quickly. The ribs were nice and the crispy Mongolian lamb, not sure why they had what looked like cooked cabbage underneath. Would suggest warm the plate and put it on, no need for any extra garnish. Service was okay, no conversation or smile from the waitress when bringing drinks or serving food.

Food was shocking. Calamari wasn’t cooked properly needed reheating so never ate it. Crispy chilli beef was just pieces of beef fat deep fried so never ate that and the sweet and sour sauce was SOUR sauce no sweetness in it, tasted like vinegar was vile so that was binned too! Do not order from here, I’m in the process of getting a refund for the items that were inedible!!

Apart from quick delivery, overall the food was very disappointing. Prawn toasts had no prawns in them, very rubbery and tasteless. Chilli beef was very poor, no chilli flavour, just a bowl of bright pink tasteless chewy sticks. Chow mein was okay, chicken and mushroom again tasteless the only thing we really enjoyed was the vegetable spring rolls and quick delivery.

chicken fried rice was stodgy and did not taste nice, expected normal fried rice but this was just white rice with chicken through it. sweet and sour sauce did not taste great either waste of money and definitely won't be back

Fab food, ordered for delivery ASAP. They gave an hour as expected time but arrived within 30 minutes. Very pleased.

The choice of food for banquet was great, all cooked well and was plentiful and delicious. Everything was served quickly and hot. I will be going back and would definitely recommend a visit if you like Chinese food.👍

Three of us went for a meal. Lovely food. Don't go if you are semi hungry. You need an empty belly! Drinks are highly expensive. We spent £16.80 on 4 diet cokes.

Absolutely disgusting food salt and pepper squid was soggy and bland. Rice noodles were cold and not seasoned. Prawn toast had NO PRAWNS just sesame seeds on bread. Sweet and sour pork was bland. And the seaweed tasted burnt. Please do not order from this place terrible food. Will never ever visit again £50 and couldnt finish the meal!!

A mixed bag - rice and beef in black bean was good but crispy chilli beef was all batter and the chow mein lacked flavour and had a very mushy texture. Will not be ordering again.

Delivered on time and hot. Chicken Curry and Chow Mein were delicious. There was an off taste to the Chicken Balls which i discarded, hence only 4 stars.

Not good food at all. Crispy seaweed had been over fried so it was too dark and bitter in taste. Roast duck chow mein noodles are very fine egg noodles and they were dry so not to my liking. Spare ribs in barbecue sauce wasn’t nice either - wasn’t like any Chinese barbecue sauce I’ve had. The chicken Hong Kong style wasn’t saucy, tasted funny and the chicken pieces were so small rather than nice chunky pieces. Had to throw it away. Very disappointed and a total waste of money.

I can't even eat the food, so disappointed. chicken chow mein is with thin noodles, dark meat of chicken- horrid. chicken in yellow bean sauce- again dark and tiny bits of chicken and about 2 cashew nuts! deep fried shredded beef is soft and yucky- just sweetness, without the right texture and nasty flavour. so upset, looked forward to this all week!

Was very disappointed. I ordered bbq spare ribs, they were plain and swimming in a slimy, pale, looked like thick grease liquid; spring rolls, second bite of the first roll the filling was hard and crunched like it was frozen, also tasted like perfume; pork chow mein, no flavour, completely tasteless and dry. Needless to say most of it ended up in the bin

That was the worst Chinese take away that we've ever had. We actually couldn't eat some of the, supposedly Barbecued Ribs, they were so fatty. They were not in a Barbecue sauce, but a runny, weak, fatty gravy sauce! The crispy, shredded beef wasn't crispy & was like eating pure sugar in a pink sauce ! Certainly can't recommend!

Went out for dinner with my wife as a small anniversary gift. The food was okay at best and what I'm assuming was the owner ruined the whole experience. In front of all the customers SHOUTING at his staff? Wasn't interested in what was actually going on and spent the whole time shouting and being rude. Will not be going here again after this experience. I'm shocked someone who clearly belongs in EastEnders is allowed to run a business? The ONLY good thing was the waiting staff who despite being clearly stressed and under pressure from the owner stayed polite and attentive to our table. Will NOT be going here again.

First time visiting Man Do on a social media page recommendation. It didn’t disappoint, tasty and affordable food with attentive friendly staff. You order as much a you like from the menu for around £20pp, plenty of choices on food. Highly recommend.

This is an amazing place with tasty food if you are looking for a date night or for a family dinner with Chinese delicacies. The buffet is great and variety to choose from. We enjoy our lunches and dinner here.

Bland and cheap Chinese rubbish!! Don’t waste your money there. To top it off I even had stomach issues next day. They must be shameless to serve that food to people at Man Do 155 Midland Road in Bedford.

After recently reading the reviews I was shocked as to how many people do not enjoy their time here. I have been returning to this place almost weekly for the past 8 years maybe even before. The portions always defeat us and the employees are extremely accommodating and helpful when it comes to special requests or advice. The all you can eat especially as a large group is insane value for the sheer quantity and although we’ll never truly understand how the starters work we will keep returning here. -Jack

On time and was hot and decent, not the best or worst Chinese, just OK. My preference but I really dislike when small vermicelli noodles are used for chow mein as they are here. Its just not right. Chow mein was a no from us.

very very little egg in rice, chicken balls was stodgy needed cooking more. meal is tasteless, unable to eat this. I needed to reheat, not good as I did order this over an hr before delivered

Rice and Singapore Chow Mein rice noodles were fine, Salt & pepper ribs were awful and would not order the ribs again as very soggy and no taste to them, delivery time was good.

0 stars!! Ordered from the ‘authentic’ menu and was very disappointed. The food quality was generally terrible, not fresh, heavy and strange tasting. None of the dishes were right, even the tea had no flavour. To top it off I had an upset stomach the next day. Don’t waste your time and money here.

Ordered duck and pineapple the duck was very dry and tuff and on sweet and sour hardly any pineapple was chopped and stuffed on top I didn’t even ordered sweet and sour for it ! tasted like rib meat not duck ! Chips were soggy I ordered at 1815 and it was here by half past so I know it wasn’t fresh the bbq sauce didn’t taste right too £39 worth of food and wasn’t the best ! Have to re think next time where to go ! I’ve requested a refund.

Well, this was an order of two different Half's. First the chicken satay, loved it! Having pineapple was a little different but it was good. Then the chicken balls. They were, well undercooked is a nice way of saying it. Ruined the meal.

Lovely fresh food. My only criticism would be that deep fried crab claws need to be added to the menu!

Came here other weekend for a family meal. There is a wide variety of food to choose from and the portions was impressive and so tasty. Service was fast considering it was very busy. Our favourite is the duck so tasty. First time coming to eat in as usually we order a delivery because the food is always great with delivery we decided to come and eat it, this now will be our new regular place to come. Thank you for great evening and food.

Some of the chicken tasted not very fresh. Like it had been reheated. Normally all the food I have ordered here in the past has been great but not so much yesterday.

Got food delivered. They said chicken was halal so I ordered . The chow mein was over flooded with onions. The vegetables chow mein had 1 vegetable in it. A carrot. The veggi spring rolls were onion spring rolls and the sweet chilli chicken had no chicken just dough balls in sauce with pineapples. Very very disappointed and will not be ordering from here again

Starters were sweaty and luke warm. No extra sweet and sour sauce. Smoked chicken was dry.

We were informed of the change of delivery time but it took 1 hour 45minutes from ordering.

Mixed starter - sesame prawn on toast had no prawn paste on it, so it was just fried bread. Wontons was just fried pastry (no filling). The noodles used in vegetable chow mein were vermicelli style thin noodles and not chow mein noodles and the dish was quite tasteless. Bit hit and miss. The house special fried rice was OK but could have had more meat.

Pancake rolls could have been filled more. The noodles were like packet "super-noodles" not nice long thicker ones that most other chinese restaurants use. But size of main portions were more than enough.

The food was extremely poor, what I ordered I didn't get and the customer service was rubbish. Upon calling to explain my order is incorrect the person closed the phone off during the call. Horrible service and disgusting food.

Food was lovely and arrived quickly, after a bit of an issue over a minimum spend amount to deliver to me in Mk42 area it was all good 👍
